Trip of a lifetime!
We chose Mountain Warriors for our honeymoon safari, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Ruth was amazing from the beginning, she made the booking process seamless and even came to our hotel the day before we left to walk us through the itinerary and make sure we were fully prepared. Carlos was also wonderful, providing a friendly airport transfer that ended our trip perfectly.
Our guide John was the highlight of the safari. He is funny, an incredible driver, and extremely knowledgeable about the animals, parks, and Tanzania’s culture and history. Beyond his expertise, he became a friend during our time together. We loved sharing stories, learning about his life and family, and talking about our own. Since you spend so much time with your guide, that personal connection makes such a difference. John also has great relationships with other guides, which helped when tracking down certain animals since guides often share sightings and tips.
Also the lodges were amazing and the value for money was insane. We compared our trip with friends who spent double and we had nicer accomodations and better food! We couldn’t recommend Mountain Warriors more highly!

Amazing!!
We had an unforgettable 3-day, 2-night safari with Mountain Warriors, visiting Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater from Arusha, and it exceeded every expectation we had.
As this was our honeymoon, Evaline went above and beyond to make our trip truly special. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire planning process, allowing us to personalize the itinerary exactly as we wanted. She gave us excellent advice when choosing our lodges and even surprised us with a beautifully decorated honeymoon safari jeep, which made the experience even more memorable.
Our guide, Victor, was absolutely exceptional. He was friendly, caring, professional, and always willing to help. His knowledge of the wildlife, the national parks, and the history and culture of Tanzania was truly impressive. Every game drive became an opportunity not only to see incredible animals but also to learn fascinating details about everything around us.
During one of the days, I felt slightly unwell, and the care and concern shown by Victor and the entire Mountain Warriors team were outstanding. They made sure I was comfortable and looked after, which meant so much to us.
Thanks to Victor's incredible experience and dedication, we spotted four of the famous Big Five on our very first day, and the fifth on the second day. It honestly felt like a dream come true! His ability to find wildlife and position the vehicle for the best sightings was remarkable.
From the outstanding organization to the incredible guiding and genuine hospitality, every detail was perfect. Mountain Warriors didn't just meet our expectations—they completely exceeded them.
We cannot recommend Mountain Warriors, Evaline, and Victor highly enough. If you're looking for an authentic, professional, and unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania, this is the company to choose.

John, the real king of Safari
We spent our honeymoon in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. Every detail of the itinerary was thoughtfully tailored to our preferences and the experiences we wanted to have.
Mountain Warriors provided exceptional service throughout our stay, ensuring everything at our lodges and resorts was seamless and well organized.
Last but certainly not least, our guide, John, was outstanding. His knowledge, professionalism, and warm personality made our safari experience truly unforgettable. We couldn't be happier with our safari, everything from the very start to the end was absolutely excellent!
The communication prior to our trip was seamless and reassuring, and everything during the journey ran just as smoothly.
A huge part of what made this trip so special was our incredible guide John, who truly listened to what we wanted to experience and made sure we saw everything on our wishlist, and so much more.
On top of the fantastic wildlife sightings, the food throughout the trip was great, and every single person we met at the lodges and behind the scenes was warm, welcoming, and exceptionally friendly.
Everything was simply super, and we are leaving with memories for a lifetime. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!
Welcoming unforgettable and iconic safari
We did a 5-day safari including Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks and Nogorogoro Crater. All of these parks are worth the visit! Although we went during The Great Migration, due to time and size of the park, we weren't able to make it to northern Serengeti to see the migration, so if that is a "must", make sure you plan accordingly. Even though we didn't see The Great Migration, we saw thousands of animals (including all of the Big Five!!). John was a very good tour guide, very knowledgeable and capable. He made sure we saw all the animals that we wanted to find. It was very enjoyable to talk with him throughout our safari and learn about the animals and Tanzania. We would recommend him as a guide to future safari-goers! Rhema was a great travel agent, made sure that we always got to our hotels safely and responded promptly to our questions while planning and during our trip. Carlos was a wonderful driver, very knowledgeable and kind. It was a pleasure to meet him and to be welcomed into Tanzania by him. We felt safe and had delicious food the entire safari as well thanks to the entire Mountain Warriors team.
One thing though that if you have Mountain Warriors book a flight, call and confirm personally with Flightlink that the flight actually exists because our ticket from ARK -> ZNZ had changed the departure airport (which is very strange), but it all ended up well. Mountain Warriors was very quick to organize a new ride and made sure that we got to our new airport on time. This concern was brought up to our travel agent prior to the trip and while on the trip, with no action taken until we tried to check-in at ARK. This last-minute airport switch could have been avoided by confirming the flight by Mountain Warriors at the start of our trip as well.
