Professional, reliable and experienced

We had an absolutely wonderful trip to South Africa, and a huge part of what made it such a memorable experience was Tammy and the team at Pembury Tours.

This was our first trip to South Africa and our first safari experience. Tammy helped us put together a fantastic 12-day honeymoon trip covering the Sabi Sands, Hermanus, Cape Town and the Winelands.

We were planning the trip relatively last minute, and Tammy did an amazing job helping us customise everything around what we wanted. She made great recommendations based on her experience, helped us find the best packages, and managed to secure all the bookings we needed despite the shorter lead time. We really appreciated her expertise and willingness to go the extra mile to make the trip special.

What stood out most was how smooth everything felt. Pembury works with responsible, reliable and professional companies and service providers, which gave us a lot of confidence throughout the trip. Tammy was also incredibly responsive and helpful on the ground, always available to answer questions or troubleshoot any issues during our trip — although thankfully, there really wasn’t much to troubleshoot!

The trip exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We’re incredibly grateful for all the work Tammy put in before and during the trip, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tammy and Pembury Tours to anyone planning a trip to South Africa.

Best Ever!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Pembury Tours and especially Kerry, who helped make our trip to Rwanda and Kenya an experience of a lifetime!
From trekking to see the mountain gorillas in Rwanda to our incredible safaris in Kenya's Maasai Mara, every detail was beautifully planned and organized. The accommodations, guides, transportation, and activities were all exceptional.
But what really sets a travel company apart is how they handle things when everything goes wrong, and we certainly put Pembury Tours to the test! Between a canceled airline flight and a stolen passport, our trip nearly fell apart before it even began. Kerry was absolutely amazing throughout the ordeal. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes, rearranging schedules and coordinating with everyone involved to make sure we didn't miss any of the experiences we had traveled so far to enjoy, especially our long-awaited gorilla trek.
Thanks to Kerry's dedication, quick thinking, and persistence, what could have been a travel disaster turned into one of the most memorable trips we've ever taken.
It's easy to recommend a tour company when everything goes according to plan. It's when things go wrong that you discover just how good they really are. Pembury Tours, and Kerry in particular, went above and beyond for us.

Excellent service, listens to you and tailors the tour to your requirements.

From the start the agent want to know what we wanted. Suggested some tours and when we said they weren't quite right took time and effort to make sure we saw what we wanted not some where because that was the normal.
All pick ups a were on time and in comfortable vehicles, the hotels chosen were beautiful. We can not fault this experience and would recommend this operator highly.

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Anya and Pembury Tours! Anya knocked it out of the park with the plans for our honeymoon to Cape Town, safari and Victoria Falls. Every hotel was fantastic, the tours were beautiful, all of the drivers were on time, if not early, and every detail was executed flawlessly. We had a fantastic trip and have passed Anya's info off to multiple friends and family already to book their own trips in the future. We will for sure reach out again for any future trips. All African Safaris Should Begin at Pembury Tours

Our East Africa safari was perfectly crafted by Tammy for our group of four. The lodges were diverse and each had its own ambience as well as being strategically located to give us the best opportunity of viewing The Great Migration. We were fortunate to see the wildebeest race across the Mara River, and it was a sight to behold! Tammy also made arrangements for a balloon safari over the Mara, and it was breathtaking with an exquisite sunrise on the horizon. We were met on the ground and treated to a Champagne Brunch while we mingled with our fellow balloon travelers. Our transfers were arranged flawlessly through Naked Wilderness with Brian as our concierge. Tammy is our go to for African safaris. She listened to and researched our requests to present us with an unforgettable experience and lasting memories!
