An extraordinary and memorable experience

Our safari was an extraordinary and memorable experience from beginning to end. In Tarangire and the Serengeti we were lucky enough to see four of the Big Five several times, and spotting rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater allowed us to complete the full Big Five list. That moment was truly special. The entire journey was thoughtfully coordinated by Isdory, and everything ran smoothly and efficiently throughout the trip.
Juma, our guide, was outstanding. He was highly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind. His deep understanding of the wildlife and his ability to position us for great sightings made every game drive exciting and informative. We always felt well cared for and in excellent hands.
The accommodations chosen along the safari route were beautiful and comfortable, with attentive service at every stop. Each lodge added something unique to the overall experience.
We highly recommend Zara Tours to anyone looking for a well organized and authentic safari adventure in Tanzania.

Six friends from Bonn, one unforgettable adventure

Trekking Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route in 8 days was the toughest thing we have ever done, but also one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives.
This climb demands real endurance, mental strength, and expert support, and we could not have asked for a better crew. Under the leadership of our guide Lema, we felt safe, motivated, and incredibly well cared for every single day. The professionalism, skills, and genuine friendship of the entire team made all the difference. Their support carried us through the hardest moments.
The meals were excellent (far beyond what we expected on a mountain!), the equipment was great, and the organization was flawless. Along the way, we were constantly amazed by the changing scenery, from lush rainforest to alpine desert and the breathtaking views that never stopped inspiring us.
The summit was incredibly tough, but standing at the top made every step worth it. The sense of achievement is something we will carry forever. We also loved the camaraderie within our group, the Swahili songs on the trail, and learning so much about Tanzania, its culture, and its people.
Saying goodbye at the end was honestly the hardest part. What started as a trek ended as a shared journey and deep connection. Asante sana to Lema and the whole crew you made this adventure truly unforgettable. 💙

We cant wait to retuen for another trip

We did a 9-day luxury safari and it completely exceeded our expectations. Thanks to our outstanding guide, Mushi, we saw the Big Five and so much more. He worked tirelessly to find wildlife and delivered sighting after sighting.
Staying at Ikoma and Serengeti Wild Camps was unforgettable, with wildlife all around and lions incredibly close by. Highview Hotel in Karatu was the perfect place to relax between adventures.
Mushi also made our visits to the Maasai village and the Hadzabe bushmen truly special. Cycling from Karatu to Mto wa Mbu was a blast and gave us a beautiful glimpse of local life and scenery.
This is a trip we’ll remember forever. We can’t wait to return for another migration scene and when we do, we will definitely go with Zara

This seven-day safari was truly outstanding

Our safari was absolutely exceptional, and a huge part of that was thanks to Zayina, our tour designer. From the very beginning, his planning was thoughtful and precise, taking into account our preferences and dietary needs to create a trip that felt completely personalized.
We were lucky to have Bright as our guide. His expertise, enthusiasm, and ability to bring the wildlife to life made every day exciting and meaningful.
The accommodations were superb. Leon selected a wonderful combination of lodges and tented camps that balanced comfort with an authentic wilderness feel. Every location added something special to the journey, and activities like the hot air balloon safari made the experience even more unforgettable.
This seven-day safari was truly outstanding, and we are incredibly grateful to Bright and the entire Zara Team for delivering such a seamless and memorable adventure. We would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a safari that truly stands out.

Tarimo Was Outstanding

Our journey through Tarangire, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater was an exceptional safari experience from start to finish. Each destination revealed stunning landscapes, unforgettable wildlife encounters, and meaningful insight into local traditions and culture. We were especially fortunate to be accompanied by our guide Tarimo, whose deep understanding of Tanzania, its national parks, and its wildlife truly brought the experience to life. His professionalism, passion, and attention to detail made every day both educational and enjoyable. The hotels and safari lodges selected for our stay were outstanding and provided a high level of comfort throughout the trip. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly choose to travel with Zara again in the future.
