Safari in Dar es Salam and Zanzibar Trip
We had an amazing experience with Destiny Explorers Safari. We'd especially like to thank our tour guide, Obaid, for his professionalism and friendly attitude. He made the whole trip enjoyable from start to finish.
The experience was made even better by the well-planned itinerary and Obaid's excellent knowledge of wildlife. He was great at explaining the different animals and sharing interesting facts about them.
We also really appreciated his patience, kindness, and attention to our needs throughout the trip. We'd highly recommend him, especially if you're looking for a private guide. His skill in spotting wildlife and helping us get the best viewing opportunities made the safari truly unforgettable.
We'd also like to thank Issa, who was incredibly helpful and responsive when organising our trip. He worked with us to adjust the schedule so that it perfectly suited our needs.
Overall, we couldn't be happier with the service we received and would highly recommend Destiny Explorers Safari.

Well beyond our expectations…
We were a group of seven and fitted snuggly in our Landcruiser, each with a small to medium bag without a problem. Our guide and driver, Tarimo, was so knowledgeable about everything and shared the right amount of information about all the animals and flora in the parks, and the history/stats of the parks too. He was kind, patient and caring about his guests, and directed the 5 day tour so well.
The vehicle was comfortable and with a daily seat rotation between us, we enjoyed all days. The roads are bumpy and dusty at times, but Tarimo drove with skill and care. We spotted all the animals we wanted to see, including rhino, cheetah and leopard-again thanks to our guide’s tracking skills and his connection with other tour drivers on the road.
The accommodation throughout was good and suited our needs very well- good food, clean and spacious rooms and hot showers with strong water pressure. The staff of all of our accommodation choices along the journey were also excellent- attentive and efficient which is all you need after long days on the road.
Issa at Destiny Explorers and his team put on a professional and smooth service. Issa helped guide and plan our trip though a video call which really helped with understanding the way safari works and choose our options. Payment was really easy with minimal bank charges through Revolut which was also super smooth and less stress than paying cash.
Overall we all loved this trip and we are very grateful to Issa and his team. As part of his customer service, Issa came to visit us to get feedback of our trip so he can continue to improve this excellent safari trip further. Overall this trip exceeded all of our expectations by a long way. Thank you again to the team at Destiny Explorers.

Amazing
All was perfect organized. The lodges/Camp was amazing
David was a very good driver and an amazing guide with high quality knowledge about the animals.
If i want do Tanzania Safari again i book Destiny Explorers and if possible David as driver and guide.

Excellent
The experience was amazing!
Our guide, Tarimo, was absolutely incredible, he was knowledgeable and shared so many facts about the animals and the places we visited, he had more than 20+ years experience so it was a real treat exploring the parks with him. Also, his driving through all sorts of terrain and weather was nothing short of incredible!
Communication with the agency was 10/10 from day one which is appreciated especially for first time safaris!
We had a few issues with the payment link due to our bank flagging the transactions but Juliana from the agency took the time to meet us at our hotel in Arusha and allow us to use her computer to finalize everything, we are so grateful for their help to resolve that!
The car is a little older than most and we had small issues, nothing too bad. Tarimo
made sure to get it fixed after the day was over, but with mentioning.
Highly recommend Destiny Explorers and we will surely do another safari with them again

Amazing Trip
Great experience from start to finish! Tailored itinerary, great communication, and they managed all logistics from pick up to drop off at airport. Got to see the Big Five, as well as thousands of other animals. Hussein was an excellent driver and guide. The accommodations blended comfort with novelty, and the food didn't disappoint either.

It is the best tour for seeing animals!
I can’t recommend this company highly enough! There are many safari operators to choose from, but I’m so thankful I chose this one! David was the most wonderful driver anyone could ask for—he was so kind and taught us so much about Tanzanian culture, Swahili, and the animals. He kept us safe at all times and managed to find every animal we hoped for, from cheetahs and lions to a leopard! Everything ran smoothly, the vehicle was great, and he even stopped to let us take some pictures of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We had the most perfect trip we ever could have dreamed of, and I would happily go with Destiny Explorers again in the future!

Local Tour Operator who understands international travellers
We had a great 4 day tour in the Northern Parks of Tanzania. The tour was well organized and we appreciated that owner Issa was quick to answer questions and coordinate follow up. Our driver/guide Nico was excellent, he enjoyed telling many back ground stories on the animals and the parks. We were so lucky - in total we spotted 37 lions in the Serengeti! When we got hit by severe rains in the Serengeti and roads became rivers, Nico kept his calm and manouvered us safely through. All in all a unique and memorable trip, we really love to come again!

Unforgettable memories with a fair price
This is my first time going on a safari. I don’t know if they are the best safari company in Tanzania, but I absolutely have no complaints.
I contacted Issa directly to ask for trip information, and he was helpful and willing to answer all my questions about Tanzania. I love their beautiful quotation, which includes introductions and images. It is friendly for people who don’t know anything about Tanzania to understand what kind of animals we may see during the trip. The accommodations they arranged were also good, providing hot water for showers and no insects. Moreover, the food at the accommodations was delicious and offered a great taste of local flavours.
Our guide, Hussein, is not only professional during the trip but also knowledgeable about animals. He taught us many things about wild animals, and we increased our knowledge throughout the trip. Most importantly, he can foresee the movements of the animals, so we didn’t miss any special moments and felt like we were on the National Geographic Channel. Additionally, he is a good driver. We saw many cars from other companies broken down on the road, but we had no significant trouble because he had prepared for all the car's needs.
I highly recommend choosing Destiny Explorers as your guide in Tanzania.

An unforgettable, perfectly organised and truly worry‑free Kilimanjaro experience
We chose the Lemosho Route for our Kilimanjaro climb and had an incredible experience. From day one, our guides Elly and his assistant Levi took great care of us—checking our gear, easing our concerns, and making sure we had everything we needed. The organisation was flawless, and we always felt safe, supported, and motivated. On summit day, their encouraging words and songs gave us the strength we needed. The entire team was wonderful, from the porters who greeted us with hot tea after summit night to the cook who prepared amazing meals at altitude. Amazing tour, amazing people!
Mr Issa is a very reliable person! From the beginning he helped me by answering every question I had. The accommodations were all excellent, the food was delicious and our guide David was very experienced. You should all definitely try it.
