Safari Honeymoon
We had a wonderful time with Golden Trips Tanzania. Our guide, Edward, was truly outstanding. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and an excellent navigator through challenging terrain, but also a genuinely kind and sincere person. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see so much wildlife up close, which made the experience unforgettable. Throughout the trip, he went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were having the best possible time. We learned so much from him and felt well cared for the entire journey. Highly recommend!

Wonderful
Our ten-day East African safari, spanning five days in Kenya and five in Tanzania, was an unforgettable journey.
Our Kenyan guide, Jake, provided outstanding service. His polite and accommodating nature ensured all our needs were met, making our time in Kenya, including a wonderful visit to the Masai Mara Reserve, both seamless and enjoyable.
The Tanzanian portion of our tour was expertly guided by Edward Mbise. Edward proved to be an exceptional guide, whose profound knowledge greatly enriched our experience. He frequently utilized a visual guide to detail the animals and trees we encountered.

Amazing driver guides
Jack and Edward are wonderful driver guides! They always did their best to get us the best spots and angles so we could capture the animals we wanted to see. They shared a lot of knowledge during the drives, which made the experience both fun and educational. They are also very patient, friendly, and always smiling, which made the whole journey very pleasant and comfortable.

He was thorough and professional, providing a wonderful experience!
My 5 day safari was simply amazing! Our guide, Sylvester, was incredibly knowledgeable about the birds, animals and plants and was also a lot of fun. He managed my needs perfectly. The whole trip was so well-organized, and we felt completely safe at all times. We were lucky enough to see a wide variety of animals, including a rhino in the distance, and the entire experience was one of the best of our lives. We highly recommend this safari!

Very nice Safari: do it!
We did a 5-day safari. Overall the trip was really really great.
Accomodation 1 was good; People working were correct, nothing more.
Food was ok.
Accomodation nr 2 (tentcamp) was superb.
The people working there were extremely friendly and genuine; we had immediately a great contact with them. We loved them.
Food was good, service also excellent.
Tents were very very nice, clean; excellent view, beautifull setting. At nights hearing the hyena’s and other animals is very nice. Would have loved to stay longer. Stayed 2 nights.
Accomodation nr 3 was also superb. Really nothing wrong with this place; almost like a 5 star hotel. Now we are no retired people and there were a lot old rich people, so we connected best with nr 2, the tent. Those people there were real in their warmth, but still it was nice after a long trip to end the safari in such nice place.
Very good food also and lovely view from the terrace.
The Safari.
Mousa our driver is a great person and a very good driver. He’s also a knowledgable guide and has good eyes for spottjng animals.
He is funny, he gives you the feeling you’re safe and he drives more peacefully than most other drivers which is good if you wanna see things.
He never takes risks.
The car is old but it is a beast; it never let us down compared to many other cars we saw; a bit of luck you must have too.
Something mostly our daughter missed was wifi onboard. More modern cars have.
The roads are hell but part of the journey. Still I have to make one strong suggestion about the planning; going on day 3 all the way to north Serengeti and back in one day is to far; its 12 hours driving, you spent only 2 hours there; we did not go, especially after the very long days befor.
I would say for going north its better to go one day, stay and come back the next day. (So 6 days total)
Not only is that better for the tourists but also for the driver; I know people from Tanzania are touch and Mousa is mentally extremely strong and focussed, but there is a limit to what you can expect from a driver.
We spent that day with a morning safari and relaxing in the afternoon and that was for Mousa also a good thing.
(Also Nice he was eating together with us in nr 2; I never like it when people who work for us are in other accomodation or don’t get the same food; i do understand but it was in nr 2 pleasant to have him with us)
One suggestion: Give the driver a map and let him in the morning go through the program with the tourists; it is nice to have a bit of a schedule for the day (that is probably a bit european but especcialy with a kid on board, sometimes its good to know how long riders will be)
There were some small things that Mousa did not know, like that the massaï village was included in this trip so no extra payment was needed; but that is just for you to include better in his briefing and it was no big problem. We went and it was very interesting to see their difficult life.
Ofcourse after the visit they take you to tablet made of histamine with souvenirzaak; bargain a fair bit but do realise that a few dollars don’t change your life but helpt them to sustain.
I do understand that with so many safari’s and many drivers, briefing is complicated; overall Anitha from golden Trips Safaris did great.
The first park was very nice; felt like we needed more time there but the journey after the visit is long so I understood.
The walking safari was fun and i could have walked hours more but again i understand the schedule.
The guards were friendly and armed for our safety which makes it thrilling.
The Serengeti is extremely beautifull and not to be missed. People who only visit Ngorongorocrater miss a huge part of Tanzania’s rough nature.
We saw many lions, a few close as 2 meter, one hunting; we saw cheeta’s, a leopard, Servals (which is very rare), hyena’s and all the other more common big and small animals like hippo’s, elephants, giraffe, monkeys etc.
Also so many birds and different eagles and vultures.
It was hard to top that and when we were in Ngorongoro only the amount of animals and the migration of the wildebeasts made it more different; also flamingo’s and the schemert is great; but Serengeti was the TOP.
Unlucky we were with Rhino’s; we did not see them. But that’s part of the game.
The communication and work of Golden is superb;
It was excellent.
Anitha always reacts fast, friendly and proffesional at all my questions.
I was a bit worried about getting the flighttickets to Arusha in time but it worked out perfect.
Tip: its normal to get them the day befor leaving and in pdf; it takes away stress for europeans to know this cos we are used to plan long ahead.
Overall a truly memorable trip in an amazingly beautyfull country.
Would I book throughout Gold Safari’s again?
The answer is a fully YES.
I am very gratefull that we could have this experience and it was worth every minute and every euro!
Thank you so much Anitha, Mousa and al the others for your hard work.
Thank you also Mousa for all your giving.
Thank you people of Tanzania for all your love and taking care of us!
Respect.

