Exceptional service, personalized planning, expert guides, and unforgettable experiences.
5/5

Our family of four (parents ages 57 and 54, with our sons ages 21 and 18) recently returned from what was truly among the best family vacations we have ever taken. We traveled to Uganda to celebrate both of our sons' graduations, one from high school and one from college, as well as our older son's 21st birthday. Thanks to Bob, Francis, and The Shuttle Hospitality, it became a trip that created memories we will cherish forever.
From the very beginning, Bob was outstanding. He was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, often replying to emails almost immediately. I honestly wasn't sure if he ever slept! He worked closely with us to customize the perfect itinerary based on our interests, and every detail was thoughtfully planned.

From the moment we arrived in Uganda, the service was exceptional. Bob and Francis personally met us at the airport, where we received VIP assistance through immigration, baggage claim, and airport formalities, making our arrival completely seamless after a long journey. It was a wonderful way to begin our adventure and immediately made us feel welcomed, valued, and well taken care of.

Our driver and guide, Francis, exceeded every expectation. He was simply exceptional. His driving skills were masterful, allowing us to travel comfortably and confidently throughout the country. His knowledge of Uganda's national parks, wildlife, birds, history, and culture was extraordinary. Every game drive was educational and exciting because of his incredible ability to spot wildlife we never would have seen on our own. He also shared fascinating insights into Uganda's history, traditions, and daily life, making the experience so much richer. Beyond his expertise, Francis was warm, professional, personable, and genuinely committed to making our trip unforgettable.

The itinerary itself was spectacular. Every lodge we stayed in exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were beautiful, the locations were breathtaking, the food was excellent, and the hospitality from every member of the staff was outstanding. Each lodge had its own unique character while consistently delivering exceptional service.

One of the things that impressed us most was the flexibility and outstanding customer service. After experiencing chimpanzee trekking and gorilla trekking, we realized we wanted even more time with these incredible animals. During our trip, Bob and Francis quickly secured additional permits and seamlessly adjusted our itinerary so we could add another chimpanzee trek and an additional gorilla trek. Knowing how difficult these permits can be to obtain, we were incredibly grateful that they made it happen without disrupting the rest of our journey.

Throughout the entire trip, we felt safe, comfortable, and exceptionally well cared for. Francis was always attentive and professional, and we had complete confidence in him every step of the way. Combined with Bob's meticulous planning, we were able to simply relax and immerse ourselves in the experience. We also found the Ugandan people to be among the warmest, friendliest, and most welcoming people we have encountered anywhere in the world.

Uganda itself is an extraordinary destination. The wildlife is incredible, the scenery is breathtaking, and the diversity of experiences is unlike anywhere else. From unforgettable safaris to trekking with mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, every day brought something new and remarkable. Celebrating our son's 21st birthday during the trip made it even more special, and thanks to the thoughtful planning and wonderful experiences, it became a birthday he will never forget.

If you are considering a safari in Uganda, we cannot recommend The Shuttle Hospitality highly enough. Bob and Francis went above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience for our family. Their professionalism, flexibility, knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care made this a seamless and truly exceptional adventure. If you've been hesitant about visiting Uganda, our experience was overwhelmingly positive. We never once felt unsafe and would return without hesitation.

This was more than just a vacation. It was a once-in-a-lifetime family experience that exceeded every expectation and created memories we will treasure forever. We give The Shuttle Hospitality our highest recommendation and would not hesitate to travel with them again.

A bucket list experience!
5/5

We booked The Hospitality Shuttle based on their reviews and they absolutely lived up to their 5/5 reviews!

Leading up to the trip, Bob was seamless with communication, helping us create a tour that suited our needs and was very flexible as we worked on the finer details.

Once we arrived in Uganda, we were in safe hands. The accomodation associated with the tour is all stunning! The vehicles used was without a doubt the best vehicle we saw on the trip (some companies have mini vans, Shuttle Hospitality have the fun jeeps). Food at all accomodations is so delicious!

Our guide, Emmy, was so patient and clearly explained what was going to happen each day. He was very passionate about the wildlife and went above and beyond to try and make sure we saw as many animals as possible.

Honestly, not a single thing went wrong! We saw the Big 5, slept well, ate well and were in excellent company the entire trip.
It was a dream come true!

Very responsive and reliable.
5/5

We chose Shuttle hospitality because they had good rates on Safari Bookings. Our experience working with them smooth, because we were getting answers very quickly, all informations were reliable and our wishes were (if possible) taken into account. Tour was organized professionally, tour guide (Francis) was experienced and helpful, accommodation was as planned. If I would go to Uganda once again, I would not hesitate to contact them once again.

A flawless trip that was tailored perfectly to our needs.
5/5

We were looking for a last-minute Eid getaway but ended up booking the trip of a lifetime. What began as a four-day journey on a tight budget evolved into eight unforgettable days filled with extraordinary experiences for two families.

