Michelle Astbury was a clear and available communicator throughout the development of our trip. She coordinated a trip that exceeded my expectations in value for the money. All transfers and guides were professional, on-time and provided exemplary service. In Cape Town and during Safari, all guides, trackers, staff we interacted with were friendly, courteous and were extremely knowledgeable in their craft. Lodging that Michelle selected for us surpassed our expectations in all respects - fantastic food, professional service staff, clean and well appointed rooms. Our group of five had only excellent praises to all that Michelle created for us. I have traveled to many exotic places and this tour is now #1 on my list. If you could go anywhere, go to Cape Town and on Safari in South Africa and most importantly, work with Michelle to create an exquisite and memorable trip of a lifetime.

We went with high expectations and they were exceeded really quickly. The lodges were great and all the staff were really nice, the guides and trackers were really enthusiastic and great fun. Every bit of food we ate was also absolutely top drawer. The transfers were also surprisingly fun, Reithe, our driver was full of info about the game reserves, the local area and much more. From the moment we landed in Hoedspruit Airport until we got back there everything was handled really well for us, it couldn't have been better organized.

We had an outstanding trip to South Africa, and we could not have done this without Michelle's great organization of our trip. From the game drives to the wine tours around Cape Town, the trip was an absolute blast.

Michelle from Explore and Travel Africa was amazing. She organised everything for us and the trip was absolutely seamless. We didn't have to think about anything as she organised it all. She was also very flexible to our needs.
Explore and Travel Africa provided all of the information we needed for the trip so it was easy. We didn't know much about South Africa or safaris so we didn't even know where to start and were a little bit nervous, but it was obvious from the first interaction that she had lots of experience and suggested the best accommodation and services based on what we were looking for and our budget. We had lots of questions and she was very helpful and responsive every time. We requested lots of quotes from other tour operators and hers was the best value for money. She also gave us an option for doing 2 nights in one place and 2 nights in another which other companies didn't suggest. We took this option and we are so glad we did!

Outstanding
Michelle and the Explore & Travel Africa team exceeded expectations in every way. My wife, her family (10 people total) and I visited South Africa in March 2022 and Michelle planned the perfect 5-day safari holiday at Simbavati Hilltop for the family. She handled everything including pricing for the trip, communication with the lodge, one-way flights from Cape Town to the safari location, transfer from the airport to the lodge and outbound transfers and flights from Johannesburg back to the US. The lodge itself was 5-star and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury yet authentic safari experience. I have been using Explore & Travel Africa several times, always requesting some complex to organize trips, sometimes crossing several countries and they proved to be reliable partner. Last time they organized my trip to South Africa. It was tailored made tour, combining exploring the country, shark cage diving and game sarari.
