Humphrey is the best Guide !
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Humphrey! He is a very kind, warm-hearted, and friendly person. He knows the entire area extremely well and shared a lot of interesting information with us. He is also a very skilled and safe safari driver, which made us feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. We really enjoyed our time with him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and friendly guide!

I recently survived a 6-day safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara, and the Serengeti. I say "survived" because I made the fatal mistake of taking the front passenger seat next to our guide, Humphrey.
Humphrey’s primary weapon is a dry, razor-sharp sarcasm that could wilt a baobab tree. If you enjoy being ruthlessly roasted at 5:00 AM while looking for lions, he’s your guy.
Here are a few reasons you should avoid him at all costs:
- He ruins the surprise of everything. Want to spend two hours searching for wildlife? Forget it. The man is an insufferable human radar. He’ll casually point toward an empty patch of grass two miles away and say, "Oh look, a waterbuck," where the rest of us normal humans just see dirt. It’s completely unfair to the antelope trying to hide.
- He claims to love animals, but I suspect he knows them personally. The sheer volume of wildlife facts he spews makes me think he’s in a secret group chat with the Big Five.
- His driving is a subtle form of torture. He calls the bone rattling dirt roads an "African Massage." I call it a full-body chiropractor adjustment delivered via Toyota Land Cruiser. The worst part? His driving is so smooth and competent that you can't even complain properly, you just have to sit there and take the therapy.
- He made me feel included. As a solo traveler, I was fully prepared to sit quietly in the back and be awkward. Humphrey immediately ruined that by making me feel like part of the crew, forcing me to actually laugh and have fun for six days straight. Exhausting.
The only saving grace of the entire ordeal was our chef, Thadues. While Humphrey was busy destroying my self-esteem with his wit, Thadues was quietly keeping us alive with incredible food, going out of his way to cater to dietary restrictions, including actually delicious gluten-free meals.
If you want a boring, quiet driver who can't spot a leopard if it jumped on the hood, do NOT book Humphrey. But if you want a master spotter who will keep you laughing and safe the entire trip... fine, ride shotgun. Just don't say I didn't warn you.
Humphrey is the best tour guide ever! - Amazing safari experience!
It was an amazing safari! We saw all big five several times and the animals were super close like a few meters. We made awesome pictures and learned a lot about the environment, the animals, plants, culture and much more. We even saw two hunting scenes. Especially our tour guide Humphrey deserves 10 out of 5 stars! He has a huge knowledge, can answer every question, takes care of all travellers, he’s a safe driver and very professional as polite as funny. We enjoyed our 5 days trip with him a lot. Amazing safari with Humphrey—knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and a fantastic guide!
We did a 4-day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Overall, the experience was great. Not only did we see the Big Five and lots of other animals, but our driver, Humphrey, was also very insightful, well-spoken, friendly, and funny. He shared a lot of details about the animals with us and was very open to answering any questions we had. We enjoyed the trip a lot and would definitely recommend it.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful 3 day safari, seing animals up close and all the big five. We highly recommend this safari. Thanks to the guide Hamphrey and the cook, who were very attentive, professional and friendly throughout our stay.
They did their best to make sure we had a smooth and memorable safari experience.
We had a wonderful safari experience with the team.
Our driver, Amani, was very patient and professional. Whenever we wanted to see cheetahs or leopards, he always did his best to find them for us. He has an incredible eye for spotting animals! He was also very knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions, while introducing us to the different animals and explaining their behavior. He also helped my friend and me arrange our bus and ferry tickets for our departure from Arusha, which was a huge help and made our onward journey much easier. We are very grateful for his kindness and support.
Our chef, Mwasiti, also did a fantastic job. The food was delicious, and we always looked forward to every meal she prepared for us.
I’m also very grateful to Domininki for taking the time to introduce us to the team and for helping us with practical matters, such as getting a local SIM card and exchanging money.
We also met some new friends during the trip, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Although we didn’t make it to the northern Serengeti to see the Great Migration, as the route was simply too far for our itinerary, we still had an amazing time. We really appreciated that the team could offer different options depending on our budget and arrange the itinerary according to our needs, while still making sure we had a great overall experience.
A big thank you to the whole team for making our safari such a memorable experience!

His wildlife spotting skills are legendary—he can find deeply camouflaged leopards and track lions with ease. More importantly, he is an exceptionally safe and skilled driver, navigating the roughest terrain and mud comfortably. He has a profound respect for nature and deep knowledge of animal behavior, which made our trip both educational and thrilling.He went above and beyond to ensure our safety, comfort, and happiness throughout the journey. Cheap and excellent quality!
Great value for money! The food was tasty, and the whole experience was made even better by our very friendly guide, Armani, and the young cook. Both were welcoming and made the safari really enjoyable. Highly recommended! And don’t forget to Tipp, they really happy about it.

A special thank you to our amazing team, Humphrey and chef Tony. Humphrey was an excellent driver and guide — extremely knowledgeable about the parks, animals, and their behavior. He always knew where to go and found the best spots for us to see wildlife up close, while making sure we were safe at all times. He was always in a great mood, caring, patient, and genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience.
Tony was also fantastic and prepared delicious meals throughout the safari. Having such a friendly and professional team made the whole experience even more special.
