Solo traveller - experience of a lifetime!
5/5

I did a 3-night, 4-day safari with Baby Bird Safari as a female solo traveller, and honestly… it was unreal from start to finish.

From the very beginning, Chris was excellent with communication during the booking process; super clear, friendly, and professional. Payment was easy too: half deposit upfront, half cash on the first day, which felt very straightforward.

The trip itself felt like I’d visited three different countries in one safari. Amboseli National Park was absolutely unreal; the landscapes and wildlife were next-level and something I’ll never forget.

One of the biggest highlights was staying in Tsavo West, where the lodge actually left meat out for leopards. Watching them come so close in the wild was insane; something I never imagined experiencing like that.

The lodge in Ngutuni was outstanding and right next to a watering hole, so you could sit back and watch animals come and go. It felt peaceful, wild, and special all at once.

As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe the entire time. There was lots of laughter, cracking jokes, sharing music, and learning about different cultures; it felt relaxed, fun, and genuine.

Truly an unreal experience, and I’m so grateful for it.
Thank you so much, Baby Bird Safari. I’d recommend this tour to anyone without hesitation!

An Amazing Experience
4/5

Overall, our experience with baby bird tours was great. Our driver and guide for the day, Festus, arrived on time and was a fantastic driver. We felt safe the whole time despite some pretty intense traffic and roads 😄.

Throughout the drive to the park and within the park, he offered great information and answered all our questions.

The park itself is an absolute must visit, truly magnificent

The only negative feedback I have is the game drive time ends up being less than advertised, after lunch, we pretty much took a direct route out of the park and it didn't seem there was any intention to really look for animals.

But we arrived back in time and overall had a fantastic day, thank you!

Amazing safari experience with really a terrible airport transfer.
4/5

The Tsavo East Safari experience was amazing. Honestly one of the best experiences in our lifes. The freelance safari driver was really good and profesional.
The Safari 10/10
Voi Wildlife Lodge hotel at the safari was good as well. Unfortunately no A/C in the room and it was really hot. The food was nice. The best part of this Lodge was the view - we could see many wild animals, including hippos!

The worst part of our trip was the transfer from the airport to Safari and then from safari to Diani.
The car we got picked up by, was very old and could barely reach the speed of 70km/h. We were overtaken by trucks… The journey that was supposed to take 3h according to google maps, took us 4h.
On the was from Safari to Diani, the car broke down… which wasnt surprising at all. We waited 1h for some other guys to try and fix it, but without success. Our guide eventually paid the guys to take us to Diani with their car, which was significantly better.
But unfortunately, the second car broke down as well! This time we managed to get to some mechanic and it was done after around 15 minutes.
Very exhausting and unpleasant journey. This time instead od 3h 30’ - it took us 5h.

Better ask about the car, before booking!

2 days jeep safari
5/5

Very good value for the money. Guys were super punctual and so friendly with us. Always kept us updated on their plans and happy to go extra mile to show us all animals. The diver was very polite and made us feel safe while driving us around. All in all great experience and everything included as agreed. Thank You Baby Bird

Perfect experience
5/5

My boyfriend and I chose Baby Birds for a two-day safari, and it was superb! We were even lucky enough to see a lion. Everything was on time, the car was clean, and the driver was very friendly. The lodge in the bush had a beautiful view.

Great 2 day safari with good communication and guides
5/5

From my first enquiry the communication from Chris great. The value offered was good and both Chris and China provided a professional and knowledgeable 2 day adventure for my daughter and I. We were delighted to see a variety of animals over the 2 days, and they went out their way to ensure that we got every opportunity to see as much as we could. The approach was focused on offering a strong experience without being intrusive or overbearing. We did a visit to a Masai village but didn’t feel that it offered value and left feeling under pressure to buy or offer further contributions so wouldn’t recommend that option.
Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Baby Bird as they offered value, good choice and an enjoyable experience with an amazing talent of spotting animals from afar or in situations which we would never have seen!

Excellent service provided by experienced guides!
5/5

We booked a two-day safari in Tsavo East National Park and it was an unbelievable experience. Everything started with excellent communication with the organizer over WhatsApp, where we easily agreed on all the pick-up details. The car arrived on time on the first day, and together with our guides, Chris and Omar, we set off towards the national park.

On the way, there was a stop for a bathroom break and to buy souvenirs. My only minor complaint is that, according to the safari instructions, we were supposed to stop somewhere else - this correct stop happened only on the way back, and it was much better.

The safari itself was fantastic; we saw more animals than I expected. The guides were extremely experienced, and it was clear they had trained eyes for spotting wildlife. Unlike other vehicles, we stopped very often, which was amazing and gave us plenty of time to observe and photograph every animal properly. Overall, it felt like the guides genuinely tried to make the entire safari an unforgettable experience for us.

The accommodation was also great and in an excellent location. The only downside was that water was not included in the price, even though I believe the safari instructions mentioned it would be. On the other hand, unlimited drinking water was always available in the vehicle itself.

Lastly, I want to mention that the lower price compared to competitors is mainly due to the car not being as comfortable as those from other tour operators. However, considering the money saved and, above all, the experience itself, it was absolutely worth it.

Overall, I rate this safari 10/10 and would definitely recommend Baby Bird Tours to everyone! Thank you so much for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
