Terms & Conditions for Safari Bookings via AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd
1. Introduction
By booking a safari tour with AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between you (the client) and AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd. Please read these terms carefully before confirming your booking.
2. Booking Process
All bookings must be made through the Safari Bookings Platform and confirmed with a non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure.
Bookings are not final until the deposit has been received and a booking confirmation has been issued. AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd reserves the right to cancel any booking if payment is not received by the due date.
3. Payments
The full tour price must be settled in USD, with the deposit being required at the time of booking.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or any other method agreed upon by AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd.
Failure to make payment on time may result in the cancellation of the booking, and AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd will not be liable for any losses incurred due to cancellation.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.
Cancellations within 14 days of departure: No refund will be issued.
No-show or early departure: If a client does not show up for the tour or leaves early, no refunds will be granted.
5. Changes to Itinerary
While we will make every effort to maintain the original itinerary, AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd reserves the right to make changes to the tour schedule, accommodations, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, unforeseen delays, or natural events. In such cases, we will attempt to notify clients in advance, but no refunds will be provided for changes made to the itinerary.
6. Safari Tour Duration & Prices
Safari tour packages include accommodation, meals, activities, and transportation as outlined in the confirmed itinerary.
The prices quoted for the tour are per person and subject to change unless the booking is confirmed with payment.
Additional charges for optional activities, alcoholic drinks, and souvenirs are the responsibility of the client and are not included in the tour price unless explicitly stated.
7. Health and Safety
AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd ensures that all tours comply with the safety standards set forth in the tourism industry. However, clients are required to maintain personal safety during the safari.
Clients must notify AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements when booking.
We recommend that all clients obtain travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal accidents prior to booking.
8. Liability
AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd will not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, or death incurred during the safari unless it is caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Clients assume full responsibility for their personal belongings during the tour. AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.
9. Safari Tour Conduct
Clients are expected to behave in a manner that respects the safety and comfort of fellow travelers, the tour guides, and the local environment. AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd reserves the right to remove any participant from the tour if their behavior disrupts the tour or violates safety guidelines. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
10. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics), AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd reserves the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule the tour. In these cases, clients will be given the option to rebook or receive a partial refund, minus any non-refundable costs.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
We take the privacy of your personal information seriously. Any information provided during the booking process will be used exclusively for managing your booking, ensuring a seamless tour experience, and maintaining communication about the status of your safari tour.
AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd will not share your personal data with third parties unless required by law or to facilitate your tour (e.g., hotel bookings, flight arrangements).
12. Local Laws and Regulations
Clients must comply with the local laws and regulations during their safari tours, including those related to wildlife, the environment, and social customs. AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd is not responsible for any legal actions resulting from non-compliance with these laws.
13. Age Restrictions
Certain safari activities may have age restrictions. Please check with AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd for details on age limits for specific tours and activities. We reserve the right to refuse participation if the tour is not deemed suitable for a specific age group.
14. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising in relation to your booking with AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming your safari tour booking with AlfaZulu Travel and Tours Ltd, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions stated above.
