# Mugutravel Safari – Terms & Conditions
## 1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after Mugutravel Safari has received the required deposit or full payment (as specified on your quotation or invoice) and issued a written booking confirmation.
## 2. Prices
All prices are quoted in the currency stated on the quotation and are subject to availability at the time of booking. Rates may change due to supplier price adjustments, exchange rate fluctuations, government taxes, or fuel surcharges before booking confirmation.
## 3. Payment Terms
* A 50% deposit may be required to secure a booking.
* The remaining balance must be paid before 30 days of travel
* Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and applicable cancellation charges.
## 4. Dynamic Hotel Rates
Many accommodation providers operate on dynamic pricing. Rates are subject to change until a booking has been confirmed and payment has been received.
## 5. Cancellations
Cancellation fees are determined by the individual hotel, lodge, airline, transfer provider, or activity operator. Mugutravel Safari reserves the right to charge administration fees where applicable.
## 6. Refunds
Refunds are subject to the cancellation policies of the relevant suppliers. Where approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the supplier and financial institution.
## 7. Amendments
Requests to amend confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges imposed by suppliers.
## 8. Travel Documents
Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other documents required for travel. Mugutravel Safari is not responsible for losses resulting from incomplete or invalid travel documentation.
## 9. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance, including medical, cancellation, baggage, and emergency evacuation cover, is strongly recommended for all travelers.
## 10. Supplier Responsibility
Mugutravel Safari acts as an intermediary between clients and independent travel suppliers, including hotels, lodges, airlines, transfer companies, and activity providers. Each supplier is responsible for the services they provide.
## 11. Force Majeure
Mugutravel Safari shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, adverse weather, pandemics, strikes, civil unrest, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
## 12. Client Responsibility
Guests are expected to comply with the rules and regulations of accommodation providers, parks, reserves, airlines, and local authorities. Any costs arising from misconduct or negligence remain the responsibility of the guest.
## 13. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure a high standard of service, Mugutravel Safari shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, personal injury, property damage, delays, missed connections, or additional expenses caused by third-party suppliers or circumstances beyond our control, except where required by applicable law.
## 14. Privacy
Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for arranging travel services, processing payments, and communicating with clients. Mugutravel Safari will handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
## 15. Complaints
Any concerns regarding travel services should be reported immediately during the trip so that reasonable efforts can be made to resolve the issue. Formal complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days after the completion of travel.
## 16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
## 17. Acceptance
By paying a deposit, making full payment, or confirming a booking with Mugutravel Safari, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
