BACKGROUND
Savannah Southern Safaris was registered in March 2007 January 2008, the business was licensed by Zambia Wildlife Authority to conduct nature walks in the Musi - O -Tunya National Park.
As a brain child of a local guide with a decade`s experience in guiding, Savannah Southern Safaris was founded on the principal and spirit of conducting nature walks, city and village tours as well as community based projects in a more interactive,
flexible, informative and exciting way. We aim to be every nature lover's walking safari partner.
Further we offer specified birding tours.

Walking safaris or nature walks conducted mostly in the Musi-o-tunya national park are our major services.
Nature walks provide a more natural and eco-friendly way of viewing game, birds, flora and fauna.
The park hosts one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Shungunamutitima falls commonly known as the Victoria Falls. It is also home to three out of the big five animal species which include 80% of Zambia’s white rhino population, elephants and buffaloes. Transfers to and from the park are provided. Also provided are park entry fees, professional guides, armed scout escorts, light snacks and drinks.
What makes our walks special apart from our professional experienced, knowledgeable and friendly guides is our flexibility on time.
Standard duration of tours is three hours. However depending on what nature offers on any particular tour we are always willing to go longer .
Another of our niche product in which we can safely claim to be masters of in the Musi-o-Tunya national park is birding.With a steady growing interest in this area,we are currently the only existing company servicing birders.
We also offer Livingstone city tours, village tours, art tours, night life tours and visits to community based projects.
