An Experience Beyond Expectations
From the very beginning, this safari was an experience that went far beyond our expectations.
Even before setting foot in the savannah, we exchanged several emails with our contact person, Nathan, who managed every single detail of our safari impeccably. He listened carefully to all our requests, understood exactly what we were looking for, and selected the best possible options for our needs. Everything felt personal, thoughtful, and perfectly organized. A huge thank you goes to Nathan first and foremost — he truly set the tone for an unforgettable adventure.
And then came the accommodations… simply INCREDIBLE.
Luxurious, beautifully located, and with staff who genuinely stay in your heart. Each place offered something unique, turning the safari into much more than just a wildlife experience. They made every evening and every morning even more comfortable, authentic, and special. And sleeping in beautiful tents right in the middle of the savannah? Absolutely unforgettable. It sounds adventurous — and it is — but somehow you feel safer there than in many places elsewhere in the world. Waking up surrounded by the sounds of the wild is an experience that is very difficult to put into words.
Last but certainly not least, an honourable mention — and honestly, much more than that — goes to our guide, Agrey.
For the entire safari, Agrey was with us in the jeep, which very quickly became our second home. He is an incredibly experienced guide, always ready to answer our endless questions, genuinely passionate about what he does, and blessed with a smile that never seemed to disappear.
His knowledge of the savannah, combined with his extraordinary driving skills and ability to understand animal behaviour, allowed us to witness countless unique moments. Thanks to him, we were able to see practically every animal we had hoped for — from the tiniest creatures to the most impressive giants of the savannah — often in situations we could never have imagined.
But what made the experience truly special was the sense of trust and safety he inspired every single day. We always felt that we were in excellent hands, allowing us to simply enjoy the moment, keep our eyes wide open, and let the savannah surprise us.
And believe me, it did.
This safari was not simply a trip. It was an adventure, a collection of unforgettable moments, incredible people, breathtaking landscapes, and stories that we will be telling for a very long time.
We arrived with high expectations.
We left with memories that exceeded them all.

Highly recommended tour operator, excellent service and amazing tour guide.
The safari was incredible; I can’t put into words the joy and excitement I felt. My friend and I had the best time, experiencing the real wild side of nature at its very best. The activities were perfectly planned, and we had the chance to spot all the animals we wanted to see. The two accommodations chosen for us were amazing, and the real highlight was the vehicle and guide assigned to us. He was extremely knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend this safari to everyone!

Very professional and knowledgeable.
I was on a 2 night, 3 days safari in Serengeti and I had a lovely time. From the pick up to departure everything was properly organized and I feel like I got more than I was expecting. All kudos go to our safari guide - Brighton! I went to few safaris before, so this isn’t new activity to me, but the guide was very exceptional. He is passionate about wildlife, safari, conservation… I learned a lot from him, and for every question he had a very good answer. Lovely to see someone doing his job so dedicated and with passion! For sure I will request him the next time I go!

The best support and quality on delivering safaris I could find.
I have travelled twice with Januz and my experience was amazing, above expectations.
Manfred is a phenomenal, knowledgeable, friendly and fun tour guide.
We saw every animal you come to Tanzania to see, worth every penny. The balloon ride was unforgettable. Rose did a great job tailoring our experience just how we wanted it and was prompt in answering all questions.

Very good value for money. Our guide Raymond was extremely knowledgeable and his ability to spot animals was amazing and he ensured we saw the big five and the river crossing . He was one of the best among most of the tours we have done. Rose was amazing in helping us navigate the logistics and was extremely responsive. The lodges, the baloon ride was all top notch. Very friendly, Rose was available all the time when we had questions and she helped us planning.
We had a 7 days safari including hiking to Materuni village. Everything was well arranged and all thank to Rose and her team in General. Our guide was knowledgeable in the parks and we were able to see the Big Five. We highly recommend this 7 days package with Januz Safaris.

Exceeded all expectations
Our experience with Januz Safari’s has been one word, incredible! This was our first safari and we didn’t know what to expect. We booked this for our honeymoon so we opted for the Luxury Safari experience. From start to finish the communication over WhatsApp was excellent, and Rose kept in regular contact with us and answered any questions we had. During our safari, our tour guide Manfred was nothing short of amazing. His knowledge of the animals and national parks surpassed our expectations and we really did see some amazing things. Manfred really made our safari experience and should we come back to Tanzania for another safari we will absolutely be booking Januz again! Thank you all!
