Excellent, nothing was too much to ask. They went out of their way to make the experience amasing!
We went on a birding experience with friends for my husband's 60th birthday. From the start Godwin was excellent working out a customized tour that did not only suit our budget but also included all our requests. His communication and follow up on special requests changes was never too much to ask. We did zoom meetings and he gave valuable information not once did we feel that all the questions and demands was too much. When we arrived, they were all at the airport and we almost felt as if we already know them. Emmanual our guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient and went out of his way to always check on us and to make sure we had everything we needed. All our activities and guides assigned to take us out was also hand-picked. When we wanted to add on our program, they did everything possible to accommodate us. Highlights was the Shoebill stork, and the guides had to work extremely hard to show it to us! The Chimpanzees and Gorilla trekking, words cannot explain the feeling and the experience we had you will have to visit to know what this is about. The birding is excellent and all the special touches along the way especially on my husband's birthday made this an experience we will treasure forever. The accommodation and food were also great!!

A trip to remember
We went for a short trip to Uganda, especially for the Gorilla trek. Deluxe Vacations Uganda planned a great week for us and everything went smoothly. All rooms were more or less ok, except for some minor details. The only bad experience was the last night, where we had some encounters with bedbugs. All in all it was a great experience and we would recommend Deluxe Vacations Uganda!

I would like to share a truly heartfelt and very positive review of Deluxe Vacations Uganda, who organized an absolutely exceptional journey for us through Uganda.
From the very first contact until the final day of our trip, everything was perfectly arranged — highly professional, yet genuinely warm and personal. A very special thank you goes to our guide, Emanuel. He was incredibly caring, attentive, calm, and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks to him, we felt completely safe at all times and truly looked after — not just guided through a program, but personally cared for.
The wildlife experiences in Uganda were simply unforgettable. The close encounters with animals in their natural habitat were deeply emotional and once-in-a-lifetime moments. Everything was conducted with great respect for nature and for the local communities.
The accommodation was luxurious, comfortable, and beautifully integrated into the surrounding landscape. We traveled in a very comfortable, well-maintained vehicle, and the food throughout the trip was excellent — fresh, delicious, and of high quality.
We were also touched by the kindness of the people, the friendliness of the staff everywhere we went, and the constant warm smiles of the local community, which made the entire experience even more special.

5 Day Adventure with Gorilla & Chimp Trekking
I recently completed a 5 day vacation with Deluxe Vacations Uganda (including gorilla and chimpanzee treks), and it was the perfect experience from start to finish. The owner of the agency, Mr. Godwin Naturinda, is super prompt and responsive to any questions, and my driver/guide Mr. Emmanuel ensured that everything ran smoothly during the trip. The itinerary allowed me to see so many places in Uganda (game drives at Lake Mburo NP, scenic boat rides at Lake Bunyoni in addition to the trekking), which is one of the reasons why I chose this operator. Mr. Emmanuel knew the roads very well and was always on time. We even took a "shortcut" where we drove through Queen Elizabeth NP and got to see elephants! Because of the busy itinerary, I greatly appreciated having every detail taken care of, and it was well worth the money I spent for a private guide. Uganda is a beautiful country, and of course the gorilla trekking is magical!
I traveled as a solo female from the US, and I felt completely safe during the entire trip. (This was also my first time in Africa.)

Unforgettable wildlife experience in Uganda, well organised, by Deluxe Vacations
We had an unforgettable safari experience in Uganda thanks to Deluxe Vacations. The tour was very well organized and adapted to our preferences.
From the start, we were in contact with Godwin, who was always available and extremely helpful in planning the itinerary. He made sure that the travel distances were manageable and that the places we wanted to visit were included.
A huge thanks to our fantastic guide, Eric. He has an impressive knowledge of wildlife and is actively involved in conservation. With his experience working with gorillas and chimpanzees, he was able to share fascinating insights about these primates. Always professional, punctual, and forward-thinking, he ensured that everything went smoothly throughout the trip. His remarkable ability to spot animals, including the lions resting in a tree, made the experience truly special.
We have done safaris before in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and India, but seeing the gorillas and chimpanzees in their natural habitat in Uganda was an extraordinary and unforgettable highlight.

From our first interaction with Godwin, we felt confident we were in good hands. His communication was clear, efficient, and transparent. Before confirming any bookings, he ensured Gorilla Trekking permits were available for our preferred dates in Bwindi. This led to some necessary adjustments due to the limited daily permit availability, but we appreciated his diligence—especially compared to another agency that was ready to proceed without verifying permit availability.
Godwin worked closely with us to refine our itinerary, and once on the ground, it became clear he truly understands how to craft a memorable experience.
When one of our self-booked flights was delayed and our luggage didn’t arrive on time, Emmanuel—our guide—stepped in seamlessly. He handled all airport communications, completed the paperwork, and personally retrieved our luggage at 3:00 AM, allowing us to begin our day as planned at 6:00 AM.
Emmanuel was exceptional. His deep knowledge of nature, culture, and local life enriched our journey. He answered every question with clarity and insight, and even made thoughtful adjustments to our itinerary to enhance our experience. His proactive coordination with local service providers and excellent time management ensured we enjoyed every activity without feeling rushed, while maintaining meaningful interactions with the local community.
Each accommodation was well-chosen, offering great comfort, service, and location.

Magical Trip to Uganda
We loved our trip to Uganda and were very happy to have chosen Deluxe Vacations as our travel agent. Godwin, our first contact, was very fast to give us accurate and fast information. Specifically, he was very honest to let us know that there were not available permits for the Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking on the initial dates we chose for our trip. This clear and honest communication made us trust Deluxe Vacation from the start. On the first day of our trip, we were received with a big smile from our guide Emmanuel. He was very helpful to recover our luggage that didn’t make it to Entebbe on time. The entire trip was amazing! The hotels and activities recommended were great! Emmanuel was very friendly, kind, knowledgeable and made our trip unforgettable! Thank you Emmanuel and Godwin for this great experience! We are now ambassadors of Uganda!
Absolutely perfect!
Everything worked according to the planned itinerary. We were greeted by the main manager, who communicated very well via email beforehand and everything was arranged before we arrived. The driver was great, communicative, cared about our safety and good conditions, he drove very well even though the roads were sometimes very bad or slippery. Just total satisfaction and I can only recommend it.

Outstanding service and magical experience
My husband and I travelled to Uganda with tour agency Deluxe Vacations as part of our honeymoon and let me say that Godwin organized the trip of our lives.
Uganda truly stole our hearts. It’s a country of lush landscapes, kind-hearted people, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that we’ll never forget.
We explored Kibale Forest, where we had the amazing chance to track chimpanzees — seeing them up close, in their natural habitat, was exciting, emotional, and surprisingly moving. From there, we went to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we enjoyed stunning game drives and saw elephants, buffalo, hippos, and so much more.
But the absolute highlight was the gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. That moment — standing just meters away from a gorilla family, looking into their eyes — was beyond magical. It was one of the most powerful, humbling experiences we’ve ever had.
None of this would’ve been the same without our incredible guide, James. His knowledge, calm energy, and deep love for Uganda made the journey even more special. We always felt safe, cared for, and truly connected to the places we visited.
Uganda is not just a destination — it’s a soul-stirring adventure that stays with you long after you leave.
