Great Safari
My 3-day shared group Safari in Masai Mara National Park was excellent as a solo traveler.
Though there was some confusion around the itinerary at first, it was quickly cleared up - communication was timely, friendly and informative.
Before the start of the safari, I got a brief introduction to how things would work and some budget safari survival tips at the Pavillion Safaris office, which was very helpful and reassuring when getting started.
Due to me visiting at the tail end of October, parks and camps were quiet. Our shared tour had just 4 participants, which led to a relaxed atmosphere during the drive, and provided plenty of space to move around for a good view during game drives. Derrick, our guide and driver, was friendly throughout and happy to answer wildlife questions whenever they came up. He also did an excellent job of organising branching transportation for the group, as we were all on different length itineraries.
I ended up as the only guest at the tented camp I was staying at (Masai Mara Manyatta Camp). The staff was nonetheless very friendly and welcoming and the food was great. The tent with adjoining bathroom wasn't fancy, but perfectly sufficient for a a short budget stay.

Pavillon Safari is the best!! Highly recommended!
We spent 7 days with Musa from Pavilion Safari, our safari guide who seemed to have a direct phone line to the animals!! He was always on time, hilarious, super friendly, and managed to spot every animal we wanted to see: lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and even a leopard hiding right in front of us. He's a great driver, patient with all our questions, and made the whole trip feel like hanging out with a good friend.
Peter, the owner, is amazing too. He was easy to reach at any time, quick to reply, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Highly recommended!

An excellent budget safari for me and my daughter
It was a classic budget safari in masai mara and lake nakuru. Payment and information run very smoothly, we had a great driver/ guide(,Moses) and we enjoyed unique moments with animals. Accommodation and food was very good as we had attached bathroom.
Safari was value for money and offer was as indicated by safaribookings. I had received a second offer via safaribookings from another company and price was totally different , much more expensive.
I wouldn't suggest visiting lake naivasha during return, neither boat nor walking is worthwhile.

Awesome 10 days Safari experience
We went on a 10-day safari (Kenya and Tanzania) and it was an unforgettable experience! At first, we wondered whether spending so many days on safari was really necessary, as we had already seen so many animals on the very first day. However, every park we visited, including Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Amboseli, offered completely different landscapes, vegetation and wildlife, making each day a unique experience. We were never bored!
Regarding accomodations - our absolute favourite was Simba Campsite in Ngorongoro, which is especially great for adventurous people. Sleeping in tents surrounded by zebras, with elephants casually walking nearby, was something we will never forget. It was a truly unique experience! Sometimes it is not about the luxury but about the memories!
We also took part in almost all the additional paid activities, including the hot air balloon ride, which was one of the absolute highlights of our trip and something we highly recommend. The only activity we skipped was the afternoon game drive in Masai Mara. Since the safari was already quite long and packed with game drives, we simply didn't feel the need to do another one.
It's worth mentioning that a considerable part of this 10-day safari is spent travelling between national parks. Personally, we didn't find the long drives particularly tiring or inconvenient, but it's something to keep in mind when planning your trip. Of course, this kind of intensive itinerary is also what makes it possible to experience so many incredible places and see such a variety of wildlife in a relatively short time.
Our guide was knowledgeable and informative, the animals were often incredibly close, and the food was adequate. Overall, this safari exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic African adventure!

One of the best experiences of my life !
I highly recommend booking your safari with Pavillons Safaris and Tours. After researching and comparing several safari companies, I found them to offer a great balance between quality and price.
We did a 6-day safari in Kenya, and overall, we were very happy with the itinerary, the accommodations, and the vehicle. The team was also very responsive and quick to answer all our questions before and during the trip.
A small tip regarding the itinerary: I wouldn’t particularly recommend the guided walk in Naivasha National Park. In our experience, it wasn’t the best value for money compared with the other activities included in the safari.
One of the main highlights of our trip was definitely our guide, Moussa. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the different places we visited, very funny, and genuinely dedicated to making our trip a success. His passion and good mood really made a difference.

Pavillion Safaris offered a wonderful experience for a reasonable price
Our tour was wonderful, especially because of our driver and guide Tony. He was able to show us everything we wanted to see in all the national parks. He was quick but this allowed us to get to the animals before other cars and have a great experience. The communication with Pavillion was clear and they offered a good service. We were able to stay with the same car but for other travellers, they organised vehicles for them. I think the value was reasonable given the peak season of the Great Migration.

Great value for the price
