My wife and I spent 7 days on safari with Makini, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

From the very beginning, Ilham was incredibly helpful and flexible, always willing to accommodate our needs and make sure everything was organized perfectly.

We had two guides during our safari. Our first guide was very young, but already had an impressive knowledge of the local area, wildlife, and biology. From the second day until the end of the safari, we were accompanied by a very experienced guide whose knowledge of the animals and the territory was truly exceptional.

Thanks to his expertise, we were lucky enough to witness the Great Migration river crossing five times and see all of the Big Five in a single day — an absolutely unforgettable experience!

Of course, wildlife sightings also depend on luck, timing, and, above all, patience. But having a knowledgeable and passionate guide makes a huge difference.

Thank you, Makini, for this incredible experience and for giving us memories that we will never forget!

Wow doesn't describe our trip. From Lissa the coordinator who was there to answer any questions we had before and after the booking was made to arranging extra surprises for our 25th wedding anniversary. Kelvin was amazing in making us feel comfortable and having ample toilet stops along the way. He was able to put us in the right spot to experience the animals in their natural habitat and answer any questions we had along the way the vehicle was comfortable and always clean. The accommodation was comfortable and the food was great but the people at the accommodation was what made it amazing.

Hi,
we just want to thank your agency Makini and the best driver Moisses. He made our trip extremely beautiful. We saw everything we wanted and Moisses also did everything to make us enjoy ourselves. We had the most amazing 2-day safari with Makini Safaris visiting Tarangire and Ngorongoro. We honestly couldn’t recommend them enough, especially our driver Suleiman. He was absolutely excellent and really made the trip what it was. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted, knew exactly where to go and was so patient and helpful throughout. We got to see all the animals on our list and so much more!

Lisa was also fantastic from the booking side of things and made everything so easy. It was my birthday while we were there and they even arranged a cake for us on arrival, which was such a lovely surprise.

An unforgettable trip and we’re so glad we chose Makini Safaris. Suleiman was a brilliant guide and a credit to the company. 10/10! ❤️🐘🦁
