Safari Beyond All Expectations
Our safari in Tanzania with Zara Tours turned out to be an exceptional experience from start to finish. When we landed, Shaban was already waiting at the airport and immediately made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Throughout the journey, his sharp eye and strong wildlife knowledge led to unforgettable sightings across Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater.
During the game drives, we encountered an impressive variety of animals, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and hyenas roaming the Serengeti plains. Spotting the rhinos in Ngorongoro was truly special and became one of the most memorable moments of the entire trip.
Before our arrival, Zayina played a key role in organizing all the details. Even with the added complexity of traveling during the pandemic, the planning process was smooth thanks to his clear communication and thorough guidance on Tanzania’s entry requirements.
The accommodations surpassed our expectations and were comfortable, well located, and consistently served excellent meals.
Overall, Zara Tours delivered a safari experience that went beyond what we had hoped for, and I would confidently recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to Zara Tours and our exceptional guide Kitale for an unforgettable Tanzanian adventure. From start to finish, communication with Zara was seamless. Kitale truly went above and beyond, ensuring we felt at ease and that we spotted all the wildlife we were hoping to see. The itinerary was perfectly organized, beginning with Lake Manyara National Park, followed by Serengeti, and concluding at Ngorongoro Crater. Kitale’s expertise was evident, as he had a well-informed answer for every question. The accommodations, especially the luxurious tented camps like the Serengeti Wildebeest Camp, were outstanding. Safari Exceeded All Our Expectations
We couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience with Zach leading the way. Seeing the wildebeest migration moving toward the Ndutu calving area was unforgettable, and the sheer variety and number of animals we encountered exceeded our expectations. Zach’s commitment truly set him apart—he actively coordinated with fellow guides, followed real-time sightings, and adjusted plans on the fly. Because of his focus and persistence, we consistently found ourselves in prime locations for remarkable wildlife viewing.

An Incredible Kilimanjaro Adventure Experience
My Kilimanjaro climb was an incredibly rewarding and well managed experience, made possible by the outstanding team at Zara Tours led by senior guide Joshua. Their professionalism and care were clear throughout the entire journey.
Everything was thoughtfully organized, from the high quality tents and dependable rental equipment to the consistently good meals. The crew placed a strong focus on our wellbeing with regular health checks and attentive support, which gave us real peace of mind. Waking up each morning to tea or coffee served in our tents was a simple but very welcome touch.
The meals prepared by Mushi were flavorful and nourishing, keeping us energized throughout the climb. During the summit push, the guides and porters lifted our spirits with songs and constant encouragement, creating a warm and motivating atmosphere that felt more like a family than a tour group.
It is obvious that every team member genuinely cares about delivering a great experience. I would happily recommend Zara Tours to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro.

A Magical Trip Full of Wonderful Memories
We were swept away by the magic of our safari in Tanzania. From the very beginning it felt special, thanks in large part to our wonderful guide and driver Mushi, whose knowledge, care and passion turned every day into something extraordinary. Encountering such a rich array of wildlife, including the all the big 5 roaming freely in the wild, was nothing short of breathtaking 😊
Our stay at the Zara Tours properties elevated the experience even further. Each lodge was set in a spectacular location, offering a sense of comfort and elegance that blended perfectly with the surrounding nature. The accommodation like the Serengeti Safari Lodge and Highview Hotel were indulgent, the meals consistently delicious, and the hospitality heartfelt and genuine. Our 7-day honeymoon was a dream come true
Our 7-day honeymoon was a dream come true, full of unforgettable wildlife encounters. From the moment we landed, the adventure began. Our game drives took us through the stunning landscapes of Lake Manyara, where we were greeted by herds of giraffes and zebras grazing peacefully by the water’s edge. The vibrant birdlife there was a photographer's paradise, with flocks of flamingos painting the lake pink.
But the Serengeti scene was wow!! Our game drives took us deep into the heart of the savanna, and we were lucky enough to witness the raw beauty of nature. From lions lounging in the shade to cheetahs gracefully sprinting across the plains and huge wildebeest herds migrating to their calving site, every turn seemed to bring a new spectacle. The highlight, though, was waking up to elephants right outside our tent, their massive silhouettes moving through the morning mist. It was a breathtaking moment that felt like we were living in a wildlife documentary.
One of the most surreal experiences was our hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. We floated silently above herds of wildebeest and gazelles, watching the sun rise over the endless horizon. The view was like something out of a dream.
Then we ventured to the Ngorongoro Crater, where the wildlife seemed to come from every direction. We saw rhinos, buffalo, and more lions than we could count. The crater's natural beauty and its abundance of wildlife made it feel like we had stepped into another world, where the animals ruled the land and we were just lucky to witness their world. Every game drive brought new thrills, and every animal encounter felt like a privilege.

A phenomenal Safari Adventure
Our experience with Zara Tours began years ago with a Kilimanjaro climb, which left a strong impression and brought us back again. This safari journey proved just as impressive. Zayina handled the planning with care and professionalism, ensuring everything flowed effortlessly. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater and were rewarded with stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Tarimo was an excellent guide whose knowledge and instincts led to remarkable game drives. The accommodations were comfortable, well positioned and perfect for unwinding after each day. Great experience
Booked 9 day safari with Zara via safaribookings.com. Absolutely great experience. Promptly picked up from Arusha airport. Our hotel in Arusha was Gold crest suites. Excellent hotel and service. Visited Tarangiri, Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Lake Maynard, lake essyo etc. Absolutely enjoyed our tour, these national parks are most beautiful places. Our guide cum driver Ibrahim was an excellent skillful driver. He knows exactly how to spot animals in every park. He was tremendously helpful and treated us very well. Traveling with such a caring person made our trip memorable. Definitely recommend Zara tours to everyone. Ask for Ibrahim.

A once-in-a-lifetime adventure 🏔️
Climbing Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route with our guides, Clinton and Khatib from Zara Tanzania Adventures, was an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime adventure 🏔️. The journey took us across dramatic terrain, from dense rainforest to steep, rocky alpine trails, and every day felt like a new challenge. Despite the tough conditions, the entire team stayed upbeat, supportive, and full of positive energy, turning each campsite into a place of laughter and motivation. Clinton’s expert knowledge and constant care helped us push through the high altitude and freezing nights, making us feel safe and confident at every step. The excellent food prepared by Mushi, the quality equipment, and the outstanding level of care kept us strong and focused 💪. Without Clinton’s leadership and the team’s dedication, reaching Uhuru Peak would not have been possible for us.

An unforgettable adventure in Tanzania! * Safari + Kilimanjaro*
I organized this trip for our group of six Swiss climbers and was also part of the team. Choosing a Moshi based fully Tanzanian company was important to us and Zara Tours exceeded our expectations from the first day.
We climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route with an outstanding team led by our guide Yesse. The weather was excellent with clear days while the nights were cold and windy. Small comforts like coffee brought to our tents great food at every meal and a portable toilet made a big difference. Step by step pole pole we moved from camp to camp and all of us successfully reached Uhuru Peak via Stella Point.
After the climb we enjoyed a five day safari. We saw large herds of elephants in Tarangire and many lions buffalo a cheetah and a leopard in Serengeti Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The lodges and tented camp were excellent.
Our safari guide Suleiman spoke excellent German and together with our driver Festus was extremely knowledgeable and always one step ahead which allowed us to witness unforgettable wildlife moments. Isdory was always available and handled everything perfectly.
We could not have chosen a better team. Thank you very much Zara Tours!
