Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Payment is considered agreement with the terms and conditions.
Names as Per Passport
To make a booking we require your full name as it appears on your passport.
Prices
All prices are quoted in USD. Quotes are subject to availability and the price is only guaranteed when paid in full. Price changes may occur that are out of our control such as increases in product or service costs, fuel surcharges, currency fluctuations or tax increases.
Payments
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. This deposit is usually non-refundable but circumstances (amount of time before trip, etc.) may allow for a partial refund. Full payment is due at least 7 days prior to date of departure unless otherwise stated. Payment can be made via bank transfer, in cash or using credit card. Credit card payments are subject to a 5-6% service fee per transaction charged by the Bank of Tanzania. Please note that we do not accept USD notes that were made before 2006.
Changes to Booking/Cancellations
Changes to your booking may result in additional feels charged by the supplier (accommodation, flights, etc.). Cancelled bookings can also result in additional fees, which may be up to 100% of the cost of the trip. This is dependent on how far in advance the cancellation or change occurs and policies vary between suppliers. If a refund is due from a supplier, we will refund you only after receiving the money from the supplier.
Travel Insurance
We recommend that clients take out appropriate travel, medical and cancellation insurance as emergencies, accidents or extenuating circumstances can result in a cancelled or shortened trip.
Special Requirements
Please advise us prior to arrival (preferably at time of booking so we can notify accommodation or arrange for different meals on a camping safari or on the mountain) of any dietary preferences or allergies as well as disabilities or illness.
Health
We recommend that all clients planning international travel should consult with their doctor
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control, force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and agree to handle your personal information with care and not disclose to third parties except in certain circumstances (where we have booked airline tickets, accommodation on your behalf).
Media
We reserve the right to use pictures we take on our trips of surroundings or clients in any promotional material or on social media. If you do not wish to have your photo used please let us know.
