An incredible, unique experience!
It was an incredible experience to be able to see these animals in an up close and personal way. A definite highlight of our trip to South Africa, and we’d certainly do it again.

An excellent safari operator offering knowledgeable guides, comfortable vehicles and great value
We had originally booked a morning safari, but after Bhekifas’ warm and enthusiastic introduction, we immediately decided to extend it to a full day. His knowledge was exceptional throughout, and his relentless drive to seek out major sightings made the day a real success.
The safari was excellent value for money, especially when we extended to a full day. The vehicle was well maintained and comfortable, and the blankets were a welcome touch in the cooler early morning temperatures.

I had a wonderful experience with Elephant Herd Safari, our guide Smiley was incredibly knowledgeable. He ensured that he understood our aim (big cats) and delivered to the best of his abilities. We felt safe and had an amazing time. We saw the big 5 plus wild dogs and even a cheetah. Highly recommend.

Very efficient, good communication.
Our Tour Guide Vuyo was very knowledgeable about the animals, their diets and life cycles, and made the safari very interesting. He found animals big and small, and birds too.
Pick up and transport was very good.

An amazing tour operator with fantastic guides and unforgettable safari experiences
We had two amazing and relaxing safaris with our guide Smiley, followed by a beautiful Panorama Route tour with our guide Beckefa.
Both guides did everything they could to make our experience as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, and we really appreciated their enthusiasm, kindness and effort throughout.

The team are really friendly and helpful and our guide was brilliant.
This was the best safari experience I have had. The team were super responsive and helpful in organising our day and accommodating our changing needs. They communicated highly effectively both before and on the day of our trip. Our guide Patrick was brilliant. Super friendly and knowledgeable plus the ability to see animals before anyone else! Best safari day ever! I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Kind, funny and informative Guide

The big five in one day
Our ranger — I don’t quite remember his name, but I think it was Becky — came to pick us up early in the morning at Gecko Lodge. He was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic and promised us that we would see the Big Five in one day. And he absolutely delivered on that promise.
He was able to spot animals from very far away and gave us an amazing experience in Kruger Park. He had a lot of knowledge about the animals and shared it with us, which we found incredibly interesting.
We had a wonderful day and ended up with a camera full of beautiful photos of stunning wildlife.

Alway good
A good full day safari. Was just after the floods so game was very hit and miss. Driver was a bit non engaging compared to previous drivers and wasn't keen on stopping at the golf club for lunch, few options for lite bites. However on the whole an enjoyable safari.
