Zara Tanzania Adventures gave me us unforgettable, supportive, and truly top-tier experience
I traveled to Tanzania in early May to attempt the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro with Zara Tanzania Adventures, and it was an unforgettable experience. We were welcomed at Kilimanjaro airport by Juma, who drove us to Springlands Hotel, a clean and comfortable base with great beds and an excellent breakfast.
The climb was challenging but incredibly rewarding. October meant fewer crowds, and although the weather changed constantly—hot, cold, wet, and dry—it made the mountain scenery even more beautiful. We enjoyed stunning views every day, from dramatic valleys and ridges to sweeping clouds and occasional glimpses of the snow-covered summit.
The support from the Zara team was exceptional. As a vegan, I was impressed by the fresh, delicious meals prepared daily, including plenty of fruits, vegetables, and hearty dishes that kept us energized. Our three guides—Yesse Lema, Jacksn, and Freddy—were outstanding. Their expertise, encouragement, and patience helped us through tough moments, including a challenging descent from the Lava Tower in heavy rain.
Zara Tanzania Adventures also provided top-class equipment, including sturdy tents, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and well-organized camps each night.
I highly recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures for their excellent service, reliable gear, great food, and warm, professional support throughout this memorable adventure.

Excellent from the beginning to the end
Thank’s to Zara Tours and Mr. Kimolo and his assistent Madiba and the porters, the chef and all the people that made our hiking to Uhuru Peak - the top of Africa to the best adventure ever!! Phenomenal Kilimanjaro Trekking
What an amazing week! I had the most incredible experience on the 8-day Lemosho trek with Zara Tanzania Adventures. Awesome Eight Days Trekking (Kilimanjaro -Lemosho)
We have been wanting to do Kilimanjaro for the longest time and this October we made our way to Tanzania for the dream trek. Reaching Kilimanjaro's summit was a challenging feat because of the cold, low oxygen and terrain but crew from Zara Tanzania made it all happen. They supported us with all the aspects ranging with climbing strategy and protocols, provided conditions that made our time comfortable by taking care of the food, lodgings, movement of equipment camp to camp and above all they took excellent care of us. I appreciate the efforts put in by guide Lema and his team. They were outstanding and friendly professionals who put our needs and safety first. I highly recommend going with Zara Tanzania as they are the best!

Awesome Support On Our Kilimanjaro Climbing Trip
Climbing Kilimanjaro was an incredible, life-changing, and rewarding adventure. Our hosts at Zara Tanzania Adventures handled everything, removing any stressful, unsafe, or emotionally draining moments from our trip. The crew was excellent, from the guides and porters to our cook, Stephen. They were all stand-up gentlemen who took our safety, comfort, and successful summit attempt seriously. They played a huge part in our successful summit. I also appreciate the excellent equipment provided, sufficient food and supplies, and we were blessed with good weather. We are happy to have chosen Zara because they are the best!

The Best Safari Experience in Tanzania
We have visited Tanzania twice before, and I can confidently say that our most recent trip with Zara Tanzania Adventures was the best yet. Everything was perfect, largely because Zayina, our travel designer from the operator, did an excellent job organizing every aspect of the trip. We visited four incredible national parks: Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater with our guide Joseph. He took us on amazing game drives that offered fantastic wildlife viewing, where we had close encounters with lions, elephants, and cheetahs, and also saw many other different animals including gazelles, zebras, warthogs, buffaloes, and wildebeest. The accommodations were thoughtfully chosen along the travel route and provided excellent spots to relax and rejuvenate. Joseph gave us an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for a long time, and I highly recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures.

Kilimanjaro Trekking
We returned to Tanzania for another adventures with Zara Tanzania and it was awesome as we had expected. Trekking Kilimanjaro is not easy but we were able to reach the summit for a number of reasons. To start with we were in great physical shape from the rigorous training we had done, we had a great crew supporting us and all the logistics were in place. We had a terrific time on that mountain with guide Lema taking the lead to ensure that we were safe and well supported at all times. I highly recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures for a job well done.

Wonderful Trekking Experience
It was an absolutely incredible experience on Kilimanjaro with two of my friends. We were supported by an outstanding team of three guides, nine porters, and a chef throughout our trek. They were friendly and caring, and thanks to them, we successfully reached the summit safely. They kept our spirits and morale high. I am very pleased with the efforts of our hosts on the mountain. Most impressive was the senior guide Julius, who was exceptional and a fantastic leader. I highly appreciate and recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures for their excellent work.

Highly Recommended
My friends and I summited Kilimanjaro and we did it using the Lemosho trail in 8 days. Our initial plan was to use 9 days, but the weather was good, and we had a great crew supporting us making it possible to get to the top and back in Moshi in that time. Our guides were the best! Saitoti was the leas assisted by Peter and Julius. Their experience and expertise was evident from the way they carried themselves and cared for us. They knew what to do at every juncture and we were well cared for, with close attention, regular health checks and lots of learning about trekking best practice. We also learnt do much about the history, geology and habitats of the mountain. The chef did an excellent job in the tough mountain conditions; we had great food and really enjoyed the trek. We owe the success to the wonderful guides from Zara Tanzania and the wonderful planning by the office team. They are highly recommended.

Unforgettable Kilimanjaro Trekking
We had an incredible Kilimanjaro trekking experience. The support team provided us with all the support we needed, and with their help, we reached the summit a day ahead of schedule thanks to the the outstanding support by our guides, Martin and Clinton. They kept us motivated the entire time. The food was restaurant-quality, far better than expected on a mountain, the equipment provided was of excellent quality.
I can't recommend them enough. Thank you all so much for an unforgettable experience!
