Valuable and honest tour agency
Their price is the most reasonable for solo tourist. And all staffs were very kind and nice. It would be good to go with this agency. I have been scammed before with the tour from hotel, so it would be better to compare the price and choose this agency. They offer tour at reasonable price.

I thought it would be great and the tour still exceeded my expectations
We went on a 5 day/4 night safari to Volcanoes National Park (including a gorilla trek and golden monkey trek) and to Lake Ruhondo organised by Hermosa Travel.
First - the service provided by Yvonne at Hermosa was fantastic. She organised everything quickly and efficiently and, as the tour went completely to plan, we knew we were in safe hands of a very professional tour company.
Second - our tour guide and driver Pacifique was the most amazing and generous guide. Nothing was any trouble for him, he knew the answers to all our many questions and he made sure we got the best experiences possible. I think a tour can only be a great tour if you have a great guide and Pacifique was certainly a brilliant guide. He is also the most genuine, decent and passionate person. If you can request a driver/guide, make sure you request Pacifique!
Our whole tour and our experience of Rwanda has been incredible. Do not think twice about visiting Rwanda and using Hermosa!

Above and beyond expectations
We had a phenomenal experience with Hermosa. We especially loved sharing our journey with our guide, Mr. Aboubakar from Hermosa. We have learned and experienced so much from this journey--about the incredible wildlife of Rwanda but also its rich and complex history and culture. I cannot recommend this tour group enough. We hope to come back one day and will definitely be using Hermosa Life and Tours again.

Unforgettable Rwanda safari with Hermosa and guide Danny – safe solo travel, Big Five, gorillas.
This trip exceeded my expectations, largely thanks to my driver-guide Danny. As a solo traveler, I’d rate the overall wildlife experience a 10/10 and truly recommend it to anyone.
Danny picked me up directly from the airport, and we headed first to Akagera National Park to look for the Big Five. He went above and beyond to show me every corner of the park, to find all the animals I hoped to see (especially the leopard), and to answer all of my questions. His knowledge of wildlife and the park itself is incredible.
I also want to highlight how safe I felt during the long drives with Danny. He drove carefully, never speeding or taking risks in curves, and he constantly checked in about my wellbeing, including photo stops, bathroom breaks, and food stops.
After two days in Akagera, we drove to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park for the gorilla trekking experience. Danny and the Hermosa team had already secured all my permits and arranged hotels according to my preferences. Each morning, he picked me up on time and made sure I got everywhere I needed to be. The gorilla trekking was the absolute highlight of my trip, closely followed by a fantastic day seeing golden monkeys.
On the way back to Kigali, I had some time before my flight, and Danny even organized a brief city tour. He showed me some of the best viewpoints over Kigali and shared insights about the city, which was the perfect way to end the trip.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Hermosa as a tour company—and especially my driver-guide Danny—for anyone wanting an unforgettable trip.

Two Excellent day tours from Kigali
My daughter and I travelled to Rwanda in December 2025. Mostly we were busy in Kigali but we had two days free for sightseeing so we arranged some tours with Hermosa Life Tours and Travel. We did a day trip from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park on one day. And then a day trip from Kigali to Akagera National Park on the other. Both days were expertly organised by Hermosa. A big thank you to our guide Damascene, and also to Yvonne for her organisation. The payment was done up front and happened smoothly by international money transfer via my bank.
The Volcanoes NP trip was to see the mountain gorillas. Hermosa organised our permits and everything ran smoothly. We were picked up from our hotel in Kigali at 04.30 and arrived at the briefing point with plenty of time to spare. We ended up with a tough 3 hour hike to see the gorillas, so be prepared for a tough hike as the gorillas go where they want. But when we found the gorillas the hike was all worth while. I strongly recommend gaitors and sturdy boots. After the national park we also visited the Gorilla Guardians Village where we had an awesome introduction to Rwandan culture. The village is not far from the national park and it takes about an hour to visit, so it is easy to add to your itinerary.
We also visited Akagera NP for a day safari. Its better if you can spend 2 or 3 days, but we only had one day to spare so Hermosa made it work. Again everything was well organised and ran smoothly. We were picked up from our Kigali hotel at 05.00 and ended up with 6-7 hours in the park. We saw zebra, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, 6 lions, warthogs,, a hippo. many impala and Topi, Baboons and more than 10 types of birds. Damascene was also able to get us a hot meal for lunch in the national park (own cost). We had another awesome day and were back at our hotel by 19.00. I am very happy to recommend Hermosa Life Tours.
