A chain of miracles
However, [pamoja Tours and Travel] responded to my inquiries promptly and courteously, and was flexible in accommodating my requests.
Also, despite the private nature of the tour, they were more conscientious than other companies, so I highly recommend them.
My driver, Davis, kindly supported me, even though I don't speak English, and I was able to complete the 13-day tour safely and with wonderful memories. Without him, this miracle would never have happened.
"The Jewel of Uganda"
1. A dream I never gave up on became a reality.
A dream I had once given up on. To alleviate my anxiety, I decided to take the opposite route instead of the usual one, and as a result, I encountered a herd of silverbacks in just 30 minutes under clear skies!
And when the silverbacks suddenly came toward me, I was filled with joy and happiness that surpassed my fear.
2. A phantom leopard I had never seen before was right in front of me.
Riding with a ranger, I received quiet yet tense orders to move other vehicles out of the way. Only the lead vehicle was allowed to watch a leopard emerge from the bush right in front of us, walking and climbing a tree. After the other six vehicles had left, we had lunch in the car, making eye contact with the leopard.
Afterwards, we spent some relaxing time with two tree-climbing lions.
A miraculous event that money can't buy, and time passed quietly, filled with the utmost happiness.
③ The sight of a crippled king
During an evening game drive, a male lion lost his ankle in a trap while alone. Unable to reach his itchy body, he desperately licked it.
Learning of the unconditional love that continues to support his brother, I was moved to tears by the deep sadness and compassion. I hoped that he would survive.
④ Tattered clothes but shining eyes
Even in an orphanage or living in poverty, the innocence of children waving to us on the roadside soothes our hearts.
It was overflowing with the purity that we have lost without realizing it amidst an abundance of material things.
5. A people driven from the forest. The Batwa people were forced from their land as a price for protecting the gorillas, and they faced the harsh reality of extreme poverty, discrimination, and loss of their culture. They were smiling as they danced, but when it ended, a sense of loss overwhelmed them, and they felt a painful sadness.
There are many more stories to tell, but the people of Uganda were so kind that it felt like my heart was purified.
Please enjoy a wonderful trip with Pamoja Tours and Travel!

Amazing. Pamoja is perfection 🙌🏽
From the get-go, Regina was absolutely wonderful when it came to communicating, putting together a great program, adjusting details and tailoring my trip. Super responsive and trustworthy. I am a solo female traveler and I have to say Pamoja made me feel welcome all the way from booking to being in Uganda.
My guide and driver Hamindu is just a wonderful person. Felt at ease and welcomed from day one and we had the best trip ever, saw tons of places and animals and through it all Hamindu was truly a terrific and professional person to have around. Felt very safe and enjoyed every second.
Don’t hesitate. Go for it. Uganda 🇺🇬 is a fantastic place to visit and Pamoja is the ideal way to support a local and conscious small business that gives back to community as well. An all around winner 🏆

Exceeds every expectation, beyond amazing.
Pamoja Tours exceeded expectations in every possible way. Regina was absolutely phenomenal in helping me organize our dream safari. We booked well in advance, and I must have sent Regina 40 emails leading up to our trip. She answered every one of them promptly, often within a couple of hours, and gave wonderfully detailed answers to every question I had. She went above and beyond to accommodate our every request. Words cannot express how great a job she did. I booked a private safari to Uganda for three people for two weeks and was able to customize every single day to ensure we were doing what we wanted and staying where we wanted.
Upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted by our guide, Amos, and although it sounds cliché, he quite honestly became a friend during our stay. The next time I go back to Africa, I will send Amos a message first to ensure he is free on the dates we want to travel before booking with Pamoja Tours. He, too, exceeded all expectations. His knowledge and passion for the wildlife you will encounter on a safari are unmatched. His spotting skills are ridiculously good, and he makes you feel welcome and part of the family from day one. But best of all, it is his passion and love for nature that is simply contagious, and his stamina is unbelievable. He was constantly offering to go just a little bit further because another great spot was up ahead. At no point did we ever feel rushed or short on time. We only went back to the lodge when we had requested because Amos was always keen to see more wildlife.
Our two weeks in Uganda were like nothing else. We saw every animal we went there to see, from Gorillas to Shoebills to Hyenas, Leopards, Lions, Chimps, Elephants, Giraffes, breathtaking waterfalls and more. Basically, you name it, we saw it.
I cannot recommend Pamoja Tours enough. Regina will be with you every step of the way, ensuring your vacation is exactly how you want it. Once you arrive, I promise you will have the time of your life. Uganda is a beautiful country, the parks are not crowded, and the people are beyond friendly. 10/10 recommend. Just writing this review is already making me think about booking another trip. We came away with nothing but fond memories.
Curtis.
Professional, knowledgeable and attentive
We traveled with Pamoja Tours recently, and we could not be happier with our 7 days Uganda trip. They were incredibly helpful from the very beginning (very patient answering all of my questions and even changing itinerary details when necessary). Regina, at the office, made excellent recommendations that allowed us to tailor our tour to exactly our taste and needs. We had last minute flight changes and she was able to re-arrange things with no problem. Allan, our driver during the trip, was equally professional and very knowledgeable. And what a trip it was!! Excellent hotels chosen to our specification, great activities that allowed us to do exactly what we wanted (even visiting a school), and the beauty of Uganda that is unparalleled. We had great experiences with chimpanzees and gorillas. Completely unforgettable. Thank you so very much, Pamoja Tours, four our amazing trip. Uganda is really the pearl of Africa, and you were GREAT.