As we learned and explored the possibilities, Bob patiently adapted the itinerary, offering thoughtful suggestions and collaborating closely with us until we had created our ideal holiday. Our wish list was ambitious: volcanoes, waterfalls, boat trips, horse riding, golf, and, of course, plenty of wildlife. Every request was considered, and when the trip finally came together, it exceeded our expectations.

The lodges were beautiful, the food fresh and delicious, and the team (Francis and Chris) throughout our journey were fun, kind and very knowledgable. We found it incredibly difficult to leave. Understandably, concerns about health and global uncertainty had been on our minds before traveling, but we were so well looked after that those worries quickly disappeared, allowing us to fully relax and immerse ourselves in culture, breathtaking landscapes and wonderful people.

We have become unofficial ambassadors for Uganda and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Great service, very responsive
5/5

I would highly recommend the Shuttle Hospitality. We booked our Gorilla Trekking expedition in Bwindi National Forest, along with a short stay in Entebbe. The airport transfers and the connection from Kihihi to Bwindi were seamless. We loved the hotels chosen for us, Hotel No. 5 in Entebbe and the Buhoma Lodge in Bwindi. The gorilla experience was amazing, and our tour guide was able to get us assigned to the easy trek.

We had an incredible trip with Fenie, he was relaxed and informative on our entire trip. We basically saw everything we wanted and so much more. During the trip asked to have some modifications to our schedule and he was super accommodating to allow us to do so.

Went above and beyond to make sure we had our dream honeymoon
5/5

My wife and I used Safari bookings to reach out to various companies regarding a trip to Uganda for our honeymoon, with a Gorilla trek in mind.

Bob was very responsive and helpful via whatsapp. He gave us useful advice on which airlines to book with and when would be a good time to fly to fit our itinerary.
We initially chose an 11 day excursion, but there were a few extras (viewing the shoebills and visiting Lake Bunyoni) which Bob was happy to add in and amend the itinerary accordingly without any issue.

When we landed we were greeted by Robert who made sure we got through security and had our luggage, and then we met Bob in the car park at the vehicle. We got driven to the hotel in Entebbe which was only a 15 minute drive and given the run down for the next morning. Bob made sure we were checked into the hotel and made sure we had everything we needed.

After a day in Entebbe seeing the Shoebills and doing the boat cruise on Lake Victoria, we met Francis, our guide for the rest of the trip.
Francis was excellent, he has a wide variety of knowledge about the wildlife and Uganda as a whole and it was great learning about the country from him and getting to meet many locals on the various activities. He has been a guide for years and can spot animals a mile off, so we got very lucky when out on drives having him at the wheel!

Francis is very easy going and made sure we had the best possible time. During the trip my wife mentioned she wanted to see Pangolins. Francis arranged for us to go to a Pangolin rehabilitation centre in Biwindi to make this possible. It was $30 each, and the Pangolins were super cute.

The lodges that Shuttle use are incredible, they are all so different and all of the staff at each place were very attentive and kind. Our favourite lodge had to be Elephant Plains. Martin who works there made sure we always had everything we needed and they had a kitten called Angel who was very cute!

I would recommend using The Shuttle Hospitality as they are a Ugandan company, and as such they use locals in each are to show you around and talk you through the various projects and communities. Getting to support the local guides and gaining insight into their lives was invaluable and a great way to get to know the country.

TOP TIP: You can draw out cash at various points during the trip. Francis was always happy to take us to an ATM en route. As we met a lot of locals it was always good to have cash on hand for tips.

It also happened to be my birthday during the trip, so the Shuttle arranged for people to sing happy birthday to me and a cake got brought out at dinner. It made an already fun birthday even more special.

I would highly recommend this company to anybody, and you won't regret booking with them. If you want to take a trip around Uganda, you should definitely be travelling with the Shuttle Hospitality.

Much more than a tour operator
5/5

The guys from Shuttle have done
much more than a good tour operator, they have successfully resolved issues which were beyond their responsibility such as:
- our luggages were lost so we had no clothes for our first Safari. Francis provided full equipment and literally gave me the jacket off his back
- they somehow managed to transport our luggages once these were found via plane from Entebbe to the Bwindi jungle in 1 day with no additional cost!
- they managed changes of plans immediately (buying plane tickets etc) and with a smile on their faces.
I can say that without a doubt that they saved our whole trip. If anything goes wrong during your trip these are the guys you would want around. Thank you Francis! Thank you Bob!

One of the best organized tours we have experienced.
5/5

Our tour for a couple in their seventies was organized to the letter according to our requests. Everything was well handled and went according to the plan. Bob was closely involved while planning our trip and especially during when we were on the road. The vehicle was comfortable enough considering the bad roads. Richard, the guide/driver was professional and very friendly and always attentive to our needs and requests. The success of our Gorilla and chimpanzee adventure is mainly attributed to the excellent organization of Shuttle Hospitality.
