An exceptional tour operator, professional, friendly, and passionate, who made our safari an unforge
An unforgettable 4-day, 3-night safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater!
What an incredible experience! From the very beginning to the end, everything was absolutely perfect. We spent 4 unforgettable days exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, with incredible wildlife encounters at every turn.
A huge thank you to Joshua and his brother John for making this trip so special. Their professionalism, kindness, passion, and knowledge made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They were always attentive to our needs and did everything possible to make sure we had the best safari experience possible.
The Serengeti was simply magical, with amazing wildlife and stunning scenery, while the Ngorongoro Crater was truly breathtaking. Every day brought new discoveries and unforgettable memories. Seeing lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and so many other animals in their natural habitat was an experience we will never forget.
The organization was excellent, the communication was easy, and everything was handled with great care. We felt safe and well looked after throughout the entire trip. Joshua and John were not only excellent guides, but also wonderful people who made us feel comfortable from day one.
We also really appreciated their flexibility and their ability to adapt the safari to what we wanted to see and experience. Their knowledge of the parks and wildlife was impressive, and they always knew where to go to give us the best possible opportunities for wildlife sightings.
If you are looking for an authentic, unforgettable, and perfectly organized safari in Tanzania, we highly recommend Joshua and John. We could not have asked for a better experience and would happily choose them again without hesitation.
Thank you again, Joshua and John, for these incredible memories! We will never forget this adventure. π¦ππ

Just Incredible
We had an amazing 3 day safari with Sustainable Safari, and honestly everything was perfect from start to finish !
A special mention to our guide, Joshua, who was absolutely fantastic. He was really funny, kind and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole safari. He did everything he could to give us the best possible experience and to get us as close as possible to the animals while always respecting them. We had so many laughs with him during these three days, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
We were incredibly lucky to see so many amazing animals, including cheetahs and rhinos that came surprisingly close to our vehicle. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see a leopard, but that's part of the safari experience and we couldn't complain considering everything else we were lucky enough to see !
Another special mention for the food, which was honestly incredible. The portions were HUGE and everything was delicious. We definitely didn't expect to eat that well during a safari !
Overall, we highly recommend Sustainable Safari. The organization, the wildlife sightings, the food and especially Joshua made these three days truly unforgettable. We would absolutely do it again !

Great safari and guide!!!
Sustainable Safari Tours is a fantastic organization. The owner, Joshua, is easy to reach and speaks excellent English; we had very pleasant communication while planning the safari beforehand. He is very flexible. Our itinerary included 3 days in the Serengeti, 1 day at Lake Manyara, 1 day in Tarangire, and a day in the Ngorongoro Crater.
We paid 4,500 euros, including accommodation and meals. We stayed in luxury tents equipped with showers, toilets, and comfortable beds.
We were lucky enough to go out with Joshua himself. What an amazing ranger and driver he is! He knows exactly how to spot the wildlife. In the Serengeti, we went on safari from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We really wanted to see the migration and the river crossing, and Joshua made sure we got thereβit was truly amazing!
He is Maasai himself. It is incredibly special to hear firsthand stories about the traditions, way of life, and customs of his village. It was also wonderful to see how the Maasai boys look up to him and are so impressed by him.
We had a truly AMAZING safari!! Thank you, Joshua! π β€οΈ

Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, communicative and answered all my questions and concerns.
We went to Tanzania during the calving season. We started in Arusha for 2 nights, then to Tarangire Natl Park for the day where we saw a little but of everything, the monkeys at lunch were definitely a highlight (watch out for your bananas!) then we made our way to Lake Manyara and stayed at Manyaraβs Secret for one night, we stayed in a beautiful villa on the lake. Next we headed to the Ndutu area in the southern serengeti. Joshua took us through the most amazing countryside to get there. The landscape was beautiful and we were able to see a family of baboons along the way. Once at the serengeti we stayed for 3 nights at wildlands migration camp, our tents were comfty but the hospitality and service was great! The chef made the best food for us every night and we really enjoyed sleeping in the serengeti hearing the sounds of the wildlife every night. Every day out on safari would be different we would see packs of lions, leopards, elephants, wilderbeasts grazing on plains as far as the eye can see. The last day was spent at the Ngorongoro Crater, which is absolutely stunning. We then headed back to Arusha for ournflight to Zanzibar for 5 days at the Melia Zanzibar, which was also great. Sustainable safari tours was the perfect company for us, small locally owned by a Tanzanian and Joshua did not disappoint he took exceptional care of us, and helped make our experience memorable while giving our party of 6 personable service from the the first time I contacted him to departure. I canβt recommend this company enough.

unforgetable moments with special persons
had a wonderful time with Joshua. Six days in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti. My heart and soul were filled anew each day. I saw so many animals and was able to observe them in peace. The lodges where I stayed were all excellent choices, and I felt very comfortable. This is especially important for me as a solo traveler. I can highly recommend Joshua and Sustainable Safari Tour, particularly for solo travelers.

