By booking your trip, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Confirmation
• 1.1 A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of a signed booking form, full payment or deposit (as applicable), and confirmation from the Operator.
• 1.2 A booking is valid only for the dates and itinerary specified. Any changes must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and additional charges.
2. Payment Terms
• 2.1 A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking.
• 2.2 The remaining balance must be paid 14 days before the trip departure date.
• 2.3 If the balance is not received by the due date, the Operator reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply cancellation fees.
3. Trip Inclusions
The trip price includes:
• Accommodation as specified in the itinerary
• Ground transportation (vehicles, guides)
• Meals as specified in the itinerary
• Park entry fees and other relevant permits
The trip price does not include:
• Flights to and from Uganda
• Personal expenses (souvenirs, drinks, etc.)
• Tips and gratuities
• Travel insurance
4. Cancellations and Refunds
• 4.1 If you cancel your trip, cancellation charges will apply based on the number of days before departure:
• 15 days or more before departure: 100% refund (Gorilla and chimpanzee permit fees will be forfeited as they are paid in advance and in full)
• Less than 3 days before departure: No refund
• 4.2 The Operator reserves the right to cancel the trip if the minimum number of participants is not met or due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule the trip.
5. Health and Safety
• 5.1 It is the Client's responsibility to ensure they have appropriate vaccinations and health precautions for travel to Uganda (e.g., yellow fever).
• 5.2 Clients should inform the Operator of any medical conditions or requirements prior to booking.
• 5.3 Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and trip interruptions is highly recommended.
6. Changes to Itinerary
• 6.1 The Operator reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather, park closures, or other factors beyond their control.
• 6.2 Clients will be notified of any changes as soon as possible and offered alternative arrangements where feasible.
7. Liability
• 7.1 The Operator will not be held liable for loss, damage, injury, or delays caused by events outside its control, including natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or personal negligence.
• 7.2 Clients are responsible for their personal safety and belongings throughout the trip.
8. Force Majeure
• 8.1 Neither the Client nor the Operator will be held responsible for any failure to perform the contract in case of "Force Majeure," including war, riots, natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
9. Travel Documents
• 9.1 It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any other required documents for entry into Uganda.
• 9.2 The Operator will assist in providing necessary documentation for activities, but the Client must verify all requirements.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
• 10.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of Uganda.
• 10.2 Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration.
