Very profesional, experienced and knowledgable guide
We had an incredible safari experience across the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, made even better by our two outstanding guides.
Antony, a very senior guide, brought a level of professionalism and expertise that made us feel completely safe and informed throughout the trip. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, terrain, and animal behavior meant we never missed a moment — he always seemed to know exactly where to find the best sightings.
Gilbert's knowledge and warmth added so much to our understanding of the wildlife. He was always ready to answer our questions and shared fascinating details that brought each sighting to life.
Together, Antony and Gilbert turned this trip into an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommend requesting them if you're planning a safari in this region!

Amazing safari with a professional guide
We had an amazing safari with Beacon Safaris and would highly recommend them. Everything was very well organized, from the booking process to the end of the trip, and communication was always quick and easy.
Our guide Alex was excellent – a very good and safe driver and a fantastic safari guide with great knowledge of the wildlife and where to find animals. He always did his best to help us spot as much wildlife as possible, and thanks to him we saw so many amazing animals. It was obvious that he really enjoys what he does.
We visited Ol Pejeta, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara, and each park was completely different, with its own beautiful landscapes. It was a great way to see how different and beautiful Kenya is.
The lodges were very nice, with great locations, comfortable rooms and very good food. Everything ran smoothly, and the whole trip exceeded our expectations.
An unforgettable safari experience with the best guide!
We booked a safari with Beacon Safaris and were lucky enough to have Daniel as our guide, he was an absolute 10/10! He is highly experienced, with over 15 years in the field and formal education in animal behavior, which meant he could read the wildlife's body language effortlessly. We felt completely safe and well looked after every step of the way.
Daniel picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi and took great care of us throughout our entire 3-day safari and transportation to the camp. He is incredibly knowledgeable, funny, kind, and wonderful to be around. He shared so many great insights about the animals and daily life in Kenya. We truly recommend him to anyone planning a trip! :)

A Safari We’ll Never Forget!
From the moment our safari started until the very end, everything was perfectly organized and exceeded our expectations.
We were incredibly lucky to have Alex as our guide. His passion for wildlife, deep knowledge, and enthusiasm made every game drive exciting and memorable. He always knew where to look, shared fascinating facts about the animals and the parks, and answered every question with a smile.
What really stood out was how dedicated he was to giving us the best experience possible. He was always on time, drove with great care, and made us feel relaxed and safe throughout the entire safari. His positive attitude and friendly personality made every day even more enjoyable.
The absolute highlight was being able to see all of the Big Five, something we had dreamed about before coming to Kenya. We know this isn’t something anyone can promise, but thanks to Alex’s experience, patience, and determination, we were fortunate enough to make that dream a reality.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience – Highly Recommended!
Our safari was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Kenya, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
A huge thank you to our guide, Alex, who was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. He was always punctual, incredibly friendly, professional, and it was obvious that he has years of experience. His knowledge of the wildlife was exceptional, and he explained everything about the animals, their behaviour, and the different areas we visited in such an interesting and engaging way.
Alex is also an excellent driver. We always felt safe and comfortable, and his experience and dedication made every game drive enjoyable. He was always happy to answer our questions, give helpful advice, and made sure we had the best possible experience every single day.
The biggest highlight was seeing all of the Big Five! We know that’s never guaranteed on a safari, so we really appreciate the effort, patience, and expertise Alex put into making it happen. It was a dream come true and something we’ll never forget.

Great value safari with a few unexpected challenges
This agency offers fair pricing and managed to book our favourite lodges unavailable via other agents. Pre-trip replies were timely and helpful.
We met a few hiccups on safari: our vehicle had two mechanical faults causing delays, with long seven-hour drives between locations. Binoculars we expected were not provided, and wildlife sightings mostly relied on following other vehicles.
Our guide Anthony was lovely, knowledgeable about animals and Kenya, and great to talk to. A small wish: a slightly quicker driving pace for transfers.
Overall a budget-friendly pick. Do keep an open mind for unexpected safari situations. The team were helpful, and Anthony fixed the vehicle to get our trip back on track.

Alex is a very proactive driver/guide, we saw alot of animal encounters because of his hard work.
We had a fantastic experience with Beacon Safaris! The itinerary was well planned out by Robert and it was not too rushed. Though we felt that we could have skipped Lake Nakuru and spend one more night in Masai Mara but we would not have known that before we went on the tour.
The accommodations were all very comfortable and have excellent service except for Samburu Sopa Lodge as it could get very hot during the day and there was no electricity during the afternoon. There was also no fan provided in the room.
We felt that the price we paid for the trip was well worth it as there were no nasty surprises and everything was well planned with a driver/guide to bring us around.
As for the tour itself, Alex, our driver/guide was very proactive and did a wonderful job in letting us catch rare animal encounters. He went the extra step and put in extra hours just to locate the leopard in Samburu. He has also managed to maintain safe and efficient driving even though he has been driving for many hours. He also shared many informative snippets about the wildlife. On the second day of Masai Mara, he also put in the extra effort so that we could have a higher chance of witnessing the Great Migration - and the beautiful sunsets.
On the final day, on our request, he also brought us to a restaurant in Nairobi to have our dinner before boarding our flight as it would be difficult to travel around the city with luggages. We really appreciate it as he has to put in extra hours too.

Reliable, flexible, communicative, dedicated en passionate ! Superb!
We just returned from a wonderful 3-day safari to Maasai Mara with Beacon Safari and our driver Carlos. They were responsive and quick to communicate beforehand, flexible about our departure time, and we even got a surprise upgrade for our overnight stay (a better lodge).
Carlos, as our driver/guide, made the safari even more amazing thanks to his passion for nature and his dedication to making the most of the experience for us and spotting as many animals as possible. On top of that, he brought cheerfulness, optimism, a sense of perspective, and a relaxed mindset. Great experience !

Amazing experience
We just returned from an incredible safari adventure booked through BeaconSafari, and the entire experience was flawless from start to finish.
