Once in a lifetime experience with incredible guides
We hiked Mount Kilimanjaro doing the 6 day Machame trip. Everything was incredibly well organized, and we were able to rent everything we needed the day before the trip. Our guides Bob, Jofrey, and Godfry were amazing and helped us every step of the way to make sure that we felt our best each day and were able to have an enjoyable experience at the summit. The entire team was so kind and professional, and were always working hard to make sure that we had food and camp set up even when the weather was less than ideal. We couldn't be more grateful to have such wonderful people helping us to the top! The Machame route was beautiful, and gave us a chance to see a new ecosystem and have a variety of different hikes each day while gradually acclimating to the altitude. Overall, I would highly recommend booking with Making Memories in Africa for the chance to take on an incredible journey with an amazing team!

Beautiful safari in Tarangire National Park with Making Memories in Africa
From beginning to end we felt very well taken care of by the whole team! Our guide picked us up early in the morning and then we drove to Tarangire National Park. Already on the way there our guide provided us with interesting facts about the nature we were seeing. In the National Park he put in all efforts to see all animals, he gave us enough time to admire the nature and the animals, gave us additional information and answered all our questions. The lodge for the night was also beautiful. All in all we can recommend booking with ‚making memories in Africa‘! We are more than happy with our experience and would do it anytime again

Thoughtful, skilled and kind tour operator for creating truly unforgettable memories
Me and my family chose Making Memories in Africa for our safari to the Serengeti and it was for sure an unforgettable experience. Ally organized everything so quickly and according to our wishes, we have zero complaints, only gratitude and the best memories. 10/10 communication. Our tourguide Joseph was amazing as well, we laughed a lot together but also watched so many animals as he was really good in finding even the most distant cheetah hiding in the grass or the lion family sleeping on an abandoned rock. The price for the safari was also more than worth it, everything was included (e.g. lunchpackages, water, etc.) and there was nothing that could have been improved! Can highly recommend.

We made the best memories!
Ally put together a fantastic safari package for us (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) and then sent us off on our journey with Joseph, quite simply the best guide imaginable.
Joseph is a wonderful person. He always has an answer to every question, remains calm at all times, and is always up for a good joke! With his many years of experience, he doesn’t race blindly through the parks just to reach a lion reported over the radio. Instead, he knows exactly where and how to track animals — nothing escapes his eagle eye. During our time together, we had many great conversations and learned a lot from him about the country, wildlife, culture and language.
We were cooked for and looked after by Chef Lowassa, who repeatedly surprised us at even the most remote campsites with excellent breakfasts, three-course dinners and generous lunches — all served with a tablecloth and proper tableware.

Amazing safari in Serengeti
The review is a bit late, either way I had an awesome time in Tanzania thanks to making memories in Africa. I was skeptical with booking with a random tour operator because you know "seeing is believing". The team handled everything with ease and I was rest assured of an amazing safari experience, which was fulfilled as promised. I was a solo traveler though I met amazing people along the entire safari. My guide Samila was also very friendly and professional. Thank you so much for the amazing experience, will definitely be back.

They did everything to make our Tour to as beautiful as possible.
We were on a 4 day safari in Serengeti and Ngrorongoro and were really happy with this organization! It was crazy to see that the guide (Hebron) we had did everything he could to make our time as comfortable and nice as possible, a really accommodating guy that could also answer every question we had about Tanzanian nature and culture. I was on another Safari with a different organization and was therefore able to see the difference that a good organization and kind guides can make. I can only say you cannot take this quality for granted! This is probably also because Making Memories in Africa is a local company and the guides are still personally picked. The chef (Joaquin aka Mr. Delicious) that came with was also crazy good! He really lived up to his name:D My girlfriend is vegan and even though this is not really a thing in Tanzania, the chef went out his way and loved to cook vegan meals 3 times a day for her, with extra meat next to it for the rest of us. He even made vegan pancakes! We were all around very content and can only recommend this company and the guide/chef, that were smiling 24 hours a day!
P.S. I also did a Kilimanjaro climb with this company and everything was perfect there, too!

My Safari to Ngorongoro and Serengeti Nationalpark with Making Memories in Africa was amazing! Even before the Trip started, they helped us with individualizing our tour so that we could see all the spots that we wanted. The communication was easy and reliable. Also I could not find a better price for what we got at on any other website. Food was good all trip, our guide was very experienced and we see plenty of animals and had a beautiful time in the Parks.

A fantastic and unforgettable experience
We went on a 4-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and enjoyed every moment. Our guide, Joseph, was both skilled and very pleasant to travel with. He made sure that we had the best experiences – we saw all the animals we had hoped for and more.
The food was prepared by the lovely Joachim, who served delicious and varied dishes every day. Together Joseph and Joachim made the trip really good. We really had fun along the way and enjoyed the many beautiful moments that the safari offered.
We spent one night in a lodge and two nights in a tent in the middle of nature, where zebras and elephants came very close in the evening. All in all, an unforgettable trip, which can be highly recommended!

We were a group of six people, on a four-day Safari, with both our own guide and chef. All the practicalities and coordination were completely under control, both in terms of driving, cooking and accommodation - it all worked really well! The food was really delicious, and the guide was very good at English and had a lot of knowledge about the animals. He was also very committed to giving us the best experience, and listened to our wishes all the time. It was a fantastic experience, and I can only recommend going on Safari with Making Memories!!!
