Excellent safari operator: well organized, punctual, and everything ran smoothl
The safari itself was a great experience, and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the guide was a disappointment, as was the driver. They were not as engaging, informative, or attentive as we expected, which took away from what could have been an excellent experience.

Adventurous, out going, and lots of fun.
Our safari with Plex Africa Safari was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania. From the very beginning, everything was organized, professional, and stress-free.
A huge thank you to Ricardo and Aicha, who were incredible guides throughout the experience. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best safari possible. We booked a private safari, and they made the experience feel very personal by taking the time to search for every animal we hoped to see. They exceeded every expectation we had.
Communication was excellent from start to finish. The team kept us updated every step of the way, arrived on time for hotel pickup, and made the entire day run smoothly. The pricing was also very fair for the quality of the experience we received.
Even though we didn’t go in with many expectations, Ricardo and Aicha completely surpassed them. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to giving us an unforgettable experience made all the difference.

We lived a Safari dream
From the crew: star boy (1st driver), Jafar (safari guide), Edward (our contact), Shabani Aka Lewis Hamilton (best safari driver), Kennedy, Kassim and the guides we had, to the experience we have lived everything was so nice.
We were stressed because we never booked something like this and have a contact via WhatsApp, but if you’re booking with plex you don’t need to worry, Hakuna Matata☺️
The safari was so nice, we have seen a lot of animals: giraffes, elephants, a lion, impala’s, crocodiles, hippopotamus,…
Jafar was always there to tell us a bit more about the animals, you could really feel his love for the animals and Shabani was an incredible driver who was cautious about the animals well being also. We never chased the animals, they always took care about that and that was for me a priority! We were a little sad we didn’t book a second day!
Starboy picks you up in the really early morning with a big smile. The sun is already up with him, even if it’s still dark!
The guides we had for the second day (bush walk, Masai and village tour, boat safari) were also very lovely! Special thanks to our guide for the bush walk who was so interesting to listen to, we could listen to him for hours.

Exceptional Service
This safari tour was the highlight of my 40th birthday. The tour company outdid themselves, from punctuality to the flight to Mikumi and back. The food, the tour guide, everything was 10/10. I had initial phobia for small planes and the wild life in general but this was amazing. The communication was clear and professional. Thank you, I will highly recommend.

Plex Africa made our trip one to remember forever!
We had the best safari experience with Plex Africa on our honeymoon in June 2026. The booking was stress free and they're always available on whatsapp for any questions you have. We were picked up from our hotel in Zanzibar in a comfortable car and the driver was great, the whole process of travelling to Tanzania was so easy. We were greeted by our guide Jafari and Driver Shabani as soon as we stepped off the plane and taken to our Jeep. Our safari experience was one to remember forever, Jafari asked us what our favourite animals were and made it his mission to make sure we saw them! (and we did!) We saw lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocs, buffalo's, zebras the list goes on! Jafari was full of knowledge he answered all our questions on the animals and was full of fun facts. Shabani was a great driver, when we heard there were lions spotted he got us to them in record time, we felt safe and comfortable always. The food provided was unreal and there was always plenty of drink options in the Jeep. The safari lodge accommodation was lovely as well, overall we can't fault our experience and would 100% recommend Plex.

No problem, they do what they say.
We want to thank you for an incredible experience. Face to face with a big elephant, close to giraffes and hippos. Or playing lion cubs. You have to experience that. Thank you Edward and his team. Excellent driver Maneno, who made sure that we felt safe even in difficult terrain and Jafari our guide was very nice and willing to describe and explain everything to us.

The tour operator and the guides are excellent.
We booked and reserved this trip from Germany. All communication was handled via email, and everything worked perfectly from start to finish.
The transfers were also smooth and very well organized.
During our safari in Tanzania, we had a guide named Esha and our driver Daniel, who accompanied us through the different game reserves. We have to say that we had a fantastic time. Both guides took a great deal of time for us, paid attention to all our wishes, and even exceeded our expectations.
It was one of the most beautiful trips we have taken in a very long time. The experiences were simply incredible—beautiful, impressive, and full of unforgettable moments.
A big thank you to the tour operator, as well as to Esha and Daniel, for this extraordinary experience. We can wholeheartedly recommend this trip and the entire team.

Great communication and answered all questions promptly, great tour well organised.
We had a great day, slightly overcast but able to see Lion's and their cubs, elephant's including a baby, zebra's, wildebeest's, giraffe's, impala's, buffalo, hippo's, crocodile's and a mix of birds and butterflies.
The day started being picked up at 5am from Kiwengwa, being driven to the airport for a 10am flight in a twin prop Dash 8-100 plane. After about a 50minute flight we landed and changed into our modified land rovers.
The were 7 of us in the 4x4 and saw a lot on our drive around the reserve. Stopping for lunch before continuing on until our flight back to Zanzibar and taxi back to our resort.
We could see some development in the reserve, what looked like a new airport strip being built, and building improvements.
Although there was a number of other vehicles doing the tour, we never felt that we were all in a convoy or following one another, but at times we did meet the others 4x4 when groups or prides of animals were spotted, ie the lions. We never felt the animals had to stay near us or were chased down. Even had the lions walk up to our 4x4 to take shade under it.
Nixon, our guide/driver was brilliant and knowledgeable.
Very much worth doing. Amazing experience.

Trust
It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everything went well, from leaving Zanzibar to returning to the hotel. The safari was very good, I just think the boat safari could have been better, there was a lack of wildlife, especially crocodiles. But overall it was a very good experience, I highly recommend it, especially for the professionalism shown by Plex.
