1. Best Guide Experience (Jonathan)
Jonathan is one of the best guide to have for our safari trip! He ensures that you are well taken care of and maximises the day for you. For our safari game drives, he is very knowledgeable, providing us information about all the different animals we see, differentiating the different antelopes for us and teaching us how to read their behaviours in the wild. He also places us in the best position to see the animals and get a great shot. On our first day itself, we manage to see 4 out of the big 5 in Masai Mara, we got to see all the “ugly 5” too and many more! He is also very friendly, flexible in plans and is always on time based on the scheduled timing!
2. Top Notch Hotel Selection
During our 6D5N Safari tour, we stayed in Enkorok Mara Camp, Mara Serena Safari Lodge, Enashipai Resort & Spa, and Praro Amboseli Camp. These were the options shortlisted by Jael from Jacmiya and they were awesome hotels and lodges to stay in. For the price we paid for the package, these hotels were of great value. Only point to note is that some of the accommodations charge for water (and drinks) during meal time which we were not informed beforehand.
3. Package Value
Jael helped to put together a package that is truly worth the budget we had for her. She found ways to help us maximise the cost we had to pay for our game drives and provided us with exciting experiences like boat ride and walking safari over at Lake Naivasha which were complimentary! For a private safari tour with just 2 of us and a whole jeep to ourselves, we truly enjoy the experience!

Amazing customised experience!
We had a splendid experience with Jacmiya Safaris, service was always prompt and friendly. Our guide Jonathan was very knowledgeable and shared all kinds of information about the animals we saw. He’s an expert driver that always got us spots where we could take the best pictures and make the best memories. The hotels included in our package were very comfortable and the food was great!

Attentive, professional, reliable
We have our first family safari with small kids organized with Jacmiya Safaris. Jael was organizing our trip and was very responsive and patient with all my queries. Safari went fabulous and kids and parents got wonderful experience. Our safari guide - Nickson - is a pro ! We enjoyed his company. Plus there were no safety concerns whatsoever. Will recommend.

Incredible
Our entire experience with Jacmiya from start to finish was so easy and worth every penny. From great organisation by Jael, answering our queries clearly and promptly, to the safari itself with our guide Joshua. It has been so incredible and completely stress free. Joshua has put in so much effort to find us the animal sightings and has been providing lots of knowledge along the way. Thank you so much, it has been the perfect honeymoon.

Above and beyond
Excellent experience. We have simply had the most amazing, wonderful, and peaceful time booking with Jacmiya Safaris and in particular our liason Jael, and most importantly our guide Joshua. We chose Jacmiya after reading online reviews for our honeymoon and our first time in Kenya.
Our journey through the Mara has been filled with so many animal spotting, learning about facts and taking so many detours to look at majestic elephants, and elusive cats. We have spend all of our time in the Mara being treated so well and are really grateful for the time and experience.
Lastly thank you so much to our guide Joshua. He is simply above and beyond. He has made our journey comfortable and memorable. We have learnt so much and enjoyed all the animals so much that I know both me and my wife will leave feeling extremely satisfied and hungry for more next time!

Quick, friendly and professional – I’d definitely use them again!
Right from the very first email, we felt we were in good hands with JACMIYA. As safari novices, we received excellent advice on choosing our tour.
From being picked up at the airport right through to our return flight: everything was well planned and went smoothly, without any stress.

Everything is very good.
Our safari guide in Amboseli was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge of the ecosystem and animal behavior was remarkable — he could spot a lion from miles away and knew exactly where the elephants would gather at sunset. He was patient, passionate, and always made sure we had the best photo angles. Beyond wildlife, he shared deep insights into Maasai culture and local conservation efforts. His driving was smooth and safe even on rough terrain. Thanks to him, our Amboseli experience was unforgettable. Fantastic time in Kenya
Our operator Jael is very warm and responsive, showing great care about our itinerary and whether we are enjoying ourselves both before and during the trip.
