Very responsible and efficient guys

During 3 days we have visited 3 conservation areas – Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Areas and Manyara Lake National Park. The whole safari has been very well organized, smooth, interesting and all experience exceeded our best expectations. Before the trip to Tanzania I have maintained contacts with Rioba Safari through manager Jonas, who was very attentive and kept us informed on every step of the process. Regardless that it was a late evening of Saturday, I have received a response from Rioba manager Jonas 15 min. after I have submitted a request for quotations to safaribooking.com! Jonas even contacted Tanzania’s Immigration Department (this was clearly outside his safari duties) when we had some delays obtaining of electronic Tanzania’s visa. Jonas welcomed us at Arusha airport. Our accommodation in Karatu was also green and perfect with possibility to submerge in refreshing pool after intensive day of safari and very good food. Our guide and driver Hakim was very good in time planning and efficiency. He also was very knowledgeable not only about species, but also was able to answer many of our questions on local customs, political situation and many other subjects beyond animals and birds. Hakim was also aware about protection system, e.g. what the difference between national park and conservation area. Overall – he was not only driver, but very interesting companion for conversation. The last but not the least – Rioba Safari proposed us very good price for 3 days of safari. Whoever I told later the price of our package, all were praising it as a very good deal. So, I highly recommend Rioba Safari and I am sure they will not disappoint you.

Amazing Experience whit Rioba Safaris and Denis

I contacted Rioba Safaris, and from the very beginning they were extremely helpful and patient while we were planning and deciding on the safari route. Jonas was very informative, kind, and always available to answer my questions.
I was welcomed immediately upon arrival at the airport, and we left straight away for the safari. Denis, our tour guide and driver, was very patient, knowledgeable, and experienced. He was always helpful and made us feel comfortable throughout the trip. Thanks to him, we were able to see the Big Five and many other animals. The drives were very smooth and comfortable, allowing us to fully enjoy the journey without stress.
I spent seven fantastic days on safari. At the end of the trip, Rioba Safaris also organized the transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport with Jonas in a very comfortable van.
If I return, I would definitely book another safari with Rioba Safaris and Denis.

Points for improvement:
After I paid the deposit, I was informed that some of the hotels were no longer available. This was communicated only after the payment had been made. It may have been due to the fact that it took about one week to organize and finalize the customized tour. Still, availability could have been checked more carefully before requesting the deposit.
That said, suitable alternative hotels were offered, and we were very satisfied with the accommodations in the end.
The only small issue during the safari was that there was just one binocular available, and it was not really suitable — more like a toy than proper safari equipment.
With our tour guide, we spoke both English and German, although the German could be improved.
For these reasons, I am giving 4 stars as an incentive to further improve the service. I hope to give 5 stars next time.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the experience and had a wonderful safari.

Rioba is very patient.He made 8 vision plans for me,and price-breakdown.It's very clear. Response fast.
The guide of Rioba is very nice,he has a very good sight and communication,we collect all the big five.The last day,the rhinoS were very very far,but he got that, incredible.

We had the most amazing experience with Rioba. The team is super professional, accommodated all our wishes. The car was well equipped, clean and spacious. We visited three locations in 2,5 days, have seen the Big Four - Leopard we didn’t spot but had an incredible experience with Lions super close to our car. Our accommodation was amazing overlooking Lake Manyara.
Could not have wished for a better experience! We highly recommend Rioba.

We just returned from a wonderful, tailor-made family safari to Lake Manyara and the Ngoringoro Crater. Jonas Donant handled all the communication. He's very customer-focused and authentic, and he immediately earned our trust when we booked. Our guide, Ernest, was an excellent driver with extensive knowledge and a passion for nature. He gave us a fantastic experience, and we're very grateful for that. We'll be back to visit other parks!
