A professional, attentive, flexible, reliable organizor, and a good listener
This safari was planned as early as the end of last year. Originally scheduled for mid-May, we had communicated our travel plans with several companies and gradually received responses and quotations. Larger companies responded with standardized procedures—well-established but relatively rigid—and were less enthusiastic about our customized ideas. From the outset, Isa stood out for being flexible, proactive, and genuinely open to listening. Even when some of our requests proved difficult to implement, he didn't simply dismiss them; instead, he offered thoughtful analysis and practical suggestions, leaving a strong impression on us. Later, due to our circumstances, the trip was postponed to September, and ISA actively cooperated by adjusting the itinerary—from primarily focusing on central Serengeti to first visiting the northern regions before returning to the center. As a result, we saw the Big Five, witnessed the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River in a spectacular "river of life" scene, and even took a hot air balloon ride. The entire journey turned out to be exceptionally fulfilling. Our guide, Hussein, demonstrated outstanding professionalism throughout. He is an excellent driver, possesses extensive knowledge about wildlife and natural ecosystems, and has strong communication and coordination skills. Every evening at dinner, he would listen attentively to our feedback from the day's tour and clearly outline the next day’s schedule. Most impressively, he has sharp eyes like an eagle for spotting animals and always helped us find the best vantage points. In unexpected situations such as a flat tire, he remained calm and handled it swiftly, giving us a strong sense of security. Overall, we were quite satisfied with this experience. The only point that could be improved is the vehicle's condition, which appears somewhat outdated—there are a few cracks on the windshield and one armrest on the seat is damaged.

Extremely attentive and responsive service
We started planning our 10-day Tanzanian Safari around 18-months out. So after comparing lots of different tour operators, we selected Destiny Explorers.
We sent an initial enquiry to 3 different companies and the reply from Issa from Destiny Explorers was received first and was by far the most thorough.
After a couple more emails back and forth we started planning our custom itinerary. Issa was great with suggestions and always replied with updates or changes very quickly.
We felt very happy with our decision throughout the booking and payment process, but of course the most important part would be the tour itself.
Thankfully, the tour far exceeded our expectations. Tarimo was our guide and he knows Tanzania's Safari parks backwards. He get a hot tip about where something might be happening or even just a hunch based on past experience about where something could happen and 9 times out of 10 he delivered.
You'll read lots about how rough the roads are on the Safari trail and I can confirm that they are probably rougher than you could imagine, so you are going to want a smooth, considerate driver and Tarimo is both of these.
The accomodation that Issa selected throughout the tour was all of a high standard and the food was always tidy and plentiful.
It also goes without saying that the Wildlife experience was incredible. Multiple close encounters with lions and elephants and we also spotted 5 leopards and 4 rhinos on the tour. These are 2 of the toughest animals to spot, so 1 or 2 is usually good going but Tarimo kept putting us in the right place at the right time.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our decision to use Destiny Explorers and feel it was the perfect option for us.

Issa was so helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had. He planned our perfect holiday.
Our 10 day Safari was just perfect. Issa was quick to answer any questions we had and our itinerary was amazing.
Our driver Tarimo was a great, calm, knowledgeable driver with many years experience, he seemed to know where to go to find the best animal encounters.
Our accommodation over the 10 days was top notch for our mid budget trip.
We did Arusha NP, Manyara NP, Serengeti , Natron, Lake Eyasi & Tarangire NP. They were all very different but we loved them all. Our cultural day with the Hadzabe & Datoga people was wonderful and we learnt alot.

Good organization and communication! Everyone is helpful, polite and professional.
The Safari in Mikum was just amazing. Gilbert and Robert are a great Team, polite and so nice. We had one of the most beautiful experiences thanks to both of them. Gilbert as a Guide was always helpful and patient I would definitely book an other safari with him. 👌🏻👏🏻The Camp lilac was nice and clean, food was delicious and everyone was so helpful there.🙏🏻
Also I think the organization is really professional and I would always recommend. Additionally: Also feld save at any time with both of them driving wich I appreciate.

My husband and I went on a private safari called "10 Day Twende"—eight full days of safari activities, plus one night upon arrival and another before departure. From our very first contact, Issa proved to be punctual, helpful, and reliable. The package he offered was extremely reasonably priced—almost half the cost of many other quotes we received. Everything was perfect: from our driver-guide Tarimo—who was highly experienced, kind, knowledgeable, and a safe driver—to the selected lodges and tented camps, which were beautiful and offered welcoming staff and excellent food, making us feel completely at ease. The itinerary was comprehensive and brilliantly planned, allowing us to visit stunning locations, witness breathtaking wildlife encounters, and interact with the Maasai, Hadzabe, and Datoga tribes—all truly fascinating experiences. Although the days were demanding and tiring, we always ended the evening feeling deeply satisfied. Thanks to Tarimo’s skill, we never experienced any vehicle trouble, whereas we saw dozens of broken-down cars with disappointed tourists losing precious safari time. Our greatest wish was to witness the Great Migration river crossing, and that wish came true. We are certainly delighted to have chosen Destiny Explorers.

Welcoming, helping and professional.
We did the 7-day twende safari and it was well rounded providing both great wildlife and cultural experiences. We got to see many parks( as this was our goal instead of focusing on less main parks) but we didn’t feel like we were missing on wildlife action. It’s one of the best value for money as it offers very good accommodations as well as entries in the main parks of Tanzania in a very competitive price. Our local driver, Tarimo, was also very polite, sweet and patient as well as a professional and really tried to make our experience better.

accommodating & responsive
I designed my own tour & they were very accommodating, as well as provided useful advice. E.g. I didn't want to sit in a car for three whole days, and tried to include activities each day, including walking safari & canoeing. They responded to emails quickly. I went with them because amongst the companies I inquired with, they had the most attention to detail in addressing my request.

Very accommodating, helpful and knowledgable around wildlife with a smooth booking system.
My wife and I had the most amazing trip with Destiny Explorers. From before we even arrived the service was brilliant, with Issa updating us with itineraries and any changes to the trip as necessary with plenty of notice.
When we arrived our guide, Hussein met us at the airport and we started our adventure. Hussein himself was fantastic. He was so friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about not just the wildlife but the surrounding areas as well. Hussein was a huge part of why we had such a brilliant time.
The accommodations provided for us by the company were all brilliant too, with the food exceeding expectations and the rooms/amenities all being great as well.
Overall a fantastic trip, running out of good things to say about it, would recommend this company whole-heartedly!!
