Unforgettable Experience
My wife and I recently, Oct, 2026, returned from an unforgettable experience in South Africa and Mauritius. Our trip was planned from start to finish with Kim Wagner from Safari Online. Our experience with Kim was exceptional. I started our planning process by requesting quotes from 3 travel providers. Kim's initial response resonated with what I was looking for and I decided to proceed working with her. I am so glad we did. Kim was an excellent communicator promptly answering my many questions and constantly reassuring me of my concerns even though we were 6 hours apart.
This was our first trip to Africa and my wife was very apprehensive and concerned about going to Africa. Kim planned a 3 week trip that included Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, a Safari in Sabi Sands (Kruger Park), Cape Town, Franschhoek (wine country) and wind down on a resort in Mauritius. Once I was well into planning our trip, Kim setup a Zoom session so we could get to know each other better and further discuss the details of our trip. Kim planned the whole trip perfectly, from flights, transfers, tours, guides, hotels and even restaurant reservations. She provided a detailed, day-by-day, itinerary so we could better understand the hotels and tours that were being planned. When I was close to finalizing our trip she provided a brief video of what was planned for us. I must say the video was amazing and reflected what we actually experienced.
Prior to our trip and once every small detail was discussed and worked out, I mean every detail, Kim provided a detailed email package containing information, from suggested packing list, gratuity suggestions, city information to a detailed day-by-day itinerary of what was planned, what was included and what was excluded; she even provided access to a travel App that contained our day to day itinerary. Very thorough and helpful while on our trip.
Kim's support didn't stop once we left for our trip. Kim continued to provide prompt and detailed support, she provided boarding passes 24 hrs. before our flights and continued to promptly address any questions or issues that we encountered; her service was exemplary.
The places we visited, hotels, tours, guides and restaurants that Kim booked for us were all top notch and the service we received was exceptional.
We had an unforgettable and amazing trip; the sights we saw, the safari experience, the luxury hotels, the delicious restaurants and the people we met and become friends with made our trip one that we will never forget. My wife who was apprehensive of going to Africa and scared of going on a safari loved it!
I would highly recommend Kim Wagner and Safari Online, for your next trip. Her communication skills, understanding of her clients needs and fears, her organization and attention to detail is second to none; truly exceptional.

Lindsey was extremely professional and accommodating
Lindsey prepared the itinerary based on our requests and did not disappoint! All of the trip was taken care of from head to toe and was surely one of the beat experiences of our lives. Camp okavongo was our winner, with the team there being the most loving and caring for their guests. Excellent service from beginning to end of our trip
Our private family safari to Zimbabwe and Botswana could not have been more perfect. While it was not our first trip organized with Safari Online, this time we were traveling as a family of five, which made the experience even more special.
From the very beginning, Lindsey was a true pleasure to work with. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, offered thoughtful suggestions, and carefully designed an itinerary that turned into an unforgettable journey for all of us—one we will treasure for a very long time.
We received a detailed digital itinerary well in advance, with easy access to all the necessary information and documents, which only added to our anticipation. Although this was far beyond her responsibilities, she went out of her way to reorganize our travel and ensured that we made it home on time. Vaneshree was incredible! Helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and timely with responses!
Vaneshree was our travel agent and I could not have planned this trip without her! After planning for different dates and finally deciding on February she was very patient with me and was able to find me accommodation for the dates we needed in Cape Town and for our safari. A highlight was she recommended to us Tintswalo Atlantic which was truly like she said a hidden gem, highly recommend and thankful she booked it for us. She also helped us find a malaria free safari lodge, which was Impodimo game lodge in Madikwe game reserve. Another highlight of our trip!! We saw the big 5! She arranged for all of our transfers around Cape Town and from Johannesburg airport to the safari seamlessly. Any issues or questions we had she answered in a timely manner. Terrific job with transportation and lodging
The tour was managed beautifully and the places we stayed were terrific. The views and nearness to the animals was unforgettable. My only advice would be to limit the tour to 2 camps. We visited 4 and it was a lot of packing/unpacking and taking short flights.

My wife and I returned recently from a safari trip arranged by Safari-online and we both enthusiastically tell our friends that this was the trip of a lifetime. We began planning in 2024 by working with our operator, Ilona Biagio. Ilona met with us twice by remote video calls. She took the time to get to know us and find out exactly what we like and know. She had questions for us and did not try to "sell' us a package before she figured out the perfect customized itinerary. I highly recommend to future customers that you begin your journey by meeting with the tour operator face-to-face. Ilona then put together two options and then considering what she knew about us, she guided us to the best option. One more thing: at some point she learned that 2025 was our 20th wedding anniversary, so at each destination, the camp staff did something special for us. We were truely touched. Thank you, Ilona!
