Gorillas + Hermosa = Once in A Lifetime Experience
Absolutely perfect experience using Hermosa for our 2 day tour of Volcanoes NP!
Communications with Tiamo leading up to our early morning pick-up in Kigali went very smoothly as the itinerary was to get to park in time to meet the gorilla trekkers that same morning.
From the moment we met our driver Muhammed, we knew we were in great hands. Laughing and joking with Muhammed during all the driving was as much a part of the experience as the Gorillas and our crater hike. When we got back to Kigali we enjoyed a Nigerian meal with him as well, and now consider him a friend, amazing guy!
Overall the experience couldn't have been better! We've just completed a month long journey through Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, and Seychelles, and I can say without hesitation Rwanda was our favorite country! The phenomenal tour with Hermosa was definitely a big part of this.

Safe safari guide with a fantastic eye for spotting animals
I recently did a 2-day safari in Akagera National Park and it was such a great experience. I went as a solo female traveler and felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire time thanks to my guide, Richard. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed to know exactly where to find the animals. He even stopped on our way back into town for some souvenirs based on our conversation earlier in the day
Richard had a great eye and we ended up spotting so much wildlife throughout the trip.
Some of my favourite moments were watching an elephant walk right beside the car, seeing giraffes up close, and spotting a hidden bushbuck. We also did a sunset boat cruise which had lots of birds to see. It wasn't the highlight for me, but still interesting if you enjoy birdwatching. The group before had seen a lot of wildlife so I think it’s more dependent on luck.
The company was really easy to communicate with and made the booking experience quite seamless. I reached out to several but went with them based on their ease of communication and good reviews. The price was fair and on par with my other quotes.
Overall, I’m so glad I chose this safari over the gorilla trekking experience. It felt more personal and relaxed, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rwanda. If you can, definitely ask for Richard, he really made the trip memorable.
Life changing experience
I’m an experienced traveler and have traveled and worked in many countries in Africa and elsewhere and this was a seriously professional tour service. From booking until we boarded the plane, Hermosa provided fabulous and attentive and flexible service. The communication was superb, our guide Richard was incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating, and I’ve rarely felt so taken care of or safe on any trip or tour. The accommodations were even nicer and more impressive than in the pictures, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We did a gorilla trek and spent an hour literally sitting next to an entire family of Gorillas, practically at arms length, and I think, after spending time staring into the eyes of baby gorillas from only a few feet away, I will never be the same. I absolutely recommend Hermosa, and definitely ask for Richard!

Seamless tour, amazing experience
I did the 3 day, 2 night gorilla/golden monkey tour. Hermosa Life were extremely flexible and accommodating after a flight delay left me unable to see the gorillas on the scheduled day, converting the gorilla trek to a later day trip due to my own work conflicts. Richard was an amazing tour guide - he took care of everything and was super knowledgeable and friendly. When we decided we wanted to go to the Genocide Museum the following day, he made sure the audio guides were paid for and waiting for us, and he even helped me pick up clothes I had made at Kimironko market. He made the experience so simple for me so I could spend all my time just enjoying the golden monkeys and gorillas! A truly amazing experience!

Exceptional accomodations, transportation and most importantly service
We just got back from our 5 day, 4 night primate trekking in Rwanda with Hermosa Life Tours and Travel. The accomodations and transportation are excellent. From the moment we were met at the airport upon our arrival to the time we were dropped off, our driver/guide, Pacifique, provided top-notched service. He was knowledgeable, professional, punctual and helpful with an outstanding personality. His positivity and upbeat demeanor made our whole trip with him much more enjoyable. An example of him going above and beyond his duties is that one of our travel companions' belt broke right before the gorilla trekking. Pacifique let him borrow the belt he was wearing for the next two days until he was able to take us to a place where we can buy a belt back in Kigali. Hermosa Life & Tours is very lucky to have Pacifique on their team.

We have booked this Tour company on our Akagera Safaris and our Guide was always great and knowledgeable. We saw all big 4 animals only leopards was missed, we shall go in our next summer as per our kids proposal. I have contacted this tour compay for our group tour to Akagera from Kigali and our guide Damascene was very professional and managed to see all big five in Akagera Park. He was on time starting from our Homes to the end. He is very knowledgeable and some foreigners together in the tour promised to send more Tourists to Rwanda because he gave all beyond the tour itself, they will come to see the Gorillas in the volcanoes park in December. Fantastic Experience

Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking with Hermosa – Guide Abu Was Outstanding!
We had an incredible gorilla tracking experience in Rwanda with Hermosa, and our guide Abu made it absolutely seamless from start to finish.
Abu picked us up from Kigali right on time and ensured everything went smoothly throughout the day. After our once-in-a-lifetime trek to see the gorillas, he even helped us find a place to clean up and freshen up before heading back. That extra effort really meant a lot!
He then dropped us off at the airport perfectly on time, making the entire journey stress-free. Abu was kind, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. His service and hospitality were truly exceptional.
