An amazing adventure
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Rioba Safaris! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised and exceeded our expectations.
The communication beforehand was excellent, the service was outstanding, and everything was handled professionally and reliably. The entire trip was very well organised, starting with our pick-up at our hotel in Zanzibar, the transfer to the airport, and our arrival in Tanzania, where our adventure began.
A special mention goes to our wonderful guide and driver, Hakeem. He was fantastic: very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and always made sure we had an unforgettable experience. Thanks to him, we saw so many amazing animals, including giraffes, hippos and even a black rhino. And one of the absolute highlights was seeing a lion from just 2 metres away! An incredible experience we will never forget!
We visited Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, both absolutely beautiful places with breathtaking scenery and incredible wildlife.
The accommodation was also amazing. We stayed at Escarpment Luxury Lodge, which was truly beautiful. The atmosphere, surroundings and comfort were wonderful. If we could have, we would definitely have stayed a little longer!
Everything was worth the money, and we couldn't have wished for a better organised safari. We are extremely grateful to Rioba Safaris and especially to Hakeem for making this such a special and unforgettable adventure.
We highly recommend Rioba Safaris to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania. Thank you for everything!

Everything was perfectly organized. We never had to wait for our drivers or guide. Our tour operator kept in touch via WhatsApp to make sure everything was going smoothly and was always available whenever we had a question.
The trip couldn’t have been organized any better. Truly exceptional service from start to finish!

A fantastic, tailor-made 10-day safari with Rioba Safaris
Our trip around Tanzania with Rioba Safaris was excellent. It was difficult to meet our specific needs for a 10-day safari with standard packages, which is why we were looking for an operator with whom we could arrange tailored activities, accommodation, and transfers. The entire program fine-tuning process with Joseph was very friendly and constructive, and within a few rounds, we reached a result that perfectly met our expectations in terms of both content and price.
The journey through all the national parks, from Lake Victoria to the city of Arusha, was absolutely fascinating. Of course, the main credit goes to our fantastic guide, David, who understood our needs and priorities perfectly and did everything he could to fulfill our wishes. All the wildlife and birds—from elephants and giraffes to lions, leopards, eagles, and tiny, colorful sunbirds—were amazing. David used his years of experience to create wonderful highlights that will stay in our memories for a very long time.
Based on our specific experience, we can highly recommend Rioba Safaris to anyone traveling to this part of Africa.

A trip that delivered it all, thanks Rioba
From the first contact from Jacob to the final pickup arrangements this was all done professionally. We paid for flights upfront from Zanzibar to Arusha and then paid the balance on arrival at Arusha. The safari was a 3 day trip and was excellent - thanks to Hakeem for his amazing guiding and customer service, to get us the big 5 and more. These guys will work with you to get a safari to match your price and expectations. Highly recommended.

Absolutely incredible man with insane knowledge
Hakeem was an amazing tour guide with a plethora of knowledge about animals and the wild in general. We saw all of the animals and had close encounters with many. An absolutely unforgettable experience with a great tour guide who made it even better!

Top quality service
Rioba Safaris organized the trip very well. Our guides: Lewis in Kenya and Hakeem in Tanzania were very professional and knowledgeable. We were able to see Big 5 close and many other animals, a lot of nature, maasai village. Lodging and food was good. We are very happy with the safari.
Communication was great!
We had an amazing experience going on a 2-days safari tour, with flights, in Tanzania from Zanzibar. The stay at Ikumbi Lodge was amazing and the communication with Joseph couldn’t be better!

An exciting and endlessly memorable magical journey
1. Itinerary: June 18 - June 26,
1.2. Entry through Kenya, then travel to Tanzania, and return to Kenya (in retrospect, it would have been better to enter Kenya and exit through Tanzania).
3. Site Review:
3.1 Lake Nakuru National Park / Lake Nakuru Lodge: The accommodation was excellent, the environment first-class, and the scenery beautiful; warthogs and zebras drink water in the pond next to the restaurant, and birds fly around... It was my first time seeing elephants, giraffes, rhinoceroses, and zebras in the wild.
3.2 Amboseli National Park / Praro Amboseli: It is recommended to stay for 2 nights, as the accommodation is very good and herds of elephants can be seen everywhere... lions sleeping... Since we only stayed one night, there wasn’t enough time to photograph the distant mountains and animals.
3.3 Tarangire National Park / Ikumbi Safari Lodge: Due to the presence of a volcano, this area has unique landforms. Bright sunshine alternates with continuous mists, creating scenes where water and sky blend or burst into vibrant colors. Various small animals roam freely, unaware they are being watched by lions, while flamingos feed elegantly and rest in a distinctive manner, making the experience profoundly beautiful all together.
3.4 Central Serengeti National Park / Tukaone Serengeti Camps: It is recommended to stay 2-3 nights. During the migration season, the movements of wildebeest and zebra herds differ. In June-July, it is advisable to be near the Masai Mara River. During this visit, due to the start of animal migrations, finding the Big Five requires guided safaris led by Frank & Alex, relying on their experience and courage. We especially saw leopards, large herds of unusually handsome zebras, and various birds. At this time, humans are no longer special but merely participants in nature.
Summary: Africa's climate is very suitable for safari, with significant temperature differences between morning and evening, so sun and dust protection is necessary. The local professional safari company (*Rioba Safaris) left a strong impression with their expertise and responsibility, provided that one knows what kind of safari is desired; even last-minute itinerary changes can be handled properly (including variations in airport departures or arrivals). For flights, it is recommended to choose international airlines (such as Qatar Airlines). Although accommodation and food are somewhat limited by local conditions, they have their distinctive charm. Social security is generally safe, and foreigners are treated very friendly, especially the Maasai people and their way of life. The acts of kindness from the guide Frank towards them were particularly touching. We also purchased some of their local specialty products (paintings and jewelry are very interesting). We would definitely visit again if given the chance.
