An unforgettable once in a lifetime experience with Serengeti Clarity
5/5

We were overwhelmed with choices looking to book our safari, Serengeti Clarity stood out with their clear communication and being the most flexible and accommodating.

In the booking phase, Frank was extremely responsive, helping us customise our trip based on what we wanted to see within the budget we had outlined. He gave advice to maximise our itinerary and answered all our questions.
Serengeti Clarity organises everything - accommodation, park fees, meals, petrol, Cultural tours etc. So all you have to do is turn up and have a good time. Their choices for accommodation were spectacular - staying in beautiful tented lodges waking up to sunrises with animals on your doorstep. All meals were arranged for us and the food was delicious. The vehicle (a Toyota Landcruiser modified for safaris) is also modern and comfortable - Wifi available on board, charging points, and comfy cushions to absorb some of the bumpy rides (aka complimentary African massage).

The safari itself was everything we had hoped for and more. We were so fortunate to have Captain Safari, Kelvin, be our guide. Kelvin is such an asset to the Serengeti Clarity team, epitomising going above and beyond for his guests' experience. Kelvin's knowledge of the national parks, animal behaviour, Tanzanian history and culture, and being a skilled 4x4 driver gave us the safari of a lifetime. Kelvin knew all the right areas to go so and positioned us perfectly to ensure the best photos. We had unforgettable encounters with the Big 5 that money can't buy. Surreal. He was always able to spot animals from afar, and able to tell us plenty about the landscape and animals. His knowledge being a proud Masaai man also gave us deeper insights into the Masaai culture and other tribes in Tanzania. We learnt so much from Kelvin on our trip. He always made sure we were comfortable, making adequate toilet stops and checking in with us to see how we were going. We started every morning with a clean car, plenty of snacks and refreshments and a big smile - little details that didn't go unnoticed and made our trip so much more enjoyable.

In a competitive space with many safari operators, we are so glad we chose Serengeti Clarity. They truly value their guests and want to make sure you have an unforgettable experience. This is evident in how hard their staff work and all the little touches making us feel valued. We cannot recommend Serengeti Clarity enough and thank all the staff for their dedication. Asante sana!

The absolute best to help you achieve your dream Tanzanian experience!
5/5

We went on the most amazing 10 day Safari and Zanzibar beach vacation, put together wonderfully by the Serengeti Clarity team.

Our guide, Chalamila, was absolutely everything you'd ever want in a safari guide. With over 15 years of experience, he is an expert driver and "eagle eye" spotter. He was able to put together such amazing plans and routes so that we would get the absolute most out of our safari experience! His title of the "walking encyclopedia" is very well earned, as he is incredibly knowledgeable not only of the wildlife and nature, but of the history and culture of Tanzania. All the amazing stories and conversations we had while on safari is what truly made the entire experience. It's incredibly admirable how each member of the Serengeti Clarity team is so tight knit, so I am absolutely sure that all of the guides with them are also excellent.

As for the logistics, Frank and team were excellent in the entire process - from the initial customized itinerary, to tailoring it to our specific needs, and promptly responding to any questions or feedback, they are extremely easy to work with no matter your budget. When you are in the hands of such an amazing team, it really is hakuna matata (no problem!). Their amazing hospitality and the hospitality of all those at the accommodations/excursions they booked us in is also something we will always remember from our trip.

We would not hesitate at all to recommend Serengeti Clarity to anyone looking for an amazing adventure in Tanzania and we can't wait until next time!

Me and my family had a wonderful experience with our guide Calvin.
5/5

My family and I had an amazing experience in Tanzania with Calvin from Serengeti Clarity. In Serengeti National park (which we spent 2 days in), we experienced the sight of 12 lions in a pride! Apart from that we see a Leopard eating a gazelle, 3 sleeping cheetahs and at least 50 Hippopotamus! It was extraordinary! Serengeti Clarity was very reliable and welcoming.

A remarkable safari experience!
5/5

I had the absolute pleasure of going on a safari with Serengeti Clarity. From the very beginning, the experience was exciting and organized.
Our guide was friendly and informative about the wildlife. We were fortunate to see everything we hoped for—lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and even a leopard! The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully located, offering stunning views and authentic touches. Meals were delicious and with attention to different dietary needs.
I felt generally safe and immersed in the beauty of nature throughout the trip. While there’s always room for improvements, the overall experience was wonderful.
I'd definitely recommend Serengeti Clarity!

SERENGETI CLARITY delivers outstanding value and a seamless tanzanian experience
5/5

For our recent 9-day trip to Tanzania—covering Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Zanzibar—we chose Serengeti Clarity as our tour operator. Without a doubt, they proved to be the best in delivering a memorable, well-organized, and highly personalized experience. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and hospitality exceeded our expectations.

