Exceed our expectations!
Overall, the tour was excellent, and our guide, Hussein, deserves special mention for being fantastic. Over the course of the six-day safari, we saw countless animals—including more than 20 lions, 3 leopards, and 6 cheetahs—as well as many elephants, hippos, some crocodiles, and 4 rhinos. I had been on a safari in South Africa before, which was very good, but it doesn't compare to the sheer number of animals we saw on this safari in Tanzania. The hotel and transport arrangements were adequate, though nothing extraordinary. I appreciate the care "Destiny Explorers" took in putting together an itinerary that perfectly suited our interests!

10/10 experience. Tour guide was beyond amazing. Took care of all of our luggage and answered every question we had on top of sharing some of his own knowledge with us. Food was amazing throughout the trip and hotels were beyond expectations. Would love to come back again.

Unforgettable experience!
Myself and my partner did a 7 day safari circuit with destiny explorers. Our guide David was so kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We saw all the wildlife we’d hoped to see and more! Highly recommend this trip and company, Issa was incredible quick to respond to questions, helped with visas and ensured that our safari was exactly how we’d hoped. Thank you!

Excellent choice for safari
We did a 4 day safari in Ruaha NP with Destiny Explorers.
Our driver / guide, Sam, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, punctual and patient. The vehicle was reliable, comfortable and well-maintained.
Issa at DE did a great job with the itinerary, giving us a chance to maximise our time in the park and see as much as possible.
Our accommodation and board (all meals) was arranged with the park itself. Staying in the park cottages was a good choice as it meant we could start morning safaris early and finish later in the afternoons. The cottages were comfortable, quiet and spacious, but hot was definitely not reliable.
Overall, we had a great trip and definitely recommend Issa and DE as a safari operator.

The owner and guide went out of their way to provide excellent service and care during our stay.
Despite the very short notice of our arrival and the high season, Destiny Explorers replied to our queries promptly, patiently and gave us great value for money in the 6-day safari we chose. The choice of lodges outside the park and the glamping tents inside the park were carefully selected. They were comfortable and had a good selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. We never got hungry despite being in the middle of nowhere!

great safari
Mr. Tarimo was an excellent guide. We saw many many animals, he is very knowledgable and drove very carefully. The whole safari was well organized. The Moyo Tented Lodge in Serengeti was wonderful. But every Lodge was to our liking. The food was always good. A downpoint was, that we had to pay for the water at some lodges. Also, our car was quite loud, it did not have elecricity to charge our camera, nor did the cooler work, for which we asked beforehand, to cool our medication. Overall, we were very happy with our safari and would recommend it to friends.

Four Parks in Four Days with Wonderful Memories
We had direct communication throughout with the proactive director, Issa, and everything was handled quickly and clearly by email and WhatsApp. The information provided was precise. The proposed itineraries were relevant, clear and customizable. The rates were fair thanks to the direct organization and the deposit was reasonable.
The itinerary we chose was exceptional, allowing us to visit four major parks in just four days: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara, and Tarangire. It was also a wonderful introduction to Maasai culture.
We had a very good 4x4 vehicle and an excellent, experienced guide-driver, Mr. Tarimo, who had many years of experience and was always adapting the itinerary to the moving wildlife rather than follow a rigid routine. Thanks to him, we managed to see the Big Five as well as many other animals in each park.
The lodges were well chosen, recent, and offered warm, efficient, professional service. The lunch boxes were good, and the dinners in the lodges were enjoyable, including one tented stay in nature near the animals with a beautiful sunset, and another comfortable and elegant lodge with magnificent views and incredibly welcoming staff.
A high-quality private safari that left us with wonderful memories.

Easy to communicate with, great value for money
We did an 8 day safari covering: Arusha NP, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Lake Eyasi (cultural day). From the very first communication with Issa the boss we were very happy. We chose a mid range safari and was really surprised about the quality of the accommodation. It was all fantastic. Comfortable beds, food included, attentive staff was brilliant especially after a big day in the car.
We were a group of 9. We had two vehicles. Our drivers were fun, kind, caring and very knowledgeable. If we did it again we would work with Destiny to have a few nights in more than 1 location. I think that would be doable. Its your safari. Tell them what you want and they will work with you. I really liked that Issa met with us at the end of the safari to talk through any comments/advice. He is a good businessman and I wish him and his team all the very best. It was nice to support a small local business, local drivers instead of a large corporation.

Perfect company for a safari!
We had a fantastic 5-day safari with our driver David! The communication with Issa beforehand was perfect—everything was extremely well organized, and we stayed in truly luxurious camps and lodges throughout. The camps in the Serengeti were especially unforgettable.
Everything ran smoothly, and even the day after the safari we were taken to the airport. David was phenomenal, and we were able to see a huge variety of animals.
We would do this tour again anytime, and in our opinion, the extra cost charged by other providers is not justified. Thank you Issa & David for this unforgettable experience!
