Disappointment of my life

Currently travelling with Josh Dreamland Safaris through Tanzania
Driving dirt roads in a vehicle that has no aircon and having to open windows of the vehicle and dirt of vehicles using the same road fils your game viewers interior to the extend that nothing is comfortable is an under explanation of fact. The trip going to see some of the greatest wildlife sights is like sitting in a sauna filled with dirt while you are tossed around all the time while in the car. The biggest disappointment of my life.

We booked this safari at very short notice, and from the very first message Elizabeth was incredibly fast, reliable and helpful — tailoring everything to our needs without missing a beat. That kind of responsiveness when you’re booking last-minute makes all the difference, and it set the tone for everything that followed.

Our guide Peter was simply a star. Knowledgeable, kind, attentive and genuinely excited about every single animal we encountered — his enthusiasm was completely contagious. He took us to all the right spots, always went the extra mile, and made us feel looked after throughout. We couldn’t have asked for better company across four days in the bush.

The lodges were beautifully chosen and each one was an experience in itself — from a luxury tent with an outdoor shower right in the bush, to a lodge near a Maasai village where we had dinner hosted outdoors under the stars. All were spotlessly clean with excellent food, and the picnic lunches at the park’s scenic spots were a highlight we didn’t expect.

Across three national parks we saw incredible wildlife up close — including all of the Big Five. The variety and proximity of the animals genuinely took our breath away.

For anyone hesitant about booking a safari — we understand the feeling, it can seem daunting — we can say with full confidence: this is a trustworthy, reliable and wonderfully organised operation. We were a couple travelling together and felt completely at ease from start to finish. We just leaned back and enjoyed every moment.

Safari was well organized starting from airport pickup and through the whole tour. Our guide explained every day in advance and asked about our preferences too. We did a 7 day trip with 4 days in central and Northern Serengeti. Can definitely recommend this tour

​When my guide first told me he had the personal phone numbers for every animal in Tanzania, I thought he was just joking around.
​But when we were on our game drive in Northern Serengeti the next day, it felt real! We arrived at the riverbank, and literally, the wildebeests started crossing the river right at that moment—as if they had received an order! You have to know that seeing the Great Migration in early July is notoriously difficult; even if you find the herd, you usually have to wait for hours. But for us, the moment we pulled up, the crossing began! We even got to witness a few crocodiles taking down wildebeests in the middle of it. We saw everything we could possibly hope for. By the time we finished watching, the other group that started with us that morning hadn’t even arrived yet.
​Thank you, David! You are a magical guide! I am a true believer now—you really do have the phone numbers for every animal in Tanzania! You weren't bragging; you’re the absolute best!
​PS: For a guide with a "VIP contact list" for all the animals, checking off the Big Five is just standard procedure, so I won't even bore you with those details.
​This African trip was worth every penny. We saw everything we came for and more—absolutely no regrets! Thanks again, David! You rock!
