Once in a lifetime adventure - roadtrip in Namibia
I usually organize all my trips myself, but for our first time in Africa I felt I needed more support and inside tips. I decided to go for Viatu because of its great expertise in Namibia and of its care for sustainable travel. Ever since our first call with Mardi I realized we had made the best possible choice! Mardi really took the time to understand our way of traveling and created a perfect itinerary throughout the whole country, with focus on nature and wildlife on a medium budget. Every single question we had (and we had many!) was answered and we left for Windhoek feeling fully prepared. And what a trip we had!! 2 weeks, 3269 km, a very wobbly but adventurous Suzuki Jimny, amazing eco-luxury stays, crazy wildlife and out of the world landscapes. Half of our nights was spent on budget tented camps and even in those cases we had a great experience.
Namibia is one of those trips that need a lot of preparation, an adventurous soul and a good travel agency ready to support you before and during your trip. What we experienced in Namibia will always stay in our memories and hearts. 100% recommend for Viatu!

We just had the most wonderful vacation in South Africa, Botswana, and Zambia! Every stay, tour, safari, and dinners were fantastic—it felt magical from beginning to end. The locations were incredible, the staff at each stop were wonderful, and all the special little details made the trip feel extra special. The tour guides were top-notch, and VIATU’s follow-through as we traveled between destinations was superb. We always felt well looked after.
We chose VIATU from four quotes, and we’re so glad we did. Mardi did a wonderful job listening to what we wanted, putting together a fantastic proposal, and making sure the trip fit all of us. She even helped us name our vacation “#Santiago-Walker Vacation: Better Than Blended,” inspired by the movie and the feedback we shared with her. Responsive and collaborative tour creation
We were late organising our trip to Namibia compared to others so accommodation was limited but the Viatu team came through for us. We gave them what we'd like to do and then worked collaboratively through a plan of what we could do with what was available. The tour was well structured with great activities, and they found us places to stay we might not have done ourselves.
Communication was great and they have a nice web app that lays out the tour very clearly.
Their expertise was invaluable in terms of sorting out what we needed.

The perfect trip
I was very happy with Viatu as from the planning to the real trip everything was very easy, clear and perfectly running.
I particularly liked the web system they use for the planning. Until now, the best I have seen.
About the trip itself everything was according to our expectations, but many times well above them. The hotels proposed were in all cases perfect for us. The same applies for the rental car used.
Finally price was also very adequate for the trip we did.
Os course, without any doubt I will advise to go to Namibia with Viatu.

Helpful, friendly and attentive.
We are two females that wanted to visit Namibia, we travel a lot and usually arrange our trips by ourselves. But Namibia is very big with many different choices of places, parks and lodging. We reached to a few operators for itinerary and ended up choosing Viatu. Simone was our operator and she arranged perfect itinerary for our trip, she listened to our requests and acted quickly on arrangements. Any questions were answered and suggestions provided.
