A Heartfelt Recommendation for NDUTU GREEN EXPLORERS

Our safari with NDUTU GREEN EXPLORERS was simply unforgettable! From the excellent communication to the planning and coordination, everything was handled perfectly. There wasn’t a single detail that was missed.

Culvert, our guide, is truly one of a kind – professional, experienced, and with an incredible ability to read the terrain. He always knew exactly where to look and spotted animals that we would have easily missed. Thanks to him, we were able to see everything we had hoped for, including all five of the Big Five: elephants, lions, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos.

And of course, there were giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, cheetahs feeding on their kills, and many other species of animals and birds. We were also incredibly lucky to witness two spectacular crossings of thousands of wildebeest across the Mara River, including crocodiles hunting the wildebeest during the crossings.

But beyond his knowledge and professionalism, Culvert made the safari a truly special personal experience. He was attentive, patient, and always aware of the people around him.

One of the most memorable experiences was our visit to a Maasai village – a fascinating encounter with a completely different culture and way of life. Culvert made sure all the necessary arrangements were in place so that we could visit the village and experience this unique encounter.

We traveled with our two teenage daughters, and everything was planned in a way that made the safari an incredible family experience – exciting, comfortable, and filled with unforgettable moments.

A fantastic tour for honeymoon.

We were able to communicate via WhatsApp, which made things very easy. On our private safari, our guide frequently asked us what we wanted to see. The accommodations were all excellent. We would especially like to highlight the lunches; we were served meals on proper plates, whereas others had packed lunchboxes. Unfortunately, on the return journey, the hood of our vehicle tore off due to the wind and the bumpy road. Sebastian, our tour guide, drove very carefully after that and got us safely to our destination.

We had a fantastic safari with Ndutu Green Explorers and were very happy with the whole experience. Everything was organised smoothly, from the transfers and accommodation to the daily safari schedule, so we never had to worry about anything.

A huge part of what made the trip so memorable was our guide, Gilibert. He was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife. He explained a lot about the animals and their behaviour, spoke very good English and always made sure we were in the right place at the right time.

During the safari we managed to see all of the Big Five and were lucky enough to experience the Great Migration three times, which was absolutely incredible.

We would happily recommend Ndutu Green Explorers to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania, and we would especially recommend asking for Gilibert as your guide.

An unforgettable safari - Ndutu Green Explorers and Gilibert exceeded every expectation!

When we started planning our safari in Tanzania, we honestly didn’t know exactly what to expect. We hoped it would be special, but the experience we had with Ndutu Green Explorers was far beyond anything we imagined.

From the very beginning, the communication and organisation were excellent. Everything was clearly explained, our questions were answered quickly, and once we arrived, the whole trip ran seamlessly. Transfers, accommodation, meals, timing and all the small details were taken care of, so we could simply relax and enjoy the experience. We always felt that the company was reliable, professional and genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. Considering the quality of the organisation, service and overall experience, we felt we received excellent value for money.

But what truly made this safari exceptional was our guide, Gilibert.

Ndutu Green Explorers planned everything perfectly, but even the best itinerary would not be the same without an exceptional guide. Gilibert’s knowledge, experience, passion for his work and genuine desire to give his guests the best possible safari experience made all the difference.

He seemed to know exactly where to go, what to look for and when it was worth waiting. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife, including all of the Big Five, and we were unbelievably lucky to witness the Great Migration three separate times. It was absolutely breathtaking.

Gilibert has an impressive knowledge of wildlife and animal behaviour and was always happy to explain what we were seeing and answer every question we had. His English is excellent, communication was effortless, and spending long safari days together was genuinely enjoyable. You can immediately feel that this is not simply a job for him - he truly loves what he does and puts his heart into giving every guest the best possible experience.

There were so many moments when we simply looked at each other and thought, “WOW - is this really happening?” The whole safari exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the organisation to the wildlife, the service, the atmosphere and especially our guide - everything was simply incredible.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Ndutu Green Explorers, and especially Gilibert, to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. If we ever return, it would honestly be partly because we would love to spend a few more days driving around the Serengeti with Gilibert again.

Here is our review of the Tanzania safari tour we took for our honeymoon.
While planning our safari, we contacted and compared quotes from several different companies, and we ultimately chose Ndutu Green Explorers. They offered the most reasonable prices and the best-balanced itinerary among all the options, and looking back, it was without a doubt the best decision of our entire honeymoon.
Godson, who handled our initial inquiries, was incredibly kind, attentive, and thorough from start to finish, which gave us complete peace of mind.
Our safari guide, Tony, was hands down the best guide we could have ever asked for:
* Exceptional Driving Skills: Despite being young, he demonstrated steady, outstanding driving across rough off-road terrain and long distances.
* Spot-on Wildlife Tracking: His knack for positioning us right where the Great Wildebeest Migration was happening allowed us to witness unforgettable spectacles up close.
* Spotting All Available Big 5 (4 out of 5): He helped us spot 4 of the Big 5—basically every single one that inhabited the areas we visited! The only one we couldn't see was the rhino, simply because they don't inhabit that specific area. We definitely plan to return to Tanzania and head to Ngorongoro with Tony to complete the Big 5 with a rhino sighting!
