Kind and gentle
The tour operator is reliable and very kind but accomodation and services received from lodges are different from marketing strategy and website advertiment resulting in not at the same level and difference resulting in not fair money payment

Warm hospitality
It was our first trip to Rwanda, and it turned out to be absolutely wonderful.
We were able to enjoy it perfectly without any worries.
For the gorilla trakking in Volcanoes National Park, our guide thoughtfully try to arrange for us to be placed in a group with a shorter and less demanding hike. It made us feel very reassured. Spending an hour up close with a large gorilla family, including two baby gorillas, is an experience we will never forget for the rest of our life.
On safari in Akagera National Park, we encountered surprisingly many numbers of animals such as elephants, impalas, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, topis, baboons, warthogs and more. We also saw two female lions and even a male lion walking toward us!
The rangers and our guide worked incredibly hard to find the animals for us. It was truly a dream come true and an unforgettable experience.
ARC is a very trustworthy travel company, keeping in close contact with us even before the trip. They always listened to our wishes and our requests.
Our guide, Hilary-san was knowledgeable, physically strong, and very thoughtful person. We are truly grateful that we met him.
We are so glad we found ARC. They made our dream of seeing gorillas come true. We hope many people will have such incredible experiences.

The ideal organisation for our trip around Uganda!!!
In July 2025 my 2 teenage kids and me were travelling to Uganda! What an experience!!! As soon as we got in touch with African Runners Company it was a great pleasure to start to organise our trip with the most sympatic and helpful Patience from the ARC-office in Kampala.
The proposed tour was afterall the perfect mixture of adventure, sightseeing and relaxing.
Driving through Uganda in a huge Toyota Landcruiser, George our Guide and Driver showed us all the hidden gems of this amazing country.

Our journey with ARC to Jinja, Kanungu, and Kampala was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to our amazing driver Ali. From the very start, he showed the utmost professionalism, kindness, and respect, making our trip not just smooth but truly memorable.
He took the time to show us around Jinja, ensuring we experienced the beauty of the place while prioritizing our comfort and safety. His knowledge of the area and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. When we travelled to Kanungu to visit my mother’s burial site, his compassion, helpfulness and understanding touched our hearts deeply. He handled every aspect of the trip with care, patience, and a level of thoughtfulness that is rare to find.
After Kanungu, we visited Kampala, and he once again went above and beyond. He made a special effort to show us the new places around the city, giving us an experience we wouldn’t have had on our own. Exploring Kampala wouldn’t have been better without him—his knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm made every moment enjoyable.
What stood out most was his dedication to our well-being—always mindful of safety, considerate of our needs, and consistently respectful. He is not just a skilled driver but also a genuinely good person who made our journey so much more meaningful ~ I feel I have gained a brother.

Wonderful experience
We traveled with ARC to the Queen Elizabeth National Park from Kampala. The driver was very friendly and always cared us gentlely.
During the movement in the park, he collected information where we could see animals and worked hard to give us great experience, resulting we saw elephants in communities, lions and hiena in the park. He loved animals himself. His guidance and explanation about the park and animals were fruitful and joyful. We shared experience of the park and lodge each other and made laugh. When we decided to change our plan suddenly, ARC accpeted flexibly, and it made our trip wondeful. Whenever we had questions, we could count on ARC and they were so friendly to develop a trip plan as well. They kindly suggested nice options to discover hidden Uganda! We really enjoyed and had great time throughout the trip!
