We had an amazing 5-day Mount Kilimanjaro trek with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris. The entire team was friendly, professional, and well organized from start to finish. The guides and porters were incredibly supportive and always made sure we were safe and motivated. The trek was definitely challenging, but it was also one of the most rewarding experiences we’ve ever had. Everything was well organized, and we felt the service was excellent and well worth the money. We highly recommend Zanzi Trekking and Safaris to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro!

Incredible trek and team
From the moment we arrived until we completed our trek, the whole experience was exceptional. Climbing Kilimanjaro is an incredible challenge, but having such a dedicated team made it so much more enjoyable.
A massive thank you to Justin and Omary for being outstanding guides. Their encouragement, professionalism and genuine care for everyone in the group never went unnoticed. They kept us motivated through every stage of the climb and always made sure we were safe, comfortable and smiling, even on the hardest days.
The entire crew deserves so much credit. The porters, chefs and support staff worked unbelievably hard every single day and always welcomed us into camp with warm smiles and amazing energy. Their teamwork and kindness created an experience that was far beyond what we expected. Calvin’s wake up calls with coffee and positive energy was a particular highlight and Danny’s support in reaching the summit was amazing.
Thank you to everyone for making this such a memorable journey. Reaching Uhuru Peak was an unforgettable moment, and we couldn’t have done it without your incredible support. If you’re thinking about climbing Kilimanjaro, I can’t recommend this team highly enough—they truly are the best. Asante sana! 🏔️🇹🇿

Climbing Kilimanjaro was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to get me to the summit.
A huge thank you to the best guides, Justin and Omary, whose professionalism, encouragement and expertise made all the difference. They were incredibly supportive every step of the way, always checking on us, keeping our spirits high and making sure we were safe throughout the trek. Their knowledge of the mountain and genuine care for the group gave us complete confidence. They really are the best guides!! Honestly could not have completed the seven days without them.
The entire crew was absolutely amazing. Our waiter Calvin who helped us every day with the best energy, Danny for helping us reach summit and back down. The food was fantastic - huge shoutout to Chef Dustin thank you!
As for the porters such as Praygood, Dominic and Peter and the team, everyone worked so hard behind the scenes to make the experience comfortable, enjoyable and unforgettable. The camps were always well prepared, and every member of the team greeted us with a smile and endless encouragement.
Reaching the summit was an incredible achievement, and it’s one I’ll never forget. Thank you, Justin, Omary and the whole team, for creating such an unforgettable adventure. Amazing experience
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience with Zanzi Trekking and Safari! We saw so many animals, and our driver Daniel was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Everything ran smoothly, including easy airport pick-up and drop-off. The hotels were excellent with great food and entertainment, and extra attractions were added along the way. It was everything we could of looked for ina safari and much more. Highly recommended!
Johny Jackson was great at taking the time to be sure we got the pictures we wanted of the animals
Great value for the money. Tent camping was clean and safe. For anyone wanting a safari experience without the bougie cost this is the way to go.

We had a marvelous time. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide/driver than Johnny Jackson. He watched over us well. He worked hard to make sure that we saw as many animals as possible, but never rushed when we were watching and taking pictures! The variety and number of animals was amazing.

The Zanzi team is quite friendly, efficient and reliable
Booked the trip for my husband and he had the experience of a lifetime on the trek. The team was quite helpful from the initial enquiry down to the moment he landed in Tanzania. They were a pleasure to deal with on the phone, very patient with us even aftee having taken a whole month to decide on what we wanted. We paid a deposit and the balance on arrival which gave us peace of mind as it was our first time dealing with them. When my husband landed, they made sure he was well taken care of and gave me timely updates everyday so I had nothing to worry about. Very friendly and professional team, highly recommend working with them👌👌

Excellent service, comprehensive advice
While challenging, the Kilimanjaro trip was an enlightening experience. Opting for the off-season made the price affordable. I would recommend the 6-day itinerary over the 5-day one, as the extra rest day is crucial. Zanzi was exceptionally informative, offering thorough advice before the trek and detailed feedback afterwards.

We paid £500 deposit in this country and the rest on arrival in Kilimanjaro. It was this that made us book with zanzi as the worst thing that could happen would be that we’d arrive and have to find our own tour. That didn’t happen . About a week before we set off, we were given a direct email to ‘Honest’ - a very good sign , and we communicated directly to him about pick up times, flight numbers etc, answering our queries within a very short timeframe and he was at Kilimanjaro on our arrival .
He took the rest of the payment upon arrival at our first hotel, met us the following morning and transported us to our Safari vehicle. We were then in the hands of Humphre who was just the nicest man and so kind.
We had the most amazing, informative and fun trip you could imagine with beautiful scenery and animals, visiting Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We returned after four days and after a night in Arusha, were transferred to the airport for the flight to Zanzibar where we relaxed for a couple of days before booking a boat trip to Mnemba island and swam with wild dolphins.
This trip has been one of the best experiences of our lives and we take with us so many happy memories.

110% friendly and professionel
I did a 7 day Safari and joined a group, travelling solo. It is challenging depending on weather, different schedules of group members etc. And they managed perfect solutions for everybody every day. My high expectation have been easily outmatched. Ask for Mike as guide. He does not have the nickname ‚Magic Mike‘ for no reason. Best guide I could imagine: Relaxed, driving skills (which are needed!), deep knowledge of the animals, incredible sharp eyes to spot them. After 7 days you want him as your second Daddy! 😅
