An unforgettable adventure in Tanzania! * Safari + Kilimanjaro*
I organized this trip for our group of six Swiss climbers and was also part of the team. Choosing a Moshi based fully Tanzanian company was important to us and Zara Tours exceeded our expectations from the first day.
We climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route with an outstanding team led by our guide Yesse. The weather was excellent with clear days while the nights were cold and windy. Small comforts like coffee brought to our tents great food at every meal and a portable toilet made a big difference. Step by step pole pole we moved from camp to camp and all of us successfully reached Uhuru Peak via Stella Point.
After the climb we enjoyed a five day safari. We saw large herds of elephants in Tarangire and many lions buffalo a cheetah and a leopard in Serengeti Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The lodges and tented camp were excellent.
Our safari guide Suleiman spoke excellent German and together with our driver Festus was extremely knowledgeable and always one step ahead which allowed us to witness unforgettable wildlife moments. Isdory was always available and handled everything perfectly.
We could not have chosen a better team. Thank you very much Zara Tours!

Highly recommend Zara Tanzania, especially for female solo travelers
As a female solo traveler, joining a small group on the 7 day Machame Route with Zara Tanzania was an incredible Kilimanjaro experience 😊 I was also provided with my own solo tent, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the trek.
Our guides, Lema and Bakari, were outstanding, constantly motivating us, monitoring our health, and keeping us safe. The climb was challenging with tough terrain, cold nights, and the effects of altitude, but the extra acclimatization day made a real difference The food was far better than expected, and reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise was unforgettable.
From planning to summit, everything ran smoothly. Isdory was responsive and helpful during the planning process, and the overall value for money was excellent 😊 I would highly recommend Zara Tanzania, especially for female solo travelers.

Excellent organized safari and good quality of camps and hotel.
My husband and I have had such a fantastic 6 days safari in Tanzania (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara) Everything was perfectly organized and we were taken good care of by our experienced guide Ibrahim as from he met us at the airport in Kilimanjaro until we left for Zanzibar. We have seen more of the wildlife, animals and birds than we could ever dream of. Ibrahim had such a good knowledge of the wildlife, the nature and history and he could answer to all our questions. He had many interesting and fun stories to tell us, so we laughed a lot. He is a good photographer and shared his photo’s with us as, so we could focus on the animals. Thanks a lot! 😊

We highly recommend Zara Tours and Tarimo
We had an amazing experience with Zara Tours on our weeklong safari in Tanzania! As this was our first-time in Tanzania, we weren’t sure what to expect, but the trip blew us away. From the well-organized itinerary to the luxurious accommodations, everything was perfectly arranged. The food was excellent, and the wildlife sightings were absolutely unforgettable.
A special thanks to our guide, Tarimo. His deep knowledge of the animals and the landscape made all the difference. He was an excellent driver, getting us to all the best spots to see Africa’s Big Five. He was also incredibly helpful, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout the trip.
The accommodations were better than we ever imagined, especially the Serengeti Wild Camp. Staying in the middle of the park was an incredible experience, combining the luxury of a high-end lodge with the raw beauty of nature all around us.
We highly recommend Zara Tours and Tarimo for anyone looking to experience the best of Tanzania’s wildlife. We’ll definitely be sharing our experience with family and friends!

Unforgettable from start to finish!
An absolutely incredible 8-day December safari with Zara Tours! Every day exceeded expectations, from the stunning landscapes and flamingos of Lake Manyara to the fascinating Olduvai Gorge Museum. The Serengeti delivered nonstop wildlife action, and the Ngorongoro Crater was simply breathtaking. The biking adventure in Karatu, Moshi coffee tour, and the beautiful Materuni waterfalls added amazing cultural touches. Accommodations at Springlands, Highview, Serengeti Safari Lodge, and Ngorongoro Safari Lodge were comfortable and perfectly located. Exceptionally well organized, safe, and unforgettable from start to finish!

Highly Recommended Crew For Kilimanjaro
We had a fantastic Kilimanjaro trekking experience! We encountered a wide range of weather conditions along the way ranging from warm sunshine to icy winds near the summit, and it was incredible to walk through such diverse vegetation, from lush rainforest to alpine desert.
Lema and Musa were outstanding guides, always professional, attentive, and motivating. The entire crew was exceptionally friendly and supportive, the organization ran flawlessly, and the food was excellent throughout. Unforgettable Safari Adventure

7 Days of Adventure on Safari in Tanzania
Our 7 day family safari with Zara Tanzania Adventures was an amazing experience. Visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater was smooth and well coordinated. Our guide, Tarimo, was excellent, with strong knowledge of the parks and an impressive ability to spot wildlife that made each game drive memorable.
The trip was well organized with clear communication throughout. We enjoyed our stays at Springlands, Highview Hotel, Serengeti Wildebeest Camp, and Ikoma Wild Camp, all of which added to the overall experience. The food was consistently good.

It was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever!
The safari experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish and exceeded all our expectations. Our guide spoke excellent German and impressed us not only with his language skills, but also with his deep knowledge of the wildlife, landscapes, and local culture. He was always friendly, attentive, and passionate, which truly made the entire journey special.
Our driver was extremely careful and highly skilled, confidently navigating both the chaotic traffic on public roads and the challenging, rough tracks inside the national parks. Thanks to his experience and perfect positioning of the vehicle, we were able to observe a remarkable number of animals up close and enjoy countless breathtaking views and photo opportunities.
The accommodations throughout the trip were outstanding. Springlands Hotel was a very comfortable and welcoming place to start and end the journey, offering great service and a relaxing atmosphere. Staying at Ngorongoro Wild Camp was a unique experience, surrounded by nature and perfectly located near the crater, with delicious meals and a wonderful safari ambiance. Ikoma Wild Camp was equally impressive, combining comfort, excellent food, and an authentic wilderness feeling that made our stay truly memorable.
The food at all lodges was consistently excellent, with a great variety and high quality throughout the entire trip. Overall, everything was perfectly organized, and there is honestly nothing I would change about this safari. It was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever.

A Truly Remarkable Experience
As a UK couple on our first journey to Tanzania, our safari with Zara Tours was truly remarkable. From Moshi, Baraka’s skill and insight shaped every day, leading us through Lake Manyara’s flamingos, elephants and playful monkeys, peaceful lodges with sweeping views, and a moving visit with the Hadzabe people.