An unforgettable safari with memories that will last a lifetime!
I had the most incredible, unforgettable 15-day safari in Tanzania with Sustainable Safari Tours. I am a frequent traveler to Africa and have been on game drives more than a hundred times. I have had many once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounters in different parts of Africa, so I always set my expectations high whenever I return for game drives. Thanks to my guide Joshua, who is also the founder of the company, the safari itself and every aspect of the experience exceeded all my expectations. He was a huge part of what made my trip truly memorable and unforgettable.
I looked at several different tour operators but ultimately decided to go with Sustainable Safari Tours because they are a local Tanzanian business, they replied quickly and clearly, and they put together an ideal safari tailored exactly to what I wanted. From the very beginning, I was able to communicate directly with Joshua, the guide and owner of the company, and ask many questions about wildlife, accommodations, and even routes within the national parks. This level of direct communication really stood out compared to other tour operators. Joshua is not just a sales representative but also a guide who knows all the parks like the back of his hand. I must have sent countless emails with requests about accommodations, routes, and other details, and he always responded kindly and promptly. I was planning to visit Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti (eastern, central, and southern), and Ngorongoro in a specific order and asked other tour operators if it was possible. They all said βyes,β but Joshua was the only one who gave honest advice and suggested the best order to visit these places. That was when he truly earned my trust, and I decided to go with Sustainable Safari Tours. I cannot thank Joshua enough. He is the best guide and tour operator I could have ever asked for.
Once I was on safari, the experience was pure magic. Joshua was professional, energetic, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. I was traveling solo, but he took excellent care of me and made sure I always felt safe and comfortable. His sense of humor helped me relax from day one. He is extremely considerate of his clients while also being very respectful of the parks and the animals. He was outstanding in every way. He knew every animal, could spot wildlife incredibly quickly, and always positioned the vehicle perfectly for amazing views and ideal photo opportunities. Joshua is Maasai and deeply committed to sustainable tourism practices, working closely with Maasai communities. I had the privilege of asking many questions and learning about Maasai culture and traditions, which made the experience even more meaningful.
This was by far the most amazing trip I have ever taken, and I truly could not have had a better experience. I cannot recommend Sustainable Safari Tours highly enough if you are looking for a professional, friendly, and locally knowledgeable tour operator.

An Exceptional Safari Experience with Sustainable Safaris Tanzania
We had the rare privilege of travelling with Sustainable Safaris Tanzania and its owner and guide, Joshua Mollell, not onceβbut twiceβand both safaris were truly exceptional.
I first experienced Tanzania with Joshua in 2024, travelling with my daughter. The journey was so meaningful, insightful, and beautifully curated that I returned again in 2025, this time with my husband. Few experiences stand the test of time the way these safaris didβeach trip felt just as special, enriching, and thoughtfully designed as the first.
Joshua is Maasai, and his connection to the land, wildlife, and culture is deeply rooted and immediately apparent. His knowledge of the animals and birds of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire (including Lake Tarangire) is extraordinary. From tracking wildlife and interpreting animal behaviour to identifying birds by sight and sound, his understanding goes far beyond a guidebookβit comes from lived experience and genuine respect for the environment.
What truly sets Joshua apart is his commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism. Safaris are conducted with care, patience, and reverence for the land. Wildlife encounters never feel rushed or intrusive, and there is a strong emphasis on conservation, education, and cultural respect.
Joshua is also an exceptional hostβcalm, warm, and deeply attentive. He made both trips feel personal and safe, tailoring the experience to our interests while allowing space for quiet moments of awe. Whether travelling with my daughter or with my husband, he created an atmosphere that was welcoming, enriching, and deeply memorable.
These were not simply safarisβthey were transformational experiences, guided by someone who truly understands Tanzania in all its richness and complexity.
If you are seeking a safari that is authentic, ethical, immersive, and unforgettable, I cannot recommend Sustainable Safaris Tanzania and Joshua Mollell highly enough.

We recently returned from our honeymoon in Tanzania, following a beautiful itinerary from the mainland to Zanzibar. We had an incredibly satisfying 6-day, 5-night safari tour organized by Sustainable Safari Tours!
Our guide, Joshua, who introduced himself as the young CEO of a start-up, was more than just a guide; he was a true guardian who deeply loved the safari, embodying the "Sustainable" title better than anyone. Hailing from the Maasai tribe, he was a humble and righteous person who deeply respected local culture as an integral part of the safari experience and showed genuine gratitude for being able to witness the great wilderness. A man to learn a lot from for sureπ
Furthermore, Joshua is known among other safari guides as an absolute ace due to his outstanding skills. Thanks to his exceptional itinerary coordination, we were able to witness not only the Big 5 but also "The Great Migration (The Great Crossing)"!
The value for money was also excellent. We negotiated the quote directly with Joshua several times via WhatsApp from Korea and secured the most reasonable price compared to other companies. The local accommodations and meals all met our expectations and were very satisfying!
If you are planning a safari tour in Tanzania, I highly recommend booking with Sustainable Safari Tours and experiencing it with Joshua. He is no doubt the best guide with maximum satisfaction guaranteedππ»ππ»