Amazing
Leticia who helped me plan the trip and experience was brilliant and really helpful. Unfortunately i had to cancel my trip for personal reasons and she was understanding of that. Samson was great in helping with the booking cancellation. Hopefully I'll get a chance to go and I'll definitely be using Golden Trips Tanzania

The lodges and tents chosen were amazing, especially Eileens Inn and Ngorongoro Marera Mountaine view lodge.
I really recommend this experience, and I certainly recommend Golden Trips Tanzania as travel agency, and Gesper as guide. Great service.100/10

Dream tour of National parks
The tour operator Leticia has been efficient in organizing a perfect trips for my family and friends, booking clea and typical accomodations located in logical order to visits all parks. The guide Dan has been a knowleadgeable and experienced driver able to bring us in the best spot to watch animals or beautiful landscapes. He accomodated all our requests and the jeep was always full of water and soft drink. Dan is friendly and we would reccommend him for any trip across Tanzania as he will make your trips a dream.

The entire team at Golden Trips were friendly, hard working, fun, and went above and beyond!
JOEL at Golden Trips put together an unforgettable African Experience! I would 100% recommend using his company and crew and, if I get the opportunity when my kids are older, I hope to use them again one day. He customized the trip to our groups' preferences, and even changed it several times with no complaint when we added a couple more people last minute. Our trip was in two parts: A safari the first week and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro the second.
During our first week, we took a Safari in Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Crater, and also included a cultural experience with 3 local tribes. Our Safari guide ERIC worked really hard to make sure we saw as much as possible. We didn't see all the big 5, but we saw pretty much everything else, including rivers full of hippo, thousands of zebra, the wildebeest crossing the Mara River, several male lions (extremely close!), a female lion hunting, and so many baby animals (elephants, giraffes, lions and more!). We had many personalized experiences including a walking tour in Tarangire NP, a night tour in Lake Manyara NP, and the hot air balloon trip over the Serengeti (highly hightly recommend this). Each of the camps we stayed at were clean, well serviced, and relaxing. The food was delicious and the people were a lot of fun. The value for the cost was very good!
Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro was memorable to say the least! It was challenging and extremely rewarding. The crew that took us up was perhaps one of the best on the mountain. DICKSON and NOAH were our guides and I highly recommend requesting them. They were good sports and a lot of fun with our crazy group! The crew carried our gear, cooked our food, set up and took down our tent every day, and still had great attitudes, taught us about the mountain's history and ecology, and managed to make us laugh a lot. CHEEKS was our chef and he makes a mean zucchini soup (I still want that recipe!) and AY was my personal porter and our group waiter. He was up every morning to wake us with hot tea and warm water to wash with. He was unbelievably strong and I am grateful to him for helping me be successful on the mountain!
On summit day, one of our group got some mountain sickness at the top and lost some of his coordination. Dickson and Noah rushed into action, took him arm in arm, and rushed him down the mountain to safety. One of our porters, Ay, also helped a lot to bring him safely down. I don't think we would have been able to help him descend by ourselves, so I owe a debt of gratitude to our guides for the safety of this member of our group. I know if he were in critical condition, they would have had the means to call for additional help. They pushed us enough to be successful, but kept each day at a pace that was tailored to our skills and needs. In the end, we all summited and made it home safely.
All in all, I would absolutely recommend this group for their reliability, good communication, excellent customer service, providing a great product and just genuinely great people. They work very hard to give you a memorable experience, and they certainly succeeded for us!
