Amazing experience

Wondeful!
We had an amazing safari experience in Kenya with Jamlan Holiday Safaris! We visited Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboselli, and each destination offered something different and unforgettable.
A special mention to our guides, Paul and especially Kikitu, who were both knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive throughout the trip. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with so many other incredible animals.
I would definitely recommend Jamlan Holiday Safaris to anyone looking for a well-organised and enjoyable Kenya safari!

many thx to my consultant derick who follow-up me on each day of my safari
i am group joining 7 days safari with mid-range luxury accommodation, we went to maasaimara, nakuru, naivasha, hells gate and ambosseli, I booked the tour from safaribookings in china, my consultant derick he gave me the schedule and quotation, the price is good, I dot require a price off, but compared to quotations from agent of china, jamlan quotation island really really more cost effective, during my safari I lived really nice and beatiful hotels/lodges much more nice than quotation described.
since I am not private tour i changed our driver guide and cars one time during safari, and this doesn't matter.
in a word this is a memorable trip well organized, jamlan can be trusted beyond expectation, I am a solo traveler, before i came to kenya i am a little bit of afraid of this tour, finally it is perfect thx to my consultant derick.

Our safari with Jamlan was nothing short of exceptional. From the organisation and assistance provided to help us book the best experience to suit our needs through to arriving home, Teddy our tour consultant, was amazing. From the moment we arrived in Kenya, the team was professional, friendly and incredibly well organised. Our guide, Danny, was knowledgeable, passionate about wildlife and made every game drive both exciting and informative - he was also a top bloke and we enjoyed his company. The attention to detail, personalised service and seamless logistics allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. Danny also promised us a Cheetah for the final day and he delivered! We saw an incredible range of wildlife - including the big 5 and felt safe and incredibly well looked after throughout the trip. Danny was more than happy to go the extra mile for us! I had an exceptional experience working with Teddy Shallytom and Jamlan Holiday Safaris. I had long dreamed of visiting Kenya and Tanzania during the Great Wildebeest Migration, so I spoke with friends and family who had taken similar trips. My sister had booked a 12-day safari with Teddy several years earlier and spoke highly of both him and his company. After researching other operators and comparing itineraries and pricing, I ultimately chose Jamlan Holiday Safaris—and I’m very glad I did.
After discussing my interests, trip duration, and budget, Teddy designed a customized itinerary that perfectly balanced wildlife viewing, comfort, and value. Our 10-day safari included Tanzania—flying into Kilimanjaro and visiting Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti—followed by Kenya, where we explored the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli before flying home from Nairobi. The itinerary also included a land border crossing between the two countries.
What stood out most about Teddy and his team was their commitment to delivering a truly memorable experience:
1) Excellent Communication
Teddy took the time to understand exactly what was important to me and never tried to upsell unnecessary extras. He was consistently responsive via email and WhatsApp and was even willing to arrange a video call to answer questions in detail. Throughout the planning process, he also kept us informed about important health and political developments in the countries we were visiting, which gave us added confidence and peace of mind.
2) Outstanding Value for Money
The safari provided tremendous value. The accommodations, food, and overall service exceeded expectations, especially considering the price compared to other operators I evaluated. Some of the lodges were truly spectacular, particularly The Retreat at Ngorongoro and Amani Mara in the Maasai Mara. Memorable experiences such as the bush dinner at Amani Mara made the trip even more special.
3) Flexibility and Personalized Service
After my original booking, a friend and her family decided to join us. Teddy was incredibly accommodating and successfully incorporated them into our itinerary while keeping the same accommodations whenever possible. Having a private safari for our two families allowed for greater flexibility in setting our daily schedules and tailoring wildlife viewing opportunities to our interests.
4) Reliability and Safety
From start to finish, everything ran smoothly. The drivers were professional, dependable, and prioritized safety at all times. Bottled drinking water was readily available throughout the trip. At several lodges located close to wildlife areas, escorts were provided to and from guest accommodations, which was both reassuring and appreciated. Our Tanzanian driver went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, including wildlife reference books and binoculars that enhanced our game-viewing experience.
The wildlife sightings were extraordinary. We were fortunate enough to see the Big Five within the first few days and witnessed incredible predator activity, including a pride of lions feeding on a Cape buffalo and a hyena feeding on a zebra. Experiences like these made for an unforgettable safari.
Overall, the trip exceeded all expectations. Teddy’s professionalism, expertise, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction made this one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. I would wholeheartedly recommend Teddy Shallytom and Jamlan Holiday Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Kenya, Tanzania, or East Africa.

Reliable, Professional, competitive price for individually designed package, fantastic experience
We had a wonderful 3 days in Masai Mara with Jamlan Holiday Safaris and their driver, Simon. Booking and payment was easy with Phinorah always being available for answering questions and staying in e-mail contact. Pick up at our private address in Nairobi was on time at 7am on a Sunday morning. The safari car was fit for purpose and comfortable enough for the road trip from Nairobi to the park. Simon our driver/safari guide was not only a master of his Land Cruiser even in difficult offroad situations, he also had a sixth sense for the hidden whereabouts of the animals such as lions and leopards. We saw all that we wanted to see in a very cordial and relaxing atmosphere. The balance of game drives and resting at the beautiful serena lodge was perfect and Simon managed to deliver us back to Kenyatta Airport after a demanding 8 hour drive in good time for check-in and departure back to Kigali. It doesn't get better than this.

A RELIABLE TOUR OPERATOR
Jamlan helped plan and execute a 7 day safari and 3 day beach relaxation at Diani beach when my Mexican boyfriend visited. Of the luxury lodges and camps that we spent in, I loved The Cliff at Lake Nakuru and Elephant gorge in Amboseli most. Sam was always checking on us while on safari to ensure that everything was executed accordingly. On the other hand, Sasine is a keen driver and highly talented at spotting animals even from far. We saw all the Big 5 among other animals.
For those who plan to have safari in Kenya, here's a perfect company for you. Ask them to give you Sasine as your driver-guide.

Great personalised service
Family of 2 adults and two children (15 snd18), initially was worried about the whole process, in particular would the tour company turn up, how do I pay, what if it’s a scam, Teddy was excellent, WhatsApp video called him prior, arranged payment and all worked out perfectly. They turned up as promised and then took us on a 2 week tour that exceeded our expectations… would definite recommend
