Fantastic

We booked a three day Safari to the Mara Sopa Lodge in Maasai Mara game reserve. We chose to fly to the resort (which was great fun). We were picked up on time from our resort, taken to the Safari airport and were picked up by our guide for three days as soon as we arrived. We began our safari as soon as we left the airfield. Our guide, Kalvin, was very informative and made sure we saw as much as possible. By the time we got to the Resort, we had seen giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and elephants. We settled in and he picked us up again by 3:30 and we were off. We were actually lucky enough to see a lioness hunting a zebra. It was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever witnessed. She was so intense. The animals actually don’t care at all about the safari vehicles - they totally ignore them. She crossed the road right in front of us and never took her eyes off the zebras. A male lion was a distance away, apparently waiting for her to get dinner. She eventually gave up but then we came on more of her pride and watched them successfully bring down a zebra. Luckily the kill happened in some brush so we did not see it but the zebras who had escaped were calling and making distressed calls for their downed comrade and it made us sad for them. Of course we understand the circle of life and everybody needs to eat…but..it is difficult to witness. After about 7pm we returned to our resort and had a wonderful dinner. The food and staff at the Mara Sopa Lodge were outstanding. Everyone is so friendly and warm. We got picked up by 4am the next morning for a hot air balloon adventure. Do Not Miss this activity. There are no words to describe the beauty of the Savannah in the sunrise. After, we had a camp breakfast set up for us with champagne and a fantastic buffet of breakfast food. Kalvin picked us up from the breakfast and we were off for another full day of adventure, seeing more wild animals than we could have imagined. The next morning we were picked up and did a great safari drive back to the airstrip and then flew back to Nairobi. It was wonderful start to finish. Actually 10 Stars! We would also like to give a shout out to the people that took us from our hotel to the airstrip and back to our hotel. We believe that the young lady was with the TELLENA Company and then her younger brother was with us (as well as the driver). Her brother (who we just didn’t get his name) was so full of information and we loved talking with him.

Tellena and especially Victor was an excellent choice for this trip! Everything was amazing from start to finish. The entire trip was very well organized, and everything ran smoothly. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process, and Victor was always responsive and helpful. He worked within my budget and managed to get the absolute best value possible, choosing excellent hotels and making sure every part of the trip exceeded my expectations. The tour offered outstanding value for money. Victor was professional, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great experience. I highly recommend him and this tour to anyone visiting Kenya. Our family had an amazing experience with Tallena Tours. We traveled with our 15 year old son, and from the beginning, Mercy and Victor made the entire process easy and stress free. Throughout the safari, they checked in regularly to ensure everything was going well and that we were enjoying the experience.

The accommodations were excellent and perfectly matched what we were looking for within our selected budget. The Sopa Lodges in Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara and Heritage Luxury Camp in the Serengeti offered beautiful views, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a wonderful safari atmosphere.

The food was outstanding, with buffet style meals offering plenty of variety and quality. We also appreciated the very complete lunch boxes provided on full day game drives, which made our days in the parks even more enjoyable.

Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the staff at every lodge were welcoming and attentive. The attention to detail throughout the trip was impressive.

A special thank you to Philip, our guide and driver, whose knowledge, professionalism, and dedication made the safari truly memorable. He worked hard every day to give us the best possible wildlife experiences.

We had an outstanding experience with Tallena Tours and highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya and Tanzania.

A special thank you to Mercy, the owner, Victor, who handled our arrangements, and Philip, our guide and driver. From the time we booked until the end of the safari, Mercy and Victor stayed in touch to make sure everything was going smoothly and that the experience was meeting our expectations. Their attention and customer service were exceptional.

Our safari included Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara in Kenya, as well as the Serengeti in Tanzania. The accommodations selected by Tallena Tours, including the Sopa Lodges in Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara and Heritage Luxury Camp in the Serengeti, were excellent choices and fit perfectly within our selected budget while still providing a high quality experience.

Philip was knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to making sure we had the best wildlife viewing opportunities possible. His experience and passion for wildlife made every game drive enjoyable and memorable.

Tellena Tours and Safaris really delivered on there promise of adventure, taking us on an unforgettable journey in to the heart of the wild....
Communications were always prompt, the tour and service received was definitely value for money.

Our driver /guide Daniel certainly delivered he went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time, sharing many laughs along the way, he certainly delivered a fabulous safari tour.
His infectious energy , sense of humor, incredible knowledge of wildlife made our journey truly unforgettable, would highly recommend Daniel.

We stayed in 2 lodges in Tsavo Kilaguni Safari Lodge and Salt Lick Lodge both equally good and exceeded our expectations, with breathtaking views and abundant wild life...truly an unforgettable experience.
