Overall, we were very happy with our experience.
Our experience was very good, Godfrey was an amazing guide, incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He took excellent care of us and went above and beyond in every respect. The accommodations and experiences that were chosen for us were perfect. We have just one issue regarding the suggestions for travel to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is a long and arduous drive from Entebbe. Before choosing the option to be driven as opposed to flying to a nearby airstrip we were told that the drive would take 8-9 hours including stop overs for lunch, photography and traffic. Our choice was to only stop for minimal rest breaks and traffic was light, (even in Kampala) it still took over 10 hours with roads being pretty rough not just for the last hour which we expected but pretty well the whole way. Had we known this in advance I think we would have chosen to fly. I want to confirm this was in no way was Godfrey's fault he drove very well, it is simply that the infrastructure does not allow for the journey to be any easier.
This was a excellently organised trip with great accommodation.
We chose the low season as this fitted in with our holiday plans and boy was it great. The weather played along and we had such a quiet relaxing trip without crowds around us all the time. Even the mid range budget choice was excellent. Great guide and the chimpanzee's as well as our gorillas interaction was the greatest experience. Eddie our guide shared his great knowledge on every topic we dished up. Worth your money!!

Wonderful Uganda. Mariam did an excellent job.
Mariam, from the first moment, was available for any question or request and responded quickly. Mariam helped us plan our trip, and did it professionally. Our guide Rogers was very knowledgeable in all areas and we enjoyed talking to him about things that were not part of the trip. The activities we did were great and the accommodations for the most part were great. We had a wonderful trip to Uganda!!!!

Trustworthy, reliable and considerate.
I am originally from Uganda although I have been travelling outside of Uganda for a while. I travelled to Uganda from Japan recently to view mountain gorillas with a few of my Japanese workmates. It is safe to say that Kigongo safaris did a great job at organising our tour, from booking accomodation to provision of reliable means transportation, information regarding our travel destination and even the travel attractions. We admire her responsiveness and excellent communication. Mariam gave us a lot of information while planning our trip and she followed our progress every day to make sure everything was exactly as we want it to be, and frankly it was above and beyond our expectations.
Our first interactions with Mariam happened before Covid when we planned our trip to Uganda, she was very professional and we enjoyed working with her and appreciated her dedication, unfortunately we had to cancel because of Covid.
Finally, this year we decided to make our trip. Naturally we looked for Mariam, she opened her own business and organized for us a fantastic guide, interesting activities and unique experiences.
