Great service
I’m so glad I chose Fuhara Safaris tour company! Everything was perfectly organized and ran on time, with excellent communication throughout. The 10 ladies in my group had an unforgettable experience. As a business owner, it was truly a pleasure working with you. Thank you for an amazing experience!
Looked after us during our time in the area!
Fuhara had great and friendly staff who always made our experience. They looked after all our needs during our trip and made sure they accommodated our requests for trips and activities
Would recommend them to anyone visiting the region :)
What a wonderful tour!
We chose this relatively small company over big ones as they frequently communicated via e-mails, which described in details their tours. We went to Chobe national park in Botswana for 3 days and stayed in 2 nights in tent, which had two single beds in it. We were so lucky to see so many lions and leopards! The guide, TH, was a wonderful and knowledgeable and friendly. So professional! The staff of the Futara are also all friendly and helped a lot during our stay in Victoria falls.
They do not feel responsible for the satisfaction of their clients
I was doing the 1day Chobe trip. We were 7 tourists leaving victoria falls for the Zim-Botswana border. We were early and arrived at the border before the crowds, so the checks at the Zim border were straight forward. Then they split our group, 4 could continue immediately, 3 of us had to stay and wait for others customers. Busloads of tourists arrived and after about 1 hour also our customers, we were waiting for, arrived. Now at the Botswana border it took ages to pass the checks. We started our game drive at 10.30 with a long delay. At that time you hardly see any animals anymore. Lunch was good and the river cruise as well. Then we went back and after the Zim border we had to wait again for another 45 minutes for 1 tourist we originally started with. On the way back to Victoria Falls I complained to the organisator, why on earth they splitted our group, since we were 7, could stay together and wouln't have to spend about 2.5 hours at the border. The answer was that it happened on the Botswana side and they would not be responsible. That might be partly true, but the organiser who takes the money, should try to make things better and can't just say, that it's none of their business.
Professional and flexible, with good safari experience tailored to clients' specs & time limits.
Fuhara were able to put together an 8-day safari starting the very next day and were able to accommodate all our requests at a reasonable price. They hooked us up with three different guides in three locations (Hwange, Chobe and Okavango) and provided a vehicle and driver to take us between these locations. All the guides were excellent - knowledgeable and great company. The camps were very well organised and the tents were well designed and comfortable. They made everything easy and pleasant for us (we're in our late sixties), and generally the food was fantastic, especially the Okavango group. My husband was delighted that we also spent two nights in lodges in beautiful settings, and our 8th night in a hotel in Maun before the long drive back to Vic Falls. We learned so much about the ecology, fauna and flora and the game viewing was fantastic. We had a marvellous time, and our driver, Persline, from Vic Falls, was good company, and happy to go with the flow. Thank you, team, for a wonderful experience.
