Our guide, Bosco, was outstanding: very attentive, friendly and always willing to help. He made us feel looked after at every moment and helped us get the most out of every day of the safari.
We visited Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which was an incredible experience and the highlight of our trip, as well as Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park. Both safaris were wonderful, with great wildlife sightings and beautiful scenery.

Very personalised and warm
My experience with Bugoli was amazing. The driver - Collins was super nice and gave me a lot of information about gorillas, Uganda, food. It’s more like travelling with a friend. The experience of staying in the lodge always excellent - people made sure I was comfortable. The Gorilla family i saw was a unique experience which i will cherish. Hope to do many more tours with them

Amazing experience from start to finish.
I had a wonderful experience with my guide Brighton. He was protective of me every step of the trip which was reassuring considering that I travelled as a young solo female. The company’s director Michael was always available to answer my questions and solve any issues that arose from the first inquiry until I landed safely back home. The tour itself was incredible and was catered to my desires and time constraints. Michael made sure to communicate every detail with me and the whole team was available to me in one convenient group chat throughout the trip. I was nervous at first but Michael and Brighton continually reassured me that they had my safety and comfort as their top priority. Brighton continually checked in with me about how I was feeling and changed our plans when necessary. I am so thankful for Michael and his team for organizing such an amazing trip and I appreciate Brighton going above and beyond for me each day we spent together. I will continue to recommend Bugoli Adventures to my friends and family. There were plenty of tour companies available but for the price and itinerary, communication, safety, and experience they had to offer- I know I made the right choice. Amazing experience
The tour went great! Collins was a chill driver and provided a professional , well composed experience which was well planned and executed but didn't feel forced and was flexible. All the back office team was very responsive and always texted me back very quickly with good answers, no matter the time of day... the gorillas and chimps, of course, were awesome and the highlight of the trip!!

Bugoli tours made miracles happen to get a permit and the full tour coordinated within 6 hours of my pickup. I was very impressed with Michael’s ability to make the tour happen and the whole team’s communication before the tour. When I met my assigned driver, Brighton, at 1am in Kigali for pick-up, I knew I made the best choice. He drove us through the early morning and as we made it to the trekking office, he gave me a personalized tour of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Bwindi Forest. He drove so safely, I was able to catch a quick nap. He helped me get ready for the trek. The trek itself was UNBELIEVABLE. Our guide, rangers, porters, and tracking team were so kind and experts at their roles. We saw 2 silverbacks, babies from 3 weeks to 6 months, and had a route that accommodated all paces. When I rejoined with Brighton, he made sure we were comfortable for the ride back. We stopped for a delicious Ugandan lunch. He facilitated border crossings, including a challenging reentry to Rwanda due to my particular Visa and we made it back to Kigali on schedule. I will recommend Bugoli to EVERYONE because of the care and enthusiasm Brighton and his friends shared about the Gorilla Trek experience.

I had an amazing experience with Bugoli Adventure during my safari. From the beginning of planning until driving with Brighton - my driver - to Lake Mburo, Bwindi NP, QueenElizabeth NP and Kibale Forest, everything was very well organised and the team was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional.
The trek was unforgettable and really leaves me wanting more. Being so close to Gorillas, Chimps, Giraffes, Bufalos, Hippos, Elefants, Lions and more in their natural habitat was a truly special and unforgettable experience.
Brighton guided me safely and flexibly through the safari and, above all, drove me along the “Massage Roads.” Thank you for that. You did a great job!
Even though I had booked a budget safari, the lodges I stayed at were top, the food was excellent, and the service and friendliness of the people were indescribably heartwarming.
I can highly recommend Bugoli Adventure. I travelled solo and felt completely safe in Uganda. Great organisation, great people and an absolutely unforgettable experience! 🦍🇺🇬

Trip of a lifetime made even better!
Bugoli Adventures made our trip of a lifetime even better than expected. From the moment of booking to dropping you at the airport at the end of the tour, they really go the extra mile in everything.
Our guide, Silva, was not only knowledgeable and organised, he was a great person to spend the trip with. He made everything run so smoothly, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He always did everything he could to make each of our tours special, using his contacts and knowledge to make sure we arrived at the best time, went to the best area, or had the best experience.
His attention to detail and caring demeanour was touching. Little details like asking us if we had forgotten anything after leaving each hotel (I had!), cleaning the jeep even after a long day of driving, and making sure it was always stocked with water really showed how much he cared.
The accommodation on the trip exceeded our expectations in most cases, with delicious food provided for every meal, even packed lunches after checkout for the road trips between each place. The staff at each of the lodges were so attentive and kind, as was everyone we met in Uganda.
From the minute I contacted Michael, he was clear, responsive and helpful in everything from advice about the tour route to help with the visa application.
Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed our trip, thanks to Bugoli Adventures. I have already recommended them and will continue to do so!

5 of our life’s most memorable days with game & lake safari, Gorilla and Chimp trekking!
Trekking to see gorillas in Uganda has been a dream for 30 years!
There are very few times that we have been so overwhelmed by landscape, animals, people and all presented by the world class guide and driver Mike!
The whole experience from getting in contact with Bugoli Adventures Uganda Ltd until drop off after the safari has been seamless. Their prompt and very friendly reply to every message or email gave us a very reassuring feeling right from the beginning. They were very communicative and informative around all aspects of the coming trip to Rwanda and Uganda. The packing list of essential gear was a life saver!
We were picked up as agreed at our hotel in Kigali by the driver/guide Mike. During the entire experience Mike was so knowledgeable, calm, happy, confident and social. We would not have had anyone else! He took so good care of us, helping us out and going that extra mile every day. We became “one big happy family” from start! Sharing all meals together and chatting and experiencing all events together really bound us for life.
The itinerary and lodging every day and night was very well organized. The highlights were of course the last day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi where we met the Mubale family with its two-week-old newborn baby gorilla. Such a memorable and touching moment! But we had several memorable highlights every day during the safaris in Queen Elisabeths National Park and Ishasha, by boat on the Kazinga Channel, Chimpanzee Trekking in Kalinzu Forest and the tranquil last evening on an island in Lake Bunyonyi.
We discovered and saw so many different animals and birds, stumbling upon elephants in the Engiri Game Lodge knocking on the kitchen door! And in between all the incredible people that we met on the way, all the happy children waving and cheering on us! The roads, well, what can we say…. African massage has a completely new meaning!
Observations from us:
There were so many friendly and happy children reaching out and being super friendly during the entire trip. But a lot of them were playing football with no proper ball, they were selling hand-made drawings on cardboard paper and notebook paper. If we had known this before we would have brought a few footballs, some old football shoes and colored pens and paper. So, for you it would be a good idea to inform future clients that if they have space, bring those kinds of things. Also, you cannot have too many small bills, especially a huge amount of one-dollar bills. Dollars work very well if you do not want to exchange your money for local currency.
We are so overly grateful and happy about Bugoli and getting Mike as guide! This has been one of the most memorable trips in our lives!
