Great fun

Six friends from Norway’s fjords set sail,

To Kenya’s wild heart, where wonders prevail.

Tsavo East welcomed us, red earth under wheel,

Two days of magic that time couldn’t steal.

John and Salash, our guides so wise,

Eyes sharp as hawks beneath endless skies.

They led us through dust and thorn-filled plain,

Unveiling the beasts that roam the domain.

Lions lounged lazy in golden light,
Cheetahs streaked swift in the heat of the fight.

Elephants marched, their hides painted rust,

Huge families crossing the savannah’s dust.

Rhinos lumbered, ancient and grand,
Gators grinned wide from the river’s soft sand.

Zebras danced stripes in the shimmering haze,

A parade of stripes through the sun-drenched days.

We saw nearly all that our wild hearts desired,

Every creature except the leopard, retired.
He stayed in the shadows, a ghost in the green,

But the rest of the kingdom made our joy serene.

From dawn’s rosy blush to the stars overhead,

We laughed in the jeep, every moment widespread.

Six souls from the north, forever changed now,

By Tsavo’s red heartbeat and its infinite vow.

So here’s to the safari, the dust, and the thrill,

To John and to Salash, to the African will.


We’ll carry the memories, fierce and so bright—

A two-day adventure that set our hearts alight.

From India,
Our group of 14 decided to visit Kenya in August 2025. The travel was arranged by Akoms, from Nairobi. Atoms made excellent arrangement for our stay, food and travel.
The food was very tasty, resorts were clean. The safari jeeps were very comfortable and our drivers Robert and Clive were very friendly. They were well educated about the wildlife, hence were able to know about the various species of the same and their jungle life. We were able to see about 40 to 45 species of animals and birds. To sum it up, the experience opened our eyes to the different unique holdings of nature itself. We are thankful to Akoms for creating magical memories that would stay in our kinds forever.

Itenary was very well planned. Akoms team was very friendly and helpful. Ballon ride was fascinating . Our jeep broke down a few times which was the only negative part of the tour

We were a group of 14 people from India. We booked Akoms well in advance in the month of February. Since it was our first trip to Kenya and Masai Mara, we had a bit of apprehension how the operator would be. But Akoms proved all our apprehensions wrong. From the time we landed in Nairobi till we finished our trip, Akoms team were with us. They handled our travel, stay and food very well. We even had delicious Indian food everywhere. The safari jeeps were spacious and clean. Our Safari Drivers Robert and Clive were very friendly, well informed about all the animals and gave us useful information about the Animals and birds. They stopped the jeep when ever we wanted to click photos and d were very accomodating. Because of them we could see 40 plus types of Animals and Birds. The Balloon ride was out of the World and very beautiful. We wanted to visit the equator point and Akoms arranged for that too. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend Akoms to all.

They handled our travel, stay and food very well. The chef cooked delicious Indian food at all places for us. The safari jeeps were spacious and clean. Our Safari Drivers Robert and Clive were very friendly, well informed about all the animals and gave us useful information about the Animals and birds. They stopped the jeep when ever we wanted to click photos and d were very accomodating. Because of them we could see 40 plus types of Animals. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend Akoms to all.
