The entire experience was truly unforgettable—a lifetime memory we’ll always cherish. Highly recommended!

Special thanks to Thom for going the extra mile to make everything exceptional. From arranging a surprise birthday cake for my son to fixing my wife’s hiking shoes (which are now good for another 10 years!), your thoughtfulness didn’t go unnoticed.

Kudos as well to Good Luck and Istanislav for guiding us through the Kilimanjaro hike—you both made the journey even more memorable. Looking forward to reaching the summit with you next time! 💪

And lastly (but definitely not least), I have to mention how impressively clean the restrooms were—everywhere we went, even in the most remote locations or deep in the bush. Absolutely commendable!

Great Safari Experience

We had a great experience and our tour guide Hans was very kind and experienced. He showed us really good spots for animal sightings - at the end of the Safari we saw all of the animals there are in the region.
Also, all the accommodations were very nice and clean!

Tarangire one day safari - Amazing experience!

I recently did a one-day safari with Big Tom in Tarangire National Park, and as always, it was an incredible experience. Having been on longer safaris with Tom in the past, I knew I was in for a fantastic day, and he certainly did not disappoint.

Tom’s passion for wildlife and dedication to providing an exceptional safari experience is unmatched. He goes above and beyond to ensure you see as much as possible, skillfully navigating the park and using his deep knowledge of animal behavior to find incredible sightings. His expertise doesn’t stop at the wildlife—he is also incredibly knowledgeable about the park’s flora, ecosystems, and conservation efforts. I asked a lot of questions throughout the day, and he answered every single one with enthusiasm and insight.

Tarangire is famous for its elephants, and we saw plenty of them, along with a wide range of other animals such as lions, zebra, giraffe and buffalo in their natural habitat. The landscapes were stunning, and Tom’s ability to position the vehicle for the best views and photography opportunities made the experience even more special.

Whether it’s a one-day adventure or a longer safari, I highly recommend Great Escape Trails. Big Tom’s experience, professionalism, and genuine love for Tanzania’s wildlife make every safari unforgettable. I can’t wait to do another one day.

Amazing Safari

My girlfriend and I went on a private 3-day safari. The safari was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania.
We were able to observe almost all the known animals up close and take some very nice photos of them.
Our guide, Thomas, was super nice and extremely knowledgeable about the national parks, the animals and life in Tanzania in general.
If we go on another safari in Tanzania, we will gladly do it again with this provider.

Our guide Thom was extremely knowledgeable—he knew everything about the animals and had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife, even those we could barely see through our camera zoom. His sense of humor made the trip even more enjoyable; He is very cool and relaxed. Beyond wildlife, he was well-versed in culture and geopolitics, making every conversation insightful. He was also an exceptional driver—while many complain about long game drives being uncomfortable, we had no issues at all.
The accommodations booked were excellent, and the food was delicious throughout the trip. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend the agency. I doubt we could have anything better. Thank you very much Thom.