We’d like to begin by extending our sincere thanks to Frank, our main point of contact during the planning stage. Frank was extremely prompt, responsive, and thoughtful in accommodating all our preferences. From understanding our specific food requirements to curating the ideal itinerary based on what we were looking to experience, he was instrumental in setting the tone for the entire trip. His proactive communication ensured we were well-informed and confident going into the vacation.

The highlight of our journey was undoubtedly the 4-day safari experience—covering Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro—with one of the finest safari guides we could have asked for: Abdul. Abdul is not just a guide; he is a passionate storyteller, wildlife expert, and an incredibly kind human being. He went above and beyond to make sure every game drive was thrilling and safe. Thanks to him, we had the opportunity to spot the Big Five, including some truly rare sightings like a rhino in the crater. His knowledge of the terrain, animal behavior, and best viewing points was unmatched. More importantly, he took great care of us—whether it was ensuring we had enough water and snacks, or checking in frequently on our comfort and safety during long drives. Abdul truly made the safari unforgettable, and we highly recommend requesting him if you're planning a trip with Serengeti Clarity.

Our time in Zanzibar was equally well-curated. Serengeti Clarity arranged everything end-to-end—from local logistics to the sightseeing itinerary. We were welcomed by Ali, our friendly and reliable driver, and Sayd, who helped plan our activities across the island. Our Zanzibar experience included stunning locations like Nakupenda Sandbank, Prison Island, Stone Town, Mnemba Atoll, and Nungwi Beach. Each day was a mix of relaxation, exploration, and adventure. Whether it was snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, learning about local history, or enjoying the vibrant Swahili cuisine, the entire segment was executed flawlessly. We especially appreciated the smooth coordination and the care taken to make sure each activity aligned with our interests.

In summary, Serengeti Clarity provided exceptional value for the money we spent. From the moment we landed to the time we flew back, everything—from accommodations and meals to transfers and activities—was thoughtfully arranged. What stood out most was their focus on customer experience, safety, and personalization.

We wholeheartedly recommend Serengeti Clarity for anyone looking to explore the wonders of Tanzania. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned traveler, they’ll ensure your journey is comfortable, exciting, and truly unforgettable.

Unforgettable Safari Experience with Serengeti Clarity and Our Incredible Guide Abdul

We recently had the most memorable safari experience in Tanzania, organized by Serengeti Clarity, and we cannot recommend them highly enough! From the very beginning, the planning was seamless, and every detail was handled with professionalism and care. What truly made our journey extraordinary was our guide, Abdul, who was not only knowledgeable and friendly but went above and beyond to ensure we had the best sightings and the most comfortable experience throughout.

We explored Tarangire National Park, the vast plains of the Serengeti, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater—each place offering a unique landscape and wildlife experience. Thanks to Abdul’s expertise and sharp eyes, we were able to witness the Big Four—lion, elephant, African buffalo, and rhinoceros—in their natural habitats. Though the elusive leopard escaped us, the sheer diversity and abundance of wildlife more than made up for it.

One of the most awe-inspiring sights was seeing thousands of wildebeest preparing for their Great Migration—a truly magical moment that felt straight out of a nature documentary. We also spotted countless zebras, impalas, wildebeest, giraffes, warthogs, hyenas, hippos, and even other predators like cheetahs and hyenas during our game drives. Abdul made sure we were always in the right place at the right time, often positioning the vehicle perfectly for unobstructed views and great photos.

Our accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful provision of Indian vegetarian meals, which made our journey all the more enjoyable.

Abdul’s warmth, patience, and deep love for wildlife made this trip not just a tour, but a heartwarming adventure. Whether it was spotting hidden animals, sharing stories about the land, or simply ensuring we were comfortable, he did it all with a smile and genuine passion.

If you're considering a safari in Tanzania, Serengeti Clarity is a fantastic company to go with—and if you’re lucky enough to have Abdul as your guide, you’re guaranteed an experience of a lifetime.

Trip of a Lifetime with Captain Safari (Kelvin): 7 Day Safari in Tanzania
5/5

I did a lot of research on our safari trip. Where to go (Tanzania/South Africa), when to go (time of year), and who to go with (what company). I can confidently tell you that if you are going on a safari, you want to go with Kelvin as your guide and you want Serengeti Clarity to help accommodate your trip as your operator. Our safari was an 7 Day Safari leaving and returning to Arusha, I customized a few days from their typical schedule based on reviews I had read and what we were looking for from our Safari. Frank of Serengeti Clarity was super responsive as we were looking to decide which operator to go with, and was very easy to work with when it came to customizing our adventure. It was just my dad and I on our trip, so leading up to it we were definitely hoping to have a good guide. We have no clue how lucky we were going to be with Kelvin.

Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Accommodation: Eileen's Trees Inn
Highlights of the Day: Meeting Kelvin at our hotel and Frank at the office before we set off. Lions walking along the car. Elephants (SO MANY), in very different settings throughout the park. Kelvin really showed his expertise by positioning our vehicle to where the animals were going without disturbing them, we were always better positioned than other cars.

Day 2 Karatu to southern Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Sero Tented Camps
Highlights of the Day: Almost a 5 hour drive up and around the Ngorongoro Crater, very scenic and Kelvin did a great job making it not feel long. Amazing picnic lunch amongst the wildebeest in the middle of the Serengeti, was our first introduction to the dung beetle (so bizarre and cool). Saw our first male lions, cheetahs, and truly large groups of wildebeest. Sero Camp (our home for 3 nights) was unbelievable. Amazing service, food, wifi and an amazing room in the middle of the Serengeti that was so impressive.

Day 3 Southern Serengeti
Accommodation: Sero Tented Camps
Highlights of the Day: We woke up at 5:30am and saw the sun rise as we set off by Lake Ndutu. Saw a mother cheetah and her cub. More lions. But the true highlight was the 3 hours we spent with a leopard, who we initially found in a tree. She went on to make a kill of a mongoose and was super fun to hang out with until dusk. Kelvin did an amazing job scouting and finding a leopard, doing so after he promised we would find one. He also once again positioned himself for all of the best viewing of the leopard.

Day 4 Southern Serengeti
Accommodation: Sero Tented Camps
Highlights of the Day: We once again woke up early, Kelvin's promise of the day was to see a kill. Before that, we saw the biggest group of wildebeest we saw on the trip cross the river off the lake, it was more of a stream since the rainy season hadn't started. We also were treated to a big male elephant. As we went out to look for cheetah, we ended up finding a leopard far out into the open grass by a tree. We had over an hour where it was just our car and this leopard as it was tracking rodents and going about its day. We headed back towards the trees and Kelvin brought us to the big wildebeest heard we'd seen earlier, there were three cheetahs stalking the herd. We had a front row seat of the entire start to finish of a kill, lasting about 1.5 hours. Kelvin once again was the best navigator of all the operators. We went back to camp for lunch (which was always amazing at Sero) and a nap, only to finish our evening hanging out with a pride of 10+ lions overlooking the sunset of Lake Ndutu.

Day 5 Southern Serengeti Travel to Ngorongoro
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Wild Camp
Highlights of the Day: We got a nice sleep in, as Kelvin had almost entirely satisfied our dreams for visiting the Serengeti. One of the biggest things left to check off was Hippos, so Kelvin took us to Lake Masek. We were the only car we saw for hours. Kelvin took us around the lake and we saw multiple groups of hippos, including babies! We then made our trek back towards the crater, seeing our first rain of the trip as we exited the park. The rain was brief and did not impact our picnic lunch under an umbrella acacia surrounded by wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. We stopped at a Masai village and learned about their culture, building on all of the amazing things Kelvin had educated us about throughout the adventure.

Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater
Accommodation: Eileen's Trees Inn
Highlights of the Day: We woke up early to make our trek down to the crater. The varying terrain made for a fascinating descent. We saw hundreds of zebra, gazelle, baboon, water buffalo, and more right as we got down to the crater floor. Our goal was to find a rhino, which Kelvin succeeded in doing so about an hour into our safari. We drove by lions and ate a picnic surrounded by hippos at a nice picnic stop. Our safari was capped by a huge family of elephants in the forest at the edge of the crater floor. We enjoyed the half-day of safari by playing pool and basketball with Kelvin and his friends back at the Inn.

Day 7 Lake Manyara to Airport
Highlights of the Day: After our final breakfast with Kelvin, we stopped at all of the shops he suggested where we got great deals for awesome gifts. Kelvin was sure to give us advice on bartering before we entered anywhere, and also brought us to a beautiful Tanzanite shop. Lake Manyara was a nice final stop, providing us with encounters with Blue Face Monkeys, lions in the trees, and more elephants. Kelvin brought us back to Arusha where he showed us places he'd talked about in stories. We were then brought back to the office where we were given a parting party with champagne, cake and a beautiful painting. Kelvin dropped us off at the airport where we said good bye for now, we felt so lucky to have him as our guide!

If you have made it this far, I think it is clear how amazing Kelvin and Serengeti Clarity were for this truly trip of a lifetime. Contact Frank at Serengeti Clarity if you want to experience a trip like us, don't forget to request Kelvin too.
