Absolutely the best!
At first when we tried to book a safari tour it was overwhelming because of the large amount of companies but once we got in contact with Mariam at Simbaland we knew that we wanted to go with them since she was so patient and friendly. We booked a 5 day safari, 1 day in Arusha, 1 day in Mto Wa Mbo and 1 day in Materuni waterfall/hot springs. Though some small issues we would go with Simbaland again and again. We met a lot of people along the way that also had some issues with their company so it seems quite common, but the difference was how the companies solved it. Other people told us that they were sent around talking to different people in one company and had different guides everyday. With Simbaland we had direct contact with Mariam that solved everything quick and was very helpful. We also had the same guide, Ali, for the whole safari of 5 days, and he was amazing! It’s only thanks to him we got to see the big five. While other jeeps followed each other in a line, Ali went the opposite direction and showed us the true savannah. Our highest recommendation is not to miss out at least one day at Mto Wa Mbu, we learned so much and it was an incredible experience to meet locals and to visit the Masai. Our guide in Mto Wa Mbu, Baraka, is born and raised there and are connected to the Mto Wa Mbu cultural tourism program. That means that the money from the tourism goes to the village and provides the locals with tap water. He was so friendly and absolutely the best! Our day for Materuni waterfall with the coffee tour was as well so so so good, our guide Owen, had so much knowledge and took us to the places before it got overcrowded.
To summarise, we are so blown away with this experience and we are so happy that we choosed Simbaland! It was worth every penny!

Once in a lifetime magical experience with Simbaland!
Simbaland was the perfect choice for our honeymoon safari experience in Tanzania! It was our first time planning a trip to that side of the world and our tour coordinator - Heavenlight could not have been more helpful! She explained all options and cleared all doubts patiently, and made the booking process seamless. After arriving in Tanzania, we got everything that was discussed and beyond. From airport pickup to daily meals and the safari itself, everything was perfect with our guide Ali. Saw more lions than we could count! 100% recommend booking with Simbaland for a truly magical experience! We will be back :)

Experience driver for any terrain is key to a safe safari experience!
Our driver was very experienced he knew everyone and the ways around the roads and parks. We had a safe driving experience with Penda who has 16 years experience as a guide. You can ask him anything and he will have your answers but not too chatty at the same time which we appreciated during our long rides. Sometimes you just want to pass out and sleep or watch your shows with the headphones on right?
Penda actively looked for animals through the game drives. He never pushed to finish, rather the opposite. Most of the time we told him we can finish. He just wanted to make sure we saw a lot each day! He has killer eye sights too so follow what he says he sees and you’ll see the furthest thing. You can rely on him in everything from knowing the directions of the parks, knowledge of the animals, to how to maneuver the roads and keeping us and the car safe as we saw a lot of other Safari jeeps break down on the sides of the roads. He seems extremely helpful to others as well which shows the close knit good network of guides in this Safari community, always helping each other! I wasn’t worried at all because I knew others would help us too if our car broke down. We finished our 4 days in one piece and he accommodated us to the airport which we had a tight schedule to catch and safely arriving and sending us off.
From communication to then settling with the lodging that I wanted in the end, there must have been tons of adjustments and revisions the team had to do for me. I appreciate it very much! Thank you Mariam and her team and everyone who had the biggest smiles to greet us on Xmas day! Very hardworking team.
Even though we had previous Safari experiences in other African countries, this was an unforgettable experience. Simbaland made a lot of flexibility for us and Penda made us a pleasant journey. Thank you and highly recommend !

Awesome safari guide
We are writing to wholeheartedly recommend John Menri, a safari driver and guide with Simbaland Magic Tours. John was an exceptional part of our safari experience, and his professionalism, knowledge, and calm demeanor made our time in the bush truly unforgettable and ‘the trip of a lifetime.’
From the moment we set out each day, John demonstrated remarkable wildlife knowledge and tracking skills. He consistently anticipated animal movements, read tracks with precision, and knew exactly where to position the vehicle to give us the best—and safest—viewing and photo taking opportunities. Thanks to his expertise, we saw wildlife encounters we would have otherwise missed, including several animals that are notoriously difficult to find. Example: one time we pulled over slowly while other safari vehicles whizzed by, and John pointed out quietly - "There's a leopard in that tree. See? There."
John was also incredibly adaptable. He listened closely to our interests and priorities for each outing and tailored our drives accordingly. Whether we wanted to focus on predators, birdlife, or simply enjoy a slower, more scenic route, he made sure the experience matched our expectations while still maximizing our chances for memorable sightings.
Perhaps most importantly, John maintained a calm, attentive, and friendly presence throughout our journey. He's an interesting, intelligent person. When you spend several days in a bouncy, dusty vehicle with someone it helps that they are someone you can have an interesting conversation with.

Tanzanian unforgettable safari
In short: We loved the whole thing! Six of us took part in the four-day safari tour.
In detail: From the first contact, the staff were very helpful. We left Zanzibar to Arusha, then we went to the foot of Kilimanjaro to the Materuni waterfall and learned about the secrets of coffee production/making. The next day, we went to Serengeti National Park, where we spent one night, then continued on to Ngorongoro Crater, where we also spent one night, followed by a half-day Ngorongoro safari, then we went back to the airport and returned to Zanzibar.
James, our driver and tour guide, is a very experienced professional. He is very nice, helpful, and has a lot knowledge of wildlife.
We can recommend Simbaland Magic Tours with complete confidence. They were able to help with everything: airport transfers, purchasing plane tickets and organizing the entire safari.

Maria is a really good person with patient, caring and professional, we really love her!
We were lucky enough to work with a very professional guide. He knows all the animals, even many kinds of birds, I was very shocked. And he is very proffessional, he always thhe first one wake up and the latest one sleep, he eat very less but talk with us more.He can sense everyone's mood and will play jokes on you when you are tired.
Beyound his leading, we are really enjoy this travel and feeling more.
