Dextrip organized an exceptional trip to Kenya for us. From pick-ups to comfortable and reliable transportation, everything ran smoothly. We selected three national parks, and after our stay in Diani Beach, the team flexibly adapted the itinerary to our change requests without imposing anything—giving us the freedom to experience the safari we had dreamed of.
Throughout the trip, most of the hotels were excellent and very well chosen. During the safaris, we were fortunate to see all the animals, thanks to the drivers’ patience, experience, and deep knowledge of the parks. Antony, our travel organizer, did a fantastic job coordinating the entire journey and was always responsive and professional.
We highly recommend Dextrip to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

I Am Very Happy!
Pros:
- Lewis, our safari guide was incredible. He used to be a ranger so he knows a lot about the animals and conservation work. I learned a lot doing the trip.
- Communication was great from making the reservation via email to logistics with the safari guide
Cons:
- You might get transferred around a bit. For example, I went with a different guide for a day and then got picked up by my original guide after.

A team that goes above and beyond - an incredible safari experience!
SO happy we chose to do our Safari with Dextrip. From the very beginning our tour consultant Antoni was prompt with his responses and extremely kind. He listened to our requests, answered every question and created the most amazing itinerary. We chose to visit the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and end at Diani Beach. We went with a variety of stay types (from lodges, to resorts to luxury tents). Once on Safari, our guide Thomas was so fun and funny. My husband and I have both said to each other that we would not have had the same amazing experience if not for him. Thomas has a degree in Wildlife studies and is incredibly knowledgable. He taught us SO MUCH about the animals-their lifestyle (hunting, dominance, mating, feeding, etc), about the local tribes, the history of the land and how it's changing. He answered every question we had..and we had A LOT haha. He was a great driver, navigating the often difficult terrain. And the jeep was very comfortable....we spent A LOT of time in there and we never felt sore or uncomfortable. We never had any issues with the vehicle like some other reviews stated. Even though we were mentally prepared for things to go awry (a must have mindset anytime you travel), everything went according to plan. It was obvious that Thomas wanted to give us the best experience. We truly feel like we left with a new friend. Antoni kindly checked in with us a few times to ensure our trip was going well. At the very end of our trip Antoni and the owners made a special stop at the airport to bid us farewell which was so kind. Our connecting flight made us a little late and we had mere seconds to say our goodbyes and thank you's to them. They even gifted us a few souvenirs which again...this team truly goes above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do a Safari in Kenya. Thank you so much to Thomas, Antoni and the entire Dextrip team. You guys are amazing!

I recently travelled for a safari adventure in November through Dextrip Safaris Limited, together with my family visiting from California, USA, and I must say—this company exceeded every expectation we had.
To be honest, before booking, I had a bit of hesitation because I had come across one negative review from a past client. However, after speaking with their agent, Antony, who confidently assured me that Dextrip would do everything possible to make our holiday memorable, I decided to give them a chance. I am truly glad I trusted them.
Even though Dextrip is a relatively small company, they proved that they are capable, reliable, and fully equipped to handle groups of all sizes. The level of professionalism we experienced from the moment we started planning to the end of our safari was outstanding.
Our guide, Tom, was the highlight of the entire journey. He is incredibly knowledgeable, easygoing, friendly, and very professional. His experience and passion for wildlife made every game drive special. He ensured we were comfortable, safe, and well-informed throughout, and he made our family feel completely at home.
From the well-arranged logistics, to the smooth communication, to the overall warmth and personal attention—Dextrip Safaris truly delivered an unforgettable safari experience.

All-rounder expert - Stanley really knows what he does.
The communication was easy and always fast, what we really appreciated.
We booked all the add ons and had a tough time line, but it was worth it. We had an adventurous time, with the group and our amazing guide Stanley. He knew exactly where to go and where to spot all the animals. We couldn't have a better tour guide than him.
All the accommodations were well chosen. They were a dream and good selected.

Disappointing Experience with Dextrip Safaris – Would Not Recommend
Our recent family safari to Maasai Mara had its memorable moments, especially thanks to our ranger, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and clearly committed to making the most out of our time in the park. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs, and we truly appreciated his efforts.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Dextrip Safaris, the company that managed our trip. Despite having a confirmed written agreement for game drives on all three days of our safari, the third day was abruptly cancelled by the company, with the justification being the increase in park ticket prices. This change was not communicated in a transparent or timely manner, and we were left feeling disappointed and misled.
On the second day, our itinerary stated a full-day game drive, yet we were taken out of the park by 3 PM to visit a Maasai village—an activity we had not requested and were not interested in. This caused us to miss the late afternoon hours (4–6 PM), a peak time for wildlife activity in the reserve.
Additionally, the vehicle had flat tires three times in just two days. While we were patient and understanding about these delays, expecting such things can happen in remote areas, it made the lack of honesty and flexibility from the company even more frustrating.
What troubled us the most was the lack of responsibility and push for silence. We received several calls and WhatsApp messages from Dextrip Safaris urging us not to leave a negative review. But we feel it's important to be honest so that other travelers can make informed decisions.
In summary, while the Maasai Mara is breathtaking and our ranger was fantastic, our overall experience with Dextrip Safaris was far from smooth. We felt scammed, unheard, and disrespected. Sadly, I do not recommend this company and would advise others to book through a more reliable operator.

Please know that we did our utmost to arrange a Maasai village visit and included additional activities as a gesture of goodwill, which you accepted before the trip began. We are also sorry for the punctures; this do happen because of the rough terrain deep in the forests of the Maasai Mara. That's why our vehicles are fitted with two spare wheels to ensure that the safari continues. Kindly not that game drives have expiry time set by the government and we are bound by this directive, any additional game drive require additional payment to the park directly. This could have been an overlook on your side, but we are sorry for that. We strive to meet our clients' standards and remain honest. Thanks for your feedback

Very nice experience with a guide at the top of the top!
The Dextrip Safari team was able to meet our expectations, despite our somewhat tight budget everything was very good! They are very accommodating and attentive. The only small downside is the misunderstanding during the settlement, but everything worked out! We made an extraordinary safari with a great guide (Thank you Steve)! I recommend

It was awesome !
We booked a 2-day safari and thanks to our guide Steve who was a superb person, he took great care of us to ensure that our experience went as smoothly as possible. We were able to see all the animals in Amboseli with lots of interesting anecdotes! We were even allowed to try out Maasai medicines, as one of us was ill.
It was a dream come true, and we'll be leaving with lots of memories. We highly recommend it. Asante sana Steve!

We had an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya, visiting Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West.
Our driver, Cina, is truly the absolute number one! With his 21 years of experience, you can immediately see that he knows every single corner of these parks. He took us to incredible places and gave us the chance to see lions early in the morning – twice we were the very first car in the park to spot them, before anyone else arrived.
The lodges were very nice – not top luxury, but still comfortable and charming. The agency handled things fairly well overall, although we were asked to make part of the payment in cash: an initial deposit with bank transfer/credit card, and then quite a big amount we had to withdraw in cash for the balance. Apart from this, everything went smoothly.
This safari was a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I especially want to thank Cina, our driver – without him, it wouldn’t have been the same. Truly the best!
