Excellent professional and customer focused operator

I can strongly recommend Ernest Magic Tours and Safaries and for you who maybe like us were new to this and not sure what to choose amongst tons of offers here is why I found this operator nothing but just excellent.
First of all Ernest MT are a completely reliable operator. We had some troubles transferring money and we had to make a few late changes to the trip and all was accommodated without any problems. Ernest, the owner himself, even turned up and met us in the Kilimanjaro airport.
Second, everything was delivered according to the standards, description and itinerary described in the contract, no surprises.
Third, the company is still relatively small and works only with experienced guides. This is probably the absolute most important part to look for. Our guide Karim had 15 years of experience and was outstanding, completely committed give us as clients the best possible experience from our perspective. We love to see as much as possible of culture, landscape and of course wildlife and he gave us that, was very friendly and almost became and extra member of the family during the trip. You spend around 12-14 hours a day with your guide so this is important.
When you are on safari there is no guarantee that you will see every animal but the experienced guides, like Karim, give you a better chance and when you have found the animal, the next thing is to find the right way to see it. The experiences guide can predict the next move and in many occasions our jeep was positioned in the front row of action e.g. the leopard claiming a three, a cheetah with her five cubs playing around her or a herd of elephants crossing the road just in front of the jeep.
Fourth, giving the little extra. On our way back on a day where we spend more than 14 hours together, there was still time for a 30 min stop in a town on Christmas day attending a local market.
I am sure there are many good safari operators and some bad. If you choose Ernest MT I think I can say you are in good hands. Our experience was just excellent.

Amazing Safari in Tanzania

Would like to highly recommend Ernest Magic Tours for safari booking. We had a fantastic experience from the moment Ernest and Regina met us at the airport to being dropped off by our excellent guide Karim.

We visited Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro and Serengeti …all just amazing. Karim our guide was fantastic at finding the Big 5 as well as the Ugly 5… highlights were the leopard and cheetah with 5 cubs in addition to the herds of wildebeests and zebras in the Serengeti, the elephants and Baobab trees in Tarangire, and the lions, buffaloes and rhinos in Ngorgongoro crater not to mention the beautiful scenery in all the parks, the sunrises, the balloon ride and the visit to the Maasai village and market in one of the villages on the way to Arusha and finally the beautiful accommodation one of which was a migration camp with WiFi, hot showers , campfire , in the middle of the Serengeti guarded by Maasai at night while we slept to the sounds of the animals including zebras and lions … all truely amazing and all of this in just 5 days …

A huge thanks to our guide Karim who with his more than 15 years of experience found the animals, could predict their movements and always seemed to position the jeep for the best photos … we had great chats in the jeep and a lot of laughs … Karim also made sure we had lovely picnic spots looking at hippos in the Ngorongoro crater or the zebras and wildebeests beside the water in the Serengeti … he really made our trip so unforgettable with loads of fantastic memories.

So to conclude would strongly recommend Ernest’s safari company together with Regina and Karim. They are customer focused, flexible, good fun and have a huge understanding of how to provide a really great experience for their customers.

Thankyou Karim, Regina & Ernest for an amazing experience from start to finish. We will never forget our fantastic 5 day safari trip with Karim.

We had a great time with Ernest on our safari in September. He was always prompt and reliable. He answered all our questions and even helped us learn some Kiswahili. We couldn't imagine a guide we would recommend more than Ernest. We wish him only the best of luck.

We spent four amazing days exploring three incredible parks — Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and two full days in Serengeti. Every moment was breathtaking.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about nature — we learned so much from him! We were lucky to witness some truly special scenes: a mother lion nursing her cubs, a cheetah chasing an antelope, and so many colorful birds, pumbas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. The landscapes were just as stunning — the Ngorongoro Crater is absolutely sublime, and the sunset we saw in Serengeti was magical.

Regina did a fantastic job organizing everything — the lodges she recommended were excellent, and communication with her was always smooth and helpful. Eric, our driver in Arusha, was also very kind and professional.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the whole experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable safari in Tanzania.

Best possible experience with Ernest. He has an amazing knowledge of the country and all species. He has amazing driving skills. We felt so confident and secure with him! We saw almost all animals and he was always extremely friendly and polite. I wish him great success in his new business and recommend him 200% for travelling thru Tanzania!
